"knock-knock"

T he knocking at the door frightened Abhi . What if anyone caught him. Abhi immediately thought of an idea, he went to the door and hiding himself immediately open the door and hid himself against the wall and behind the door. He heard some footsteps, he just closed his eyes and started praying to God . He heard a voice and he opened his eyes, it was Sardarji

Sardarji: lelo, no one is here ,today no one can save my assistant from me ( angrily).

Abhi took a deep breath and cleverly without making any noise and hiding himself from Sardarji's eyes left the room. While Abhi was coming out from the room he found an angry Armaan heading towards the recording room. Abhi just vanished from the site while Armaan entered the recording room and got even more angry fiunding the same Sardarji in the room. Ammy just headed towards the Sardarji turned him with his left hand and gave him another tight punch. And this time he was not listening to Sardarji , after giving 2-3 punches to him and threatening him to stay away from Nikki, he left the poor Sardarji .

Nikki and all others were waiting for Armaan just then Abhi joined them and everyone started asking Abhi where he was all the time. Abhi replied that he was in the loo but Nikki and Riddhima were suspicious.

Rids: bhai, are you ok?

Abhi: ( hiding his face with his hand ): yeh.( he passed a smile)

Just then Ammy joined them he was in a very bad temper.

Nikki: Ammy where did you go and why are you looking so angry. What happened ?

Ammy: taught him a lesson .will never repeat it again.

Abhi: whom.

Ammy( looking in his eye) the person who was focusing on Nikki. That cameramen. Bloody creep.

Abhi: ( closing his eyes): poor Sardarji.

Atul: did you said something

Abhi: nothing( moving his head)

Anjali(lightening the mood): ok leave all this, lets enjoy.

Nikki was looking suspiciously at Abhi .Abhi saw her and wondered if she was suspicious, just then an announcement came for all the dancing partners to be on dance floor.

Atul: Anjali Anjali please ( put his hand forward)

Anjali passed him a smile and they went to the dance floor.Nikki , who had been noticing since a long time the sad look on Riddhima's face. Riddhima went to Armaan and stood near him but Ammy was still in a bad mood.

Ammy: you don't worry Nikki. I will look after all this,

Nikki: ya you will ,I know.but, who will look after Riddhima.

Ammy just looked at Riddhima'a face and he got what Nikki was saying

Ammy: shit.

Nikki: ask her for a dance before this situation gets worst.

Ammy passed a smile at Nikki and went to Riddhima and ask her hand for a dance.and together they went to the dance floor . Now Abhi and Nikki were left there.

Abhi came a bit closer to Nikki and stood quietly. Abhi was unable to say anything while Nikki was not ready to say anything .few minutes passed like that ,just then principle sir came to them ,he congratulated them for successful opening of the play, he was happy with them .After a little talk he asked them both to join the rest of the students on the dance floor . Nodding to sir Abhi asked Nikki for a dance and Nikki with no choice left gave him her hand and they went on the dance floor and all 3 couples started dancing.

Once the dance was over all were set to leave .Ammy planned on how to make up with Riddhima ,so he decided that he will drop her before any one troubled them. Armaan talked to Nikki and asked her to go with Anjali and to deal with her if she asked about Riddhima. While Nikki and Anjali were coming outside the party.

Anjali: where is Riddhima.

Nikki:(nervously)awwwwww she is coming .( siding her face and slowly cursing Armaan) Armaan..

Anjali: ok. Lets then let's wait for her.

That very moment a car stopped in front of them ,it was Atul, he came out of the car .

Anjali: Atul.

Atul: just a minute Anjali.

Atul just took Nikki with him aside from Anjali.Anjali found it weird.

Atul: Nikki ,please .

Nikki: please what Atul.

Atul: understand yaar.

Nikki( confused): understand what.

Atul: I want to drop Anjali.

Nikki: so drop her. In this what I need to understand.( saying this she was about to move towards Anjali,but Atul stoped her)

Atul: abe , Nikki I want to spend some time with her alone.

Nikki: toh.

Atul( widening his eyes): toh,understand na.

Nikki just got what he wants to say.

Nikki: ohhhhh.

Atul: toh, understood.

Nikki( acting): ya ya you are absolutely right.( Anjali heard her and join them in their conversation)

Anjali: what are both of you talking about from the last five minutes. Huh.

Atul and Nikki looked at each other.

Atul: woh Anjali I was saying that , you came to the party with me now you should go back with me only na.

Anjali: we are going with you only.

Atul: nahi woh ,I was saying that we two came alone ,now we should also go together na.

Anjali gave him a stern look .Atul got a bit scared.

Nikki who was standing near by started laughing .Atul just lowered his head .Nikki came to Anjali and asked her to go with Atul. First Anjali refused but then she saw Atul's face and agreed.

