Part 12
Sid leaves the hall and Riddhima is not able to meet him. She wakes unable to decipher whether she had seen Sid or it had all been a dream. She moves across the room with tears running dwn her cheeks as she recounts the moment she hugged Sid. She had felt him and she decided it ws real. He ws there. Bt where did he go? Wht cud be more important thn her to him. She gets out of the room and Shilpa sees her state and forcefully takes her back into her room. The whole of her frends and family gather around her, trying to talk her out of her decision to meet Sid. She argues and manages to escape the room.
Her torn lehenga drags behind her while she reaches the door she manages to catch a glimpse of Sid while he gets in his car. Sid leaves in his car without looking back to Riddhima who quickly runs to her car and follows him. Sid stops infront of what seems to be someone's home. He gets out of the car and into the house. Riddhima follows. The house ws heavily decorated. Riddhima looks from one corner of the room to the other. Her mind whirling with questions. Why would Sid stop here? What cud he possibly wnt frm someone's wedding? She questionned bt Sid wsnt there to answer her. The house ws hustling and bustling with guests and she wsnt able to spot the obvious. Then the guests all looked to the stair case, they looked to it anticipating someone's arrival. Tamanna walked dwn the steps with her gown flowing behind her. Riddhima didnt know who Tamanna ws and didnt bother to know either. She searched the croed for one person tht did matter to her. The one person tht made her smile through tears. Her eyes continued searchin not willing to give up.
Just then when she ws about to leave the hall thinking tht Sid might have left she turns and her lehenga is stuck to a vase. She pulls it and the vas falls down.the crowd look towards her as though questionning her sanity to walk into a party in tht state. Bt tht wsnt why Riddhima's eyes were gripped with fear. It ws because she cud see Sid standing infront of her holding Tamanna's hand and ready to put on the ring. He stops and looks at her. Riddhima on the other hand is silent and frightened as though she ws staring into death.
Tamanna house scene (Mainly Sid, Riddhima and Tamanna)
Sid: TUM? yahan peh bhi? abh kya hua?
(Riddhima moving forward towards him. She holds his hands in hers and pulls him toards herself and away frm Tamanna)
Riddhima: aisey kaisey tum kisa ka haath pakar saktey ho?
Sid: kissi? dekho! abh... ek minute tum larke walon mein seh ho keh larki walon mein seh?
(Riddhima confused and staggers and isnt able to reply. Riddhima looks dwn in confusion and isnt sure wht to reply. Sid looks to Tamanna who gives Sid a questionning look)
Tamanna: tum issey jaantey ho kya?
Sid: aaj pehli baar mila tha.
Tamanna: Sid ussney tumhara haath kyun pakra hai? Uska haath chodo!
Sid: Tamanna uski halat dekho... she needs help...
Tamanna: Yh I know she needs help bt the question is wht sort of help?!
Sid: tum over react kar rahi ho.. Usey kuch bolney ka moqa ho do...
Tamanna Aunt: Beta aisi larkiyon ko main achi tarha seh jaanti hoon. Apney ghar ko sambhal nahin sakti hai dusrey ka ujjar ney chali aayi!
Sid: Bubly Aunty aap kripya kar key apni mentality apney paas rakhengi toh dusron ka bhala hoga.
Bubly Aunty: Mujhe seh toh yeh sab dekha nahin jaa tha
Sid: kya? dusron ka bhala nahin dekha jaata? haan nayi cheezon ko samajhna toda mushkil hota hai....
Bubly Aunty: Yeh sab merey liye naya nahin hai... Larka larki ka haath pakar ke baron ko bhoolna!
Sid: OH! toh dusron ka bhala hona aapke liye naya hai? aur ek anjaan larka larki ka haath pakarna woh bhi baron ke samney chalta hai? Yeh aap kaisey gharaney mein pahli bhari hain?
Tamanna: Sid tum meri khandhan ki insult kar rahey ho!
Sid: Tamanna main toh bas woh....
Bubly Aunty (to watchmen): Dekh kya rahey ho? nikaal pheko iss ghiri hui larki ko bhahar?
Sid: Ghiri hui larki? Aap khud kyun nahin jaa rahi? Woh kya hai na Guards aap ko uthaa nahin payengey!
Tamanna: Sid yeh kya kar rahey ho?!
Sid: Tamanna So Sorry! I mean tumhari aunty keh baatein sun kar main woh completely pakh chuka hoon! I didnt mean to hurt u!
Tamana: bt u are!
Bubly Aunty: dekh kya rahey ho?! dekhney keh paisey miltey hain kya?
Sid: Aunty aap agar guards ko paisey bhi dethi tabh bhi shayad woh aapko nahin dekh tey!
Tamanna: Sid yeh kya kar rahey ho. Aunty seh maafi maango!
Sid: Kya main? aur maafi? kiss baat ki?
Bubly Aunty: GUARDS!
(Riddhima who had been silently just looking at Sid ws nw being pulled away frm him. Sid seeing Riddhima being man handled by the guards reacts. He holds the guard)
Sid: Larki ka haath chodo!
Bubly Aunty: Hai Hai! tevar toh dekho iss larkey ke!
Sid: Mainey kaha larki ka haath chodo!
(The guard seeing anger in Sid's eyes lets go of her arm immediately.)
Bubly Aunty: Arey Siddhant tum kuch zyada hi ek anjaan larki ki taraf dari nahin kar rahey? Ya baat kuch aur hai?
Sid: Aunty aapko naye words sikhney ki zaroorat hai jaisey keh insaaniat, madat waghaira waghaira.
Tamanna: Sid tum meri Aunty ki insult kar rahey ho.
Sid: Abh tumhari Aunty ki vocabulary itni kamzor hai toh main.....
(Jst thn Sid realises hw he ws talking to Tamanna and stops in mid sentence)
Sid: Tam, pata nahin kaisey moo seh nikhal gaya.
Bubly Aunty: Kal ko engagement ring uttaar keh phek deyna aur keh na pata nahin kaisey finger seh nikhal gaya!
Sid: Aap per day apney jale peh namak chirakney ke duty ka kitna charge karti hain?
Tamanna: Merey rishtey daar insult honey nahin aaye they yahan!
Sid: toh kya? insult karney aaye they?!
Sid: OMG! Sorry Tamanna! Im so Sorry woh tum beech mein bolti ho toh main confuse hojata hoon!
Bubly Aunty: aaj toh sirf tumhari baaton seh confuse hua hai kal ko apni mangetar ko lekey confuse hua toh?
Sid: kyun? aap experience seh bol rahi ho? aapko aisa confusion hua tha kya?
Tamanna: Abh bas Sid!
Sid: Tamanna meri baat suno woh main..... Tamanna I swear I didnt mean to hurt U! Tamanna please!
(Tamanna on the other hand seeing Sid's odd behaviour is sad and runs to her room. Sid is now mystified on why he RUINED his engagement to the girl he believes he loves for someone he dsnt even know the last name of)
