Hello Everyone! Here is part 2! I hope you guys enjoy it! Let me know what you thought!

Part 2

Maan started at Geet whose eyes fluttered shut, his hand reaching out to touch her face, his index finger following the curve of her nose down to her lips. He could feel her breath against his finger, her soft lips, his finger continued its path, tracing her chin and down her neck, causing Geet's head to fall back. Maan leaned down to brush his lips against her cheek towards her ear, pressing them lightly against her earlobe before saying, "Geet, Marry me..." and for the first time MSK said, "please..."

Geet's eyes flew open as she realized the situation she was in and her first instinct was to push him away like she always had but for some reason something told her that maybe it was time to tell him everything...

Geet sat up quickly, her forehead bumping into to Maan's causing him to pull back in pain.

"Sir!"

Geet pulled his hand away from his forehead, checking for it for signs of injury, too distracted to notice Maan's eyes staring at her, his eyes reflecting his love for her.

He thought to himself, "And she says she doesn't care about me..."

He reached out and grabbed her wrist as she lightly caressed his forehead. She looked down in surprise, realizing what she was doing. She tried to pull back but Maan just gripped her wrist tighter and pulled her down making her fall into his lap. He let go of her hand only to wrap his arms around her waist, holding her against him, his chest flush against her back causing both their hearts to race. Geet's hands ran down his arms to his hands, secretly enjoying the way his muscles felt until her hands, trying to force him to let her go but Maan held on tight.

She turned her head back to glare at him but he just said, "I won't let go until you give me an answer and telling me that you would not be good for me isn't going to cut it this time!"

Geet still struggling against him just said, "But it's the truth..."

Maan just growled out, "No, that is just an excuse Geet! I want the real reason you keep running from me! Don't you think I can tell that you love me? The way you look at me, the way you are always looking out for me, the way you smile at me! Everything gives your feelings away Geet! So don't try to lie to me!"

Geet stopped struggling, his words sinking in and she realized that she might not be able to get away without telling him the truth. She struggled to hold back her tears as she realized that after this moment she may never be able to talk to him again. She let her body relax for a moment leaning back against him, trying to soak in the moment. She closed her eyes, memorizing the way he felt against her, his smell, his touch and how safe she felt with him.

Maan could feel her body relax and smiled, thinking that she was finally going to talk to him. His arms tightened around her as he let his chin rest on her shoulder and turned his head to take in the smell of her hair. He let go of her for a moment to brush her hair aside and place and gentle kiss on her shoulder making Geet's breath hitch. She breathed in shakily, trying to control her heart and to avoid just agreeing to marry him them and there.

Then she said, somewhat shakily, "Sir...Maan...I have to tell you something...it's about my past..."

Maan, who was a little distracted by her use of his name, interrupted her, "I don't care about your past, Geet. You're my future and that is all that matters."

Geet frustrated by his behaviour and already flustered by how close he was to her, turned her head to glare and him and said angrily, "Yes it does! Because what I have to tell you could change everything! It will probably make you want to take back everything you've said to me."

Maan realizing the serious nature of the matter let, lifted her off his lap and placed her next to him on the couch, turning to face her and grabbing her hands in a loving manner.

He said softly, "Okay Geet. If you want to tell me, go ahead, I won't interrupt. I promise."

Geet surprised at this abrupt change nodded slowly and took a deep breath, her fingers clutching his tightly. Then she started to tell him her story, staring with the first time Dev came to see her, their wedding, his betrayal, finding out about being pregnant, Naintara telling her to get an abortion, her family and everything else she could remember.

Maan stared at her in growing horror, his hands losing their grasp of hers. Geet didn't notice his reaction, her eyes clouded by tears as she recalled every single memory she had spent trying to forget.
