PART 5

Riddhima was walking towards the nurse station when someone pulled her to the fire escape. She almost lost balance but his strong arm was tightly gripped on her waist. Riddhima lifted her head and was immediately lost in his eyes. When she recovered from the intense eye lock she wrapped her arms around his neck so tightly and refused to let go off him.
"Sid... Sid... i missed you soo much. Please dont leave me and go again please... pleasee Sid..." She ran her fingers through his bare chest and her fingers outlined his lips. She clutched him more tighter so that their lips were inches away. She moved her hand through his thick hair and pulled his head towards hers. She tilted her head to kiss him. She barely touched his lips... and..
TTTTTRRRRRRRIIIIINNNNGGGGGGGGG
The alarm woke her up! Riddhima got up with a jerk! She covered her face with both her hands and moved her hands towards the back of her head.
"It was a dream! Sid is not here! It's a dream! Bu.. but... WHAT WAS THAT DREAM SUPPOSED TO MEAN! Why am i thinking about Sid in such a way.. Have i not decided what i want in life and whom i love!? Why am i dreaming about Sid when i am supposed to dream about Armaan...! Armaan.... he is the one i am in love with! Not Sid! Sid was just my husband not my lover...! We were together because of the pressure of society nothing else! And we parted because there was no "love" between us... OH GOD!"
Riddhima got up and went to the washroom before she went insane thinking about a "silly" dream!

Back in hospital Armaan was going through some old records of patients for reference. While grabbing another file from the shelf the files in his hand fell and one of them went beneath the shelf. While he tried to reach the file he got of something else. He retrieved his hand to see what he has got. It was a photo. Covered with dust. He blew the duct from the photo and when he was the clear image his jaw dropped!
It was the photo Sid took to "teach" Riddhima a lesson for torturing him way back when they hated each other. Armaan who was unaware of all this was really shocked to see the pic. He was it fits. He walked towards the fire escape and waited for Riddhima to come so to confront her.

Armaan thinking " I cant believe she hid such a big thing from me! And i, like a fool thought she is still "pure"! He was in fits! That's when he heard Riddhima talking to one of the docs. He waited for her to be near fire escape. When she was clise by he grabbed her arm and pulled her towards the fire escape!

Riddhima, for a second thought she hasn't recovered from her dream and was imagining the same sequence. Like in the dream she lifted her face to see Sid there but was disappointed when she realized it's Armaan!

Armaan : "Riddhima! Will you explain me what the hell is this"?
He showed her the pic.Armaan expected Riddhima to be shocked but he was taken aback when she took the pic from him and continued to stare at it at the end oh which she had a teeny weeny grin on her face. As Armaan continued to puke his anger Riddhima still had the smile on her face, still staring at the pic. Seeing her reaction Armaan got more frustrated. He took the pic from her tore it into pieces and threw it. That brought Riddhima back from her "dream"!

Armaan : RIDDHIMA!?

Riddhima : oow Armaan please stop screaming! If it's about the pic then it's nothing. If you have the patience i'll tell you what happened.

They sat on the bench in the fire escape as she narrated the whole story. The smile was back on her face while narrating her meeting with Sid, their fights and everything that lead to Sid taking such a drastic step. The smile on her face stayed even after the story ended.
But Armaan din't stop cursing Sid

Armaan: That bas***d! Son of a ..

STOP IT ARMAAN!! - Riddhima cuts in!

She continued! "He did it out of anger! I humiliated him so much and that picture was "just for me to see" But unfortunately the whole hospital saw it.. But he clarified everything in front of everyone. He apologized and admitted his mistake in front of the whole hospital. That's one thing i like about him...! He is not afraind to own up and apologies if he feels he is wrong..." Riddhima was again lost in her thoughts.

Armaan after a while : So you both have never shared a bed?

Riddhima was about to say No but then after a quick flashback she said "Yes"
