Maan is working on his laptop when Geet knocks his cabin and enters. She says "maan sir mujhe aapse kuch baat karni thi…"
Maan: bolo Geet! ( shutting his laptop)
Geet: apko yaad hai, maine aapko bataya tha mere uss dost ke bare main… wo Hoshiarpur waala jo meri jagah yahan pe kaam karega?
Maan: Geet! Main ye job itni aasani se kisi aur ko kaise de doon…
Geet: nahi sir.. wo badi imandaari se kaam karega.. aur iss baat ki guarantee main deti hoon…
Maan: wo koi ladka hai? Tum kisi ladke se milne gayi thi?
Geet: (feeling a little awkward) .. haan sir… wo mere sheher se hai na to fir maine socha…
Maan: theek hai usey andar bulao…
As Geet goes out Maan wonders what the deal is.. he doesn't like the idea of Geet going and meeting some guy like this, and that too without telling him. He doesn't like it.. but he drives the thoughts out of his head… But as Geet enters the room with the concerned person.. his face turns even more comfortable as it is Gurvinder.
Gur: good morning sir.
Maan nods.
Gur: Sir maine MBA kiya hai aur main bahut imaandari se kaam karoonga…
Maan: agar tumne MBA ki hai.. to tum ek secretary ke job ke liye apply kyun kar rahe ho?
Gur: sir koi bhi kaam chota ya bada nahi hota.. aur fir.. ye toh shuruwad hai.. aur agar main aap jaise experienced genuius ke saath…
Maan: aapko Geet ne nahi bataya, mujhe jhoote tareef se chid hai…
Geet: nahi sir.. yeh sach main aapki bahut respect karta hai…
Maan: Geet! Yeh tumhari interview nahi hai… issi liye tum bahar jao…main issey akele baat karna chahunga….
Geet: I am sorry sir.. ( she leaves from there…)
Maan talks a little to Gurvinder for a while, as Geet tries to peep from outside, Maan notices this and makes a face and gestures her to go away… Geet runs away from there.
A while later Gurvinder comes out and geet wants to know what happened. Gurvinder tells her. Maan looks at all this. Geet sounds happy and excited for him. Bascially she is saying…
Get: mujhe pata tha, tumhe yeh naukri zaroor milegi…. ab acche se man laga ke kaam karna… ab tumhari zimmedari meri choti behen ke taraf bhi hai.. aur wo bahut bholi hai…
Gur: main jaanta hoon.. aur tum jiss baat se tum darr rahi ho na Geet… aisi koi baat nahi hai mere aur uske beech…
Geet has a recap of all the things that happened between her and Dev and she comes back to reality and says…
Geet: main jaanti hoon… channi ki pasand kabhi galat ho hi nahi sakti thi.. aur fir.. tumne jo mere parivaar ke liye kia… ( as she says this, she puts her arm on his and smiles, she says.. chalo.. main tumhe tumhara kam samjha deti hoon…
Maan who is observing all this, feels a little weird but says to himself
Maan: nahi Maan.. tu kuch zyada hi possessive ho raha hai Geet ko leke.. wo kitni bholi aur acchi hai… main ek kaam karta hoon… main Geet se hi baat kar leta hoon…
Maan calls for Geet… who comes into his cabin and she as normal and natural as she always has been. Maan kicks himself for feeling all weird about her. He enjoys the time he has spent with her.
Maan: pata hai geet jab bhi main tumhare saath hota hoon..aise lagta hai ke .. ye waqt thaam jaye..
Geet smiles to herself and blushes….as he looks at Maan's all dreamy eyes for her…
Geet: sir… agle hafte se aap kya karenge?
Maan: agle hafte kya hai?
Geet: oh ho sir.. aap khud hi bhool gaye.. main college jaungi na?
Maan: oh yes! Kya karoonga… din main tumhe 10 baar phone karoonga.. baat karoonga.. aur .. shaam ko tumhara intezaar karoonga.. take kam se kam hum dono dinner ek saath kar sake
Geet: aur … dinner saath karna hum kabhi nahi bhoolengi.. bhale hi kitni der na ho jaye…
Maan: lekin abhi abhi ..meetings aur dinners bhi to hoti hai na…
Geet: hmmm ( disappointed) .. aur aap to aadhey se zyada time ghar se bahar hi khaate hai…
Maan: toh kya hua.. main tumhe apne saath le jaunga.. as my intern… take tum seekh sako, aise dinners main hota kya hai? Etiquette.. etc …
Geet: itni baar bahar kahaana…fir toh main moti ho jaungi…
Maan: haan.. aur main tumhe utha nahi paunga…fir toh mujhe kisi aur ko dhoondna padega…
Geet: jayiye jayiye… aapko mujhe chod koi aur nahi milne waali… aapko koun jhelega?
