Chapter Four

"Then?" asked Maan expectantly.

"I was talking about being...well, an important part of this office!!!" she argued lamely. "I mean-you never really think of me as someone essential for your company to profit?"

"Why should I? You're not on the board of directors, nor are you a client."

"Oh really? Well, I dare you to stay for one day without asking me to find any file for you, bring you coffee, or explain a presentation to your clients. "

"Geet, this is Khurana Constructions, not a school where kids gather together and play Truth and Dare," he said irritably.

"Who's a chicken! Maan's a chicken!!" said Geet, laughing.

"Okay fine," he said getting up. "I accept your dare-but one condition-if you lose, you will have to work overtime."

"Till when?"

"Till midnight."

"Okay then," said Geet triumphantly, "the deal is on."

I'll see how he manages to survive without me, mused Geet.

Oh god...how am I supposed to manage without her? Well, Maan, c'mon, you managed without her for two years...right? thought Maan.
