Dear muskan, You have expressed well about the mental state of the one who losesd a dear family member in some accident or something like that and the worst part is when they are unable to locate the person. The question is whether to believe the worst or to stick to the small vapor thin hope that the person is alright & nothing fatal would have happened. It is really difficult to coup up with taht situation that too when you are alone and noone is their with you share your fear. When one is immersed in that worst scenario, it is really difficult to accept the truth even after coming across the person physically. That is what happened to Maan here. He was so taken aback about the fact that Geet is no more, for him it was worst than anyone as he started knowing his wife of 4 years just few days back and he had taken an oath in front of the God saying he will keep her happy & healthy for ever and he could not even kept it for few more days. He had loved his father, he went away with his second wife leavinbg him starving for the father's love. Then his mother could whom he was loving dearly left him to his granny and died @ an early age. he loved Priya, who gave him a child and left him in middle of no where. Now he got Geets love and even before he could relish the taste of her love in full, god has decided to deprive him of love again. How can anyone take so much pain in a single life. He always doubted about losing her and that was the precise reason, he was over protective of her. But still when he heard that no one was survived, he would have died thousand deaths for not taking proper care of her, for allowing her to go there, for forcing her to join her friends when she actually said, she will not go. All he could do is cursing himself for all the things happened. he would have fainted, if he were not MSK while informing the special identification mark as 'she doesn't have her right kidney'. Yaar I really cried (despite i had a strong feeling that nothing has happened to Geet ).

Till such time, he could control his emotions to certain extent, but when he saw Geet alive opening the door of his HOME for him was the last straw. When he realized she is alive, all his fear turned into to a fit of sobbing, he wept with the fear that he had almost lost her. The thought of losing or lost is more fierce than actually losing. Geet could understand his condition (on realizing the Bombing @ Chandni Chowk) why he was behaving like that ever since he entered the house. She had sailed in the same boat during Krish's accident. Even she was lone except for Dr. Arman (Maan was not with her to give any moral support @ that moment). hence she allowed him to cry to his content, so that his fear will erase from his mind. But the nightmare will be there for quiet some time. It was good that they had the festival next day, they can concentrate on the prayers and with prayers, one can control the fears.

Geet will have to face the suffocation of his love for long time, till his heart agrees to the fact that his Geet is with him and she will not leave him in between the middle of the ocen.

Love to read the next part with equally lengthy one.
