Just read parts 29 and 30!

Awesome parts!👏👏

Part 29

Yes, it did answer my questions about Maan's behaviour.

Now understood Maan's perspective. He wants her to face the world, face the questions than to cover-up like she did. He wants her to be confident enough so that people's questions/remarks have no effect on her!

Liked the way Geet was missing talking to Maan, was dying to catch a glimpse of Maan!

Maan got mono-Geet couldn't stop herself from reaching to Maan though she was the one who decided to stay away. She does cares for him a lot!

The whole part-Geet taking care of Maan, not wanting to go back to her apartment just to ensure that Maan gets whatever he wants if he wakes up during the night was really nice. Liked the dialogues in this part😊

Her reaction when she read about Mono on net was good😆

Meera is a good observer. And I am glad she had the guts to confront Maan about him and his feelings about Geet despite of the fact they never shared their personal lives or even talk outside office besides simple hi-hello(s).

And the best thing was that Maan opened up with her and discussed what all happened that night.

Maan was smart enough to bring Yash into the conversation😉

Maan-Meera team up😉

Geet's monologue in the end seemed a little out of place, I mean it should have been somewhere before Maan-Meera's convo on phone. Just my POV. Hope you didn't mind.

Part 30

Jealousy plan in action😉😆😆

Maan and Meera teamed up to make Yash jealous but little did they know that Geet would be jealous too. Like there's a proverb in Hindi-Ek teer se do shikaar😆

Loved the beginning of this part-Meera-the creator, the director, the editor!

The conversations, Yash, geet monologues were too good!!! Geet too feels for Maan just that she isn't aware but gradually she's realizing. Liked the 'ghar' wala part.

Teasing session was again good. This reminded me of the jhumka scene in the serial when he teases Geet showing her jhumkas and then saying he's bought them for Pari and the kehna hi kya humka scene too. I miss Pari😳

I liked this line-'bas ek pal ke liye kisi aur ka naam le liye toh itna gussa?' She's a bit jealous of Meera-Maan being close and is thinking on same lines that Maan might have got jealous by Dev's name.

And I loved the last line signifying that she wants to take step further but with him!!!

Part 32: OMG!! I'm so happy you updated so quickly...amazing MG dreams after reading all of your FF!!! And I agree with your last paragraph...there's no way Geet can get over a 5 yr relationship in 2 months...that's why I love this story it's so real and that touches my heart!!

As for the story...poor Maan...what a dilemma...I feel so bad for him at the end, but geet is right also! I mean she wants to be independent, but she can't with maan helping her all the time!! Plus...stupid shasha doesn't help the situation either!!! But I love him....he's so sweet and caring!! I loved the number of times you used CARE!! It's my new fav word now...b/c for me that CARE was equivalent to LOVE!!!!

Hasini...you're the bestest!!! I loved it so much!! Also no neg comments or slaps from me...b/c i loved every single word of it!!!

Its because of people like you that I'm forced to write such long updates....but thank you so much Shivangi...You write long and lovely comments and analysis. What did I do to get such honor...

I dont know if poeple even bother to write and comment on the regular soap...but some of the regulars here take the time to post and encourage...Seriously...My face beams when I see them...

And It looks crazy when people see me sitting at my desk and smiling...it looks weird...but they dont know the bliss I experience when I see the comments and analysis.

Thank you....Please consider this as my bow to all the people who visit this FF.

Coming back to your quote...
Actually I went back and checked the original draft...there was a small detail that was scored out when I did the edits...
Geet comes into Maan's room and gives him the soup.
He starts drinking the same as if it was something that he was bound to recieve

And that is when the monlogue kicks in....like how men get used to their wife's duties...they feel they are bound to recieve them from their wife and eventually do become ungrateful sometimes... she is thinking all that she did for Dev...and how Maan was mimicking the moment atleast that day...
There were some lines I omitted purposefully...but didnt think it will obscure the intention in the above para...
So there it goes...Thanks for pointing out...I will concentrate more on edits going forward.

Wow you really do understand situations like this really good I mean how can you get the minute details and then protest it in your characters and I understand about geet I mean obviously she can't just state it's love just like that after everything she went through she would have her doubts and what this all is so she need go breathe andthink about it carefully before she understands and I agree with how you are writing these chapters on geets presepcetive and I'm loving it cause you do have a gift and the way you can analysreal life situations is just amazing and it reflects in this ff anyways great update and continue soon 😊

2nd I'm not sure if I missed something here, it might sound silly, but nonetheless..i'm done looking for answer of my own, so here it goes. On your Pink Slip I read few times Geet calling him J, what is it? Jealous?

Pink Slip is another wonderful update. Presently, Geet is still trying to find a place for herself in her life, she is trying to find out where she belongs and where she stands. From India to Toronto, she did not get a chance to find out her own identity, her identity was attached with someone else. When she came to New York she wanted to see if she could make it on her own, if she could survive it on her own and be successful, if she could find her identity.

New York was not easy for her either…she stumbled many times and fortunately Maan was always there for her catching her before she fell. Maan cares for her a lot and always wants to be there for her. Geet appreciates what Maan does for her, but at the same time, she always feels like she is the one who is always receiving. There is no balance. Maan is already settled and has a status and position for it is very easy for him to help out Geet when she needs her help. But does this mean Geet should continue to take the help from him all the time. Where will this leave Geet?

When will she ever find out if she can manage on her own? If she can make herself successful without anyone's help? She needs to do this on her own for her own self-worth, self-respect and self-esteem.

This is where her confusion lies, she does not know if she loves Maan, or is it just attraction or is it gratefulness that she feels towards Maan?

How can she distinguish from all of them? She was never in love before. She cannot imagine a life without Maan but at the same time she needs to be grounded herself she needs to find her space in this world in this life. If Geet does not find herself and her individuality right now then how will the relation proceed in the future, every time something happens Maan will be there for Geet and it will be a one way relationship. For a relationship to grow stronger there needs to be a balance on both sides. Geet also wants to know how and what she can contribute to this relationship...when it reaches that point.

But Geet can only contribte to the relationship once she knows where she stands.

Maan is also frustrated….he really cares about her and he does not understand why all of a sudden Geet is pushing him away. But it has nothing to do with Maan personally, Geet is just trying to find her individual self. I can understand how Maan is authoritative and wants to do it all, but at the same time he needs to understand that he should let Geet walk on her own …until she reaches out for his help.

Rachana, you covered literally EVERYTHING I would have said....thats amzing and also not fair. Leave something for me to write too hehe....

Beautifully expressed emotions of Maan and Geet Hasini :-) Like I told you, while they both need to find their ground personally, their being together acts as a catalyst in discovering themselves and each other as well. Their relationship will evolve much more with a stronger foundation if they discover themselves first before giving the opposite person the joy of being in love with the other (I hope this makes sense to you lol)