Anjali: ok. Now please lift your head.

Listening this Atul immediately raised his head and said.

Atul: really( excitingly).

Anjali( irritatingly) whats there to get so excited?( he walked towards the car)

Atul controlled his emotions.and followed Anjali ,but stopped mid way ,came back to Nikki and hugged her. And said thank you. Nikki passed him a smile.when Atul was starting the car. Anjali opened the window.

Anjali: Nikki , you two come safely with Armaan . Allright.

Nikki: ya you don't worry about that.

Nikki was now thinking that with whom she will go as all her friends had left. Just then a car stopped in front of her, it was Abhi .He came out of his car and asked Nikki to come inside the car. Nikki looked at him sternly and without saying anything just got inside the car. Abhi got surprised by her reaction . he started the car. Nikki was quiet in the car and without moving much she was sitting straight and with a calm expression on her face. Abhi was amazed at her and was confused wether to talk to her or not . After along stuggle with his mind Abhi was finally just about to open his mouth . Nikki started.

Nikki( looking straight) where were you in the whole party.

Abhi looked at her .

Nikki: tell me ( she looked at him)

Abhi was a bit scared by the way she was asking and he kept looking at him .

Nikki( irritatingly) answer me.

Abhi(hesitatingly) : ah . .. ah … who I was I was in the washroom.

Nikki( acussing him) : washroom haan.

Abhi: ya.

Nikki: for one hour.

Abhi got nervous what to answer now.

Abhi: oh who , I was not well.you know gastric disturbance.

Nikki: gastric disturbance oh ya.

Abhi got nervous the way Nikki was accusing him, maybe she knows that it was him singing for her.Abhi was now hiding his face from Nikki .Both were quiet for some time, then suddenly Nikki asked him to stop the car.

Nikki:stop the car.

Abhi immediately stopped the car.

Abhi: stop ,but why.

Before Abhi could ask her anything further.Nikki came out of car ,following her Abhi too came out. Without saying anything niki just stood in front of the car ,with her arms folded in front of her chest.

Abhi: why did you come out of the car like this.

Nikki(looking towards him): sing a song.

Abhi: what.

Nikki: are your ears working wel ? .can't you hear me properly ? why do I need to repeat everything.

Abhi: but why, why should I sing.

Nikki: because I am saying it.

Abhi: why , are you " dadi ma".

Nikki: dadi ma . aww just do as I say. All right.

Abhi( irritatingly): but why should I.

Nikki: that means.it was you who was singing in the party.

Abhi got nervous , what to say to her. she suspected him.shit! Abhi was having no words to say. he immediately opened his mouth.

Abhi: no.it was not me.( hiding his face)

Nikki: yes, it was you only.

Abhi: no.

Nikki: yes.

Abhi: no.

Nikki: yes.

Abhi:no.

Nikki: awwwww( got irritated badly)ok fine to prove that sing a song.

Abhi: what.

Nikki: again your pet dialogue huh.

Now don't waste my time and just sing a song.

Abhi: I don't know any song.

Nikki: what.

Abhi: now why you are saying what . it's my pet line na.

Nikki: you are so ridiculous.

Abhi: ridiculous. How dare you call me ridiculous, I will not leave you .

Nikki: oh shut up, just…….

Before Nikki could continue her phone gave a buzz,which brought a pause in their fight .she picked the call.it was her mom,juhi malhotra.

Juhi:Nikki when you will come home.

Nikki: ya mom ,just coming in half an hour.

Juhi: ok come soon beta.

Nikki: ok mom.

Nikki hangs up the phone Abhi had heard her conversation with her mom. And before she could say anything.

Abhi: let me just drop you home.

Abhi headed towards his car but Nikki held his hand and stopped him. Abhi turned and looked at her and their eyes locked.

Nikki: first you sing a song.

Abhi( irritatingly)yaar you started again.

Nikki( stood calmly): till the time you don'tsing , I will notlet you go.

Abhi: but I don't know any song.

Nikki: then sing a poem.

Abhi: poem.

Nikki: ya poem . A poem that you might have heard or learnt in childhood.

Abhi( irritatingly): I don't remember any.

Nikki got a bit frustrated by him now .she she was about to loose her patience.

Nikki: awwww. You are so stubborn .

Nikki moved inside the car and sat quietly.

Abhi just followed her and took his seat and started the car. During their whole journey there was complete silence in the car. None of the two was ready to open their mouth. Both kept on looking straight. They reached Nikki's house. Abhi just opened the loc, Nikki opened the car door and was just about to go outside but stopped .That surprised Abhi a bit

Nikk( giving him a stern look): I promise you , one day you will yourself commit that it was you .