Maan: geet! Tum mujhe jhel rahi ho?
Geet: aur nahi toh kya?
Maan: theek hai…!! Toh fir... tumhe mujhe jhelne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai… tum jao .. aur wo karo jo tumhe psand ho…
(he makes a child like angry face and turns away.. as Geet smiles…)
Geet: sir! ( goes and stands in front of him)
Maan turns away… Geet goes onto the other side as well….
Geet: sir….!
Maan: kya hai?
Geet: mazaak kya aap hi kar sakte hai?
Maan: maine kahan mazaak kia…
Geet: haan? Aapne mazaak nahi kiya? Wo doosri ladki thoondne waali baat! Mazaak nahi tha toh aur kyat ha…
Maan rests his elbows on Geets shoulders and looks into her eyes and says….
Maan: tumhe itna confidence hai mujh pe…
Geet: haan sir ( with a serious intense look) … issiliye toh jhel rahi hoon aapko ( she starts laughing again)
Maan holds Geet close to herself… and his anger slowly melts into a smile as they engage in an eye lock .. smiling at one another and then they hug… Both Maan and Geet are happy…
Geet: main Maan sir ke saath kitni khush hoon… humare pyar ko kisi ki nazar na lage… mujhe lagta hai.. mujhe Maan sir ko Gurvinder ke help ke bare main bata dena chahiye.. haina?
Geet parts from maan and looks into his eyes, takes his hand in hers and says…
Geet: sir... mujhe aapse kuch kehna tha…
Maan: bolo geet…!
Geet: wo … jo … jiske saath meri shaadi hui thi....
Maan: haan Geet… I am sorry .. itne din ho gaye.. maine apna waada bhoola nahi hai… lekin tumne uska naam bataya hi nahi…
Geet: ji..D…
Just then there is a knock at the door and sasha comes in.. she gives Geet a dirty look and geet says… " sir main baad main aati hoon"
Maan nods…
Sasha starts talking to Maan as Geet goes towards her cabin to collect her stuff… when she see's Gurvinder working at the computer.
Gur: Geet tumhare Maan sir kitne qualified hai.. aur inki company, desh ke top 10 companies main listed hai…
Geet: haan.. Maan sir, hai hi aise… job hi kaam karte hai.. perfection se karte hai…
Gur: Geet… yaad hai.. kal maine tumse kaha tha.. ek maine usko Dekha?
Geet nods…
Gur: aur maine uska car number note kia bhi tha… lekin jab main yahan aaya, toh mere mann main ek doubt chal rahi tha… ke Maan sir ka surname Khurana hai.. aur tumhare pati ka bhi… toh?
Geet: Gurvinder, delhi main kitne log honge jiske naam main Khurana hoga.. aur fir… Maan sir kitne shareef insaan hai... aur unki dadi…itni pyar… aur maine kayi baar unke bhai se bhi baat ki hai phone pe… sab bahut acche log lagte hai …
Gur: main ye nahi keh raha ke Maan sir ke parivar so koi hoga.. main bas itna keh raha hoon.. ke unke contacts main.. shayad koi door ka ristedaar ya…
Geet: zara wo gadi ka number ko dikhana…
In the meanwhile…
Dev in his room is super frustrated after another fight and another taunt from naintara.. he thinks to himself…
Dev: pata nahi main iss naintara ko kabhi samjha paunga ki nahi.. ke main sirf usse baat karta hoon…
Ek Nainatara hai.. jisse main itna samhaneki koshish kar raha hoon aur wo maanti nahi.. aur doosri taraf wo Geet.. jisne aankh band kar ke mere wishwaas kar liye.. aur aapne aap ko mera kar dia ….bechari Geet… najaane kaisi hogi? Kya kar rahi hogi … waapis hoshiarpur chali gayi hogi na ab tak? Main uske ghar call karoon? Pata lagan eke liye? On humanitarian grounds atleast…
He dials her number in Hoshiarpur…
Back in the office…
Gurvinder … checks the car number on the website… and there is a shocked expression on his face
Geet: kya hua Gurvinder! Tum itne shocked kyun ho
Gurvinder simply turns the computer screen towards Geet and she is shocked to see what she has read.
The car is registered under the name of "Maan Singh Khurana"-of Khurana Constructions.
Precap: A search in Maan's family tree and profile reveals Dev Khurana as Maan's younger brother-Geet faints-a while later when maan is at Geet's place he talks about his brother and about how important his family is to him! Will Geet be able to tell Maan that the Maan who cheated her is his own brother?
