Yeah, Maan and Geet still love each other. I was inspired by Veer Zaara for that part. The next few part are going to have Geeta getting curious and trying to find answers. Small steps though.

Part 1: hey, even in my FF, maan tells geet that she should go to harvard so that she can handle the khurana empire along with him...!!!! 😃.... and they've lived apart for 18 years...wow....how??? They have been living apart for 18 years because that is what Geet wanted. She wasn't sure if she was strong enough to be so close to him and yet not living with him. Life was complicated and aftre a while she thought she was doing the right thing for her daughter not getting her exposed to everything that had happened, not wanting the past to touch Geeta.she still considers her home as the place where he is: awwww so sweet...!!!! lovely update honey..!!! so geeta is going to fuffil maan's dreams..!!!! awesome..


part 2: hmmm....so pinky and adi are married!!! that's nice and all three of them are in touch..!!! dev 😡....because of him maan and geet had to part ways..!!!! Ya, Dev was the major reason Geet left. When Geet left Dadi was very sick and Maaneet were sure that if she found out what Dev had done she would have been devastated and it could have affected her health. And also since Dev had to be there so that Dadi would have her grandsons with her Maan couldn't throw him out. Geet not wanting to hurt Dadi decided to leave instead so that she wouldn't have to deal with Dev. gosh, but they still love each other so much. i loved the scene between maan, pinky and adi.. very nice!!! 😛 and sameer is pampered by maan singh khurana, so cool...!!! lets see what';s next..!!!1


part 3: except for messages and brief phone calls, maan and geet have not vivited each other any time??? how come?? was it because daadi was not well and maan could not leave her or geeet was not ready to see dev's face and hence never returned to khurana mansion!!! Geet and Maan never visited each other again because it was Geet's decision. She probably will not return to the Khurana Mansion as long as Dev is there. (Which at this point we don't know if he is still living there) Earlier in their separation she felt that if she ever came close to Maan and she would get weak. She didn't know how she would handle getting separated from him once again. She wanted to be strong for Geeta. Maan on the other hand has always left it up to Geet for them to unite. (However I have a feeling that he has and may decide to come see her on the sly). Initially they didn't meet because of Dadi's health and then time just flew by.another wonderful update honey...!!! 👏

though i was upset that they had stayed away for 18 years, but i love it, how their love and memories kept them together despite the distances..!!! very beautiful...!!! waiting for your next update...1!!

Yeah, I am from New York, born and breed. 😃

Devi and Kate are true angels. They are Geet's family even Geeta considers them her Masi Devi and Masi Kate. Geet's professional attire had changed however at home and on special occasions she still dresses in Indian clothing, except not she has changed from Salwars to Saris.

As for my name, one of the characters in the story in the future updates will be named after me, it is for you to figure out which one 😉. A little game, a little suspense.

I hope all your dreams for the future are fulfilled. NYC is one of the nicest places to live, it has everything you can dream off.

As for the next update, its either going to be later today or sometime in the morning tomorrow. Glad you like my FF

Oh! No, i didn't want to make you cry. I guess my FF has made a few people cry.

The truth is is you never experienced sadness you wouldn't recognize happiness.

Happiness is on its way, it is going to start in small doses and hopefully there may even be a bit of comedy.

Part 4

Maan re-read the message he had received, 'today she has taken flight, she is going to soar to great heights, she graduated high school', he smiled.

Geeta had graduated High School. She was the same age now as her mother was when he first met her. How young Geet was when she went through all the hardships. She was already a mother at 19 only a year older than what Geeta was now. She had been a child, a child who should have been carefree not burdened will all the weight of the world. Yet she was positive, caring, loving and free, she still had an innocence about her. It was precisely those qualities why he had fallen in love with her.

He was glad that Geet had been successful in protecting Geeta from everything that had happened, he wasn't sure where Geet had found the strength to carry on with her life. He would have had crumbled under all that weight. He guess it was because she was a woman. Women did have the ability to bare immense pain and he honestly believed that they had bigger hearts than men too. Although not scientifically proven he was sure of this fact.

His thoughts were interrupted with the ring of his office phone, his secretary-Mira was on the other side.

Mira- "Sir, Mr. Mehra is on the line. He would like to talk to you, are you available to talk at the moment?

Maan-"Yes, put him through."

Mr. Mehra-"Hello Maan, how are you? I hope everything is going well with the business. I just spoke to your brother Vicky and he said that I should talk to you"

Maan-"Sure, Mr. Mehra, what can I help you with? Please don't hesitate, not only are you my client but also an old family friend, so please let me know what is on your mind"

Mr. Mehra-"I knew one of you brothers went to Harvard, I wasn't sure which one and Vicky was kind enough to tell me it was you. You see the thing is that my grandson was on the waiting list however we just found out that he has been accepted to Harvard and I was hoping that you would accompany my son to drop my grandson off. It would be of great help since Harvard is a totally different ball game and having someone who has already been through it during check in would be of great help. I would greatly appreciate if you did me this favor."

Maan-"Mr. Mehra please don't worry, I will help you out, its not a problem at all. Plus I am going to be in the states for business during the first week of September, so it wont be inconvenient for me to stay a few extra days to help your grandson. I will speak to your son and make arrangements. Also please congratulate your grandson on his admission to Harvard. It is an extremely difficult university to get into."

While he said that, he wanted to add that his daughter too had gotten into Harvard, however he stopped himself from doing so as he knew that a barrage of questions would follow and he was in no situation to answer them.

Once he hung up the phone he smiled, this was a perfect occasion to see Geet and Geeta, even though it maybe from afar.

He remembered the last time he had seen them, he had gone to NYC . He had through his security team found out where Geet lived. He had waited across the street from her building and had seen Geet leave for work in the Morning, she looked beautiful and so put together. All the people who had known her as the secretary at Khurana Constructions would have been surprised, no one could have said now that she looked like she was from a small town in Punjab. She looked every bit the New Yorker and the natives.

He had attended some meetings and returned again to catch a glimpse of her and had felt lucky to see her leaving the building with Geeta. He had followed them to Central Park and had basically watched them as they sat on the grass and enjoyed Shakespeare in the Park. He still remembered that the play they were watching was 'Much Ado About Nothing' and how some of the scenes had reminded him about Geet and his relationship. If only they could have taught their real life Don John -Dev a lesson they would have been living a happily ever after. Once the play had ended he had watched them leave and had stopped himself from following them. He didn't want to disrupt their peaceful existence for his selfish reasons. He was just glad he had seen them happy. Geet still looked the same even though her attire had changed and Geeta, his beautiful baby looked so grown up. She was the spitting image of her mother. It was like Geet from the past had stepped into the future, just in western attire.

He was going to see them again.
