New FF: New York times with Maan and Geet - Page 28

awesome update.. so cute and loved the whole cooking scene

Finally I finished reading basially I found your ff last night and started reading and omd I'm hooked. There's something about your ff that I really, I like the slow process between the two and how you take time and thought in how to present geet and maans character and they are your own creations as you show how each of them react to soemthing you make both if them like an open book in each chapter and make us understand their actions and why they do so bravo 👏 so yeh I couldn't comment on each othe chapters but I can on this one so let me start well I like how both of them need to find reasons to meet each other or talk to each other so today they were happy about the Sunday lunch ( brunch) and the roti part was real sweet in how geet understood maans so decided to make maan feed her so they're both equal and then when she tries to make him happy so she lihhtns the mood up and I must say their relationship is different it's much more than friendship and mere attraction it's special and you've potrayed it very beautifully.
I just want to say this is one of my fav ff's with a different concept but a different approach that works really well and not many ff's have done that but yours has an that why it's one of my favorites so keep up the good work and can't wait for the next update 😊

I wasn't sure about the word pervert in the post. I just couldn't put Maan and the word together and was actually expecting some harsh comments from your end...but this is needed.
but guess you people are too kind to me and are taking it the way I'm presenting.
I'm really thankful for that.

Pushpi I did highlight the difference in relationship on purpose.
Its a grey area for now...i only said its different from Yash and Meera...but is she even using the same scale to measure?
In part 20 there was the scene where Maan is searching for the crystal and he finds geet...even there if you notice Maan reads that geet seems to be having a lot of questions in her mind...but he is in doubt if she even knows all her questions?

Dev and Maan relationship...please wait...lets concentrate on the current track..😊

Maan to me is in a much better state than Geet...doesn't mean he has all of it figured out either...but today's impulsive behavior needs to be dealt with...else according to his character he will continue to be in turmoil...

Geet wants to do something for him that's it...she has not pondered too much as to why...for now she is overwhelmed by the things he has done for her as she feels that no one has supported her so much without even being asked for help.

As for some questions around office...Geet calling him Maan directly...why she is not scared of him...
This is the US...no one calls anyone Sir...

She is not scared of Maan...and stands up to him because..she has been abroad, managed to have a higher education despite being a small town girl..
There is no need for her to fear him as long as she is getting the work done.

Maan is not marching with anger left and right...he doesnt own the company..he is senior to Geet
When she doesnt deliver her first assignment...in a professional setting he cant get up and say "
Tum auratein...kuch teek se nahin kar sakte hain.." that is a lawsuit/HR violation waiting to happen. 😃

He smiles much more than the Maan in the soap...because, if he is a sadoo to everyone...then he cant be a New yorker trust me..those where somethings I had to change because of the location and he needs to meet a decent social circle too.
But does he smile from his heart...no and Geet knows that too..that is why she keeps asking him to open up.

Whoa! Another fabulously amazing update! This is just getting better......am so in love with this FF! Lolz......they are so much fun together......all four of them......lovely! Lolz at Yash spilling everything.....and poor Meera had to help him clean up. Aww.....Maan was jealous seeing Geet feed them......and was feeling embarrassed coz of that later......but Geet made him feel at ease......I so loved that atta part......wonderful! Oh, even that breakfast part was sweet......Geet is subtly wanting him to know that he is special to her.....and the last bit....kinda funny....lolz....and finally Geet has a home.....all in all a superb update! Do continue soon.

First...thank you all and Thanks smiliey for assuring me...

Everyone has been asking me this question...So here it is...

In the soap Maan goes about breaking some boundaries...he holds her hands and twists it...pulls her too close, Dancing in the public..but the Maan in NY times has been more polished and is in control...very level headed...he never initiated any contact on his own...even in Part 5 when they hold hands...she makes the move and he just takes it forward when she hesitates.
He waits for approval from Geet even to call her....which he hasn't misused until today...he is still uncomfortable to step into her inner ring because she is still very much married.

The reason I felt nervous was because, the way Maan's character has been portrayed flawless so far will be tainted a little when he slips and makes her force feed him...
And I wasn't sure how many people were going to feel the same way I did...and were not going to recieve it well...

Anyways...I hope all is good.

I loved how Geet was waiting for Meera to say something to thanks Maan'she knows she cannot do anything grand or VIP or something that screams $$$$$, but what she can do something that has her feelings, emotions attached to it'that is how Geet was..always doing something personal.😳😳

Awww'Geet is in the waiting mode'..she wanted Maan to call her, make time for her (people)'nice'it is hard for her to admit.

Maan's comment ' I wanted to be a gentleman today and I did not know if she was going to let me be one'..

I believe Maan has always been a gentleman to her in his own way, he is very sweet, kind, caring, considerate'so Maan please do not underestimate yourself, do not devalue yourself'you are perfect just the way you are J ❤️❤️

Awwwwwwww Geet made him breakfast coffee and omletteee ' 9 minutes''awesome'and said "AAP KE LIYE" (when the heart speaks, mind follows) 😳😳

Maan thinks to himself - I was strangely getting tangled between what I should be vs what I am vs what I wanted to be'.in her life'. (again, Maan is underestimating himself he thinks he should just be a friend or something, he does not know what his relationship with Geet is currently and what he wants his relationship to be her. Maan is worried, concerned, anxious since Geet is still married...so he does not know how to proceed...he does not know what future has in place for him...but I think...Maan is just going with the flow right now...he has started to not resist against the nature, against the universe ...he has started to just let it be....

Loved how Geet was so anxious, she wanted everything perfect, cus she was doing this for Maan and only Maan. ❤️❤️

Lolz Maan was so cute'.he got jealous that Geet fed Yash and Meera'and he watned to be fed too'.awwwwwwwwww so cute'lolz'he wanted to be fed twice''

Maan felt at HOME. And Geet cared about him. ❤️❤️
