Part 21

Sanjeevani Mumbai, Heena's room 1pm Sept. 25, 2010:

Aman comes in a white chikan kurta and stone washed jeans with Heena's lunch and a present.

Heena seeing Aman-"Hello Dr.Aman"

Aman-"Yeh kya doctor doctor ki rat lagaye huyi ho. I'm just Aman for you"

Heena giggling-"Abhi toh doctor bhi ho"

Aman exasperated-"Fine, fine. Waise Gaya gaya tha, toh tumhare yeh liye le aaya" He handed over the present to Heena.

Heena as she opens her present-"Wow, sandalwod se bani Radha-Krishna ki statue."

Aman-"Because you always ask Lord Krishna for guidance, and Radha-Krishna I think symbolizes a complete universe"

Heena touched by Amaan's gesture-"Thanks Aman. It's really sweet of you. Tum kitna kuch jaante ho mere baare mein" Aman grinned at her thinking Heena tumhein sab ka khyaal hota hain siwai mere dil ke haal ka. Kya tumhe sahi mein nahin ehsas hai meri feelings ka? Krishna Bhagwaan aap hi is ladki ko thodi samajh dijiye, main toh thak jaata hoon hints de dekar, par isspar koi asar hi nahin hota! Main ab kya karoon? [Humein tumse hua hai pyar tune ]

Armaan along with Sid, and Yuvi came to see Heena.

Armaan-"Hi Heena. Tumhare yeh do pyare pyare interns ko tumse kuch kaam tha"

Heena puzzled-"Yes interns?"

Sid-"Woh Dr. Heena, humein aapse ek request thi"

Heena-"Go on.."

Yuvi-"Dr. Heena meri koi behan nahin hai, aur aap mein mujhe ek behan dikhti hai. Kya aap please mujhe rakhi bandh deingi?" Saying this Yuvi took out a rakhi.

Sid-"Dr. Heena mujhe bhi aap rakhi bandh deingi? Uss din aapke samajhane se aur aapke guidance se main kaafi seekha hoon."

Heena tried to hide her moist eyes. She was touched by her interns' gesture. So they have finally seen through my tough exterior that I genuinely care for their future. As she looked at Armaan , he nodded his head telling her to go for it.

After Heena finished tying her rakhis, Aman spoke to Sid.

Aman-"Hey Sid, kya tumhare paas ek spare rakhi hai kya?"

Sid-"Kyun aapko bhi Dr. Heena ko bandhna hai"

Hearing this Aman instantly cut Sid off-"No, no I mean I wanted Suvarna to tie one on me"

Listening to Aman, both Armaan and Heena started laughing along with Yuvi. Aman looked at Heena and Armaan with a deadly glare. Armaan bacchu haans le abhi. Tujhe toh main teri love story ki setting karne ke baad dekhta hoon. Aur Heena tum bhi? Jise biwi banana chahta hoon, uss se main rakhi kaise bandhwa loon. Heena ke interns sahi mein ekdam stupid hain. No wonder no one respects interns. They're a bunch of idiots!

Heena laughing-"Tum kabse behanein banana lage?"

Aman-"Kyun prohibited hai kya?"

Heena-"Nahin bas thoda unsual hai"

Aman-"Dekho ab agar tumhari interns mere saath flirt kareingi, toh tumhein gussa aayega ki interns itni junior hain, apni position ka khyaal karoon main. Toh maine socha ki agar rakhi bandhwa loon toh na rehegi baans, na bajegi bansuri? Aur tab chunki mujhe koi aur nahin mil sakti hai, toh main aaram se tumhare saath hi flirt karoonga!" Saying this, Aman gave a quick wink which only a flustered Heena saw.

Heena-"Waise abhi tum mere doctor ho. Aur doctors apne patients ke saath flirt nahin kar sakte. Hippocratic oath remember?"

Aman in a very dramatic way-"Iski ki kami thi. Iss Hippocratic oath ne meri vaat laga di. Bas yehin ek kasar thi!" Everyone started laughing at Aman's dramatics.

Armaan-"Accha Aman ab yeh nautanki band kar! Main chalta hoon apne chailon ke saath! Bye guys" Saying this Armaan left with Yuvi and Sid.

Amaan gets serious, and closes Heena's room. Heena looks at him puzzled.

Heena-"Door kyun band kiya?"

Aman-"Arrey don't worry. Main kuch aisa waisa nahin karoonga tumhare saath"

Heena-"Aman. Mujhe tum par bharosa hai idiot. Now tell me what's so secret?"

Aman-"Maine strategy bana li hai. Need your inputs though"

Heena-"Batao"

Aman in a low voice-"Listen the plan will have 2 phases. Phase 2 will start only after you are well. In the meantime we will do phase 1 both of us together."

Heena-"And what is phase 1?"

Aman-"Psychological game. Humein ehsas dilaana hai Sid ko uski marriage kuch lack kar rahi hai. Dekho iss triangle ko bas Sid hi tod sakta hai. Jab ussay ehsas hoga, toh who khud iss mess se nikalna chahega. So we need to play a mental game first. I know Heena it sounds really mean, but this is for the best of everyone"

Heena-"Aur phase 2 kya hai?"

Amaan whispers in her ears. Heena is shocked at what she hears.

Heena-"No you possible can't be serious"

Aman-"Heena I am. Bas yehi ek tareeka hai. This is the piece de resistance. The final blow"

Heena-"Oh God"

Aman-"Dekho Heena, we can't trust anyone but ourselves. Humein khud apne plan ko anjaam dena hoga. Nahin toh yeh flop ho jaayega. So you with me on this?"

Heena-"Haan, always."

Aman-"Humein jab bhi mauka milega hum apni psychological game implement kareinge."

Heena-"I'm just a little worried about Sid. Hope he has the maturity"

Aman-"He will get the maturity Heena. With time he will realize."

Coming up: Heena & Amaan start implementing their plan. Heena tries to look after her cases from bed rest!