Saying this she moved inside the house and Abhi smiled and left.

Armaan and Riddhima

Both were quite in the begning ,Riddhima was very upset with Armaan and didn't even look at him even once. Armaan knew that she was upset with him. He just stopped the car. rids didn't give any reaction to this, she was still in the same posture.Armaan looked at her

Ammy: Riddhima, I know you are upset with me but you know I am very protective towards Nikki.

Rids: Ammy you don't need to justify yourself I understand.

Rids was saying all this but she was upset from Ammy and he knew it. but he also knew how to make up with her

Ammy: you know I gave Sardarji two punches.( rids gave no reaction) you wont ask why.

Rids( in same tone): why.

Ammy:one for focusing on Nikki .And second for ….

Rids: for (looking at him).

Armaan: for taking away that beautifull smile from your face .

Rids looked at him and passed him a fake smile and again looked in front.

Ammy: I think one more punch was required for him.

Rids smiled a bit on it.

Ammy: actually, half now.

Her smile got bigger in size.she looked at him and gave him a bigger smile.

Ammy: beautifull.how about an ice cream now .

They went to an ice cream parlour and later Ammy dropped her home .Rids reached home and when she was going to her room she found Abhi in the kitchen and remembered that she need to talk to him. Abhi was making coffee for himself and was busy in that.

Rids( from back): one cup for me also

Abhi turned and looked at her and passed her a smile .

Abhi: in two minutes.Abhi and rids were having their coffee.

Rids: teri palkien jo jhuki.

Teri palkien jo uthi.

Hmmmmmmm ,hmmmmm.hehheee heeeeee.

Jadoo han jadoo.

Abhi got a bit nervous and rids noticed that.

Abhi: why are you singing that song.

Rids: just like that bhai.

Abhi: just like that.

Rids: by the way. Nikki was looking beautifull na today.

Abhi got nervous ,did she know that he had sang that song and that's why she was humming that song in front of him .to save himself from his little sister accusation he left for sleeping

Abhi: good night Riddhima.

Rids( smiled on his brother's reaction): good night bhai.

Abhi and Nikki

in basket ball ground.

Abhi is waiting for Nikki.

Abhi : I told this girl that we will practice alternative days .but still no news of her till now.

She is just so irresponsible. While Abhi was busy in cursing her, Nikki came from behind and patted him on his shoulder.Abhi turned to see her.

Abh(irritatingly): late again.

Nikki: I don't want to argue with you, lets start.

Abhi: ( thinking: first time she said some thing right): ya lets start ,today we will play as two teams now you need to apply all the tricks I taught you allright.

Nikki nodded her head and took the ball and started dribbling it.

Nikki( thinking: I just have to confirm from him that it was he who was singing the song, but how.)

Abhi: first you try to defend, try to keep the ball with you only.allright.

The ball was with Nikki ,she was dribbling it .Abhi came near her .Nikk'si back was towards Abhi. Nikki wasrepeatedly turning to look at him.

Abhi: ( while playing): one should always focus on the ball not on ones opponent.

Abhi took the ball from Nikki and she was unable to prevent it. Abhi did a basket. Abhi teased her.Nikki got a bit irritated.they started once again.

This time the ball was with Abhi .Nikki was approaching him , as soon as Nkki reached him ,he stoped. Nikki was slightly shocked .

Nikki: you cant hold the ball and stop. that is against rules.

Abhi: ya but one can basket .

Abhi from there only did the basket and crossed her.and teasde her again .Now Nikki was really frustrated,she couldnt let Modi win , she has to teach him a lesson,but how he is so good. Suddenly she got an idea. she open her hair and that amazed Abhi and then took the ball from him. Abhi was looking at her only

Nikki: shall we start.

Abhi focused on game.

Nikki moved to the basket by dribbling the ball. And reached Abhi .Abhi took the ball from her and was heading towards the basket but Nikki came in his way. He tried to save the ball from her ,while Abhi and niki were fighting with the ball suddenly Abhi looked once at Nikki 's face and her face captured his eye's. Abhi was dribblimg the ball but his eye's were on Nikki only. He was unable to take away his eye's from her. Nikki who was busy in some how getting the ball ,just glanced at Abhi and found him staring at her.Nikki looked at him and laughed a bit and taking full advantage of this chance just kept on smiling and looking at Abhi.Abhi also started smiling. Using the opportunity

Nikki: thank you sadu,( saying this she took the ball from his hands and did basket.

Nikki was happy, while Abhi snapped back from his thoughts and found that he had lost. Nikki started teasing him.

Nikki: I won I won.

Abhi: that's not fair.

Nikki: what's not fair.

Abhi: you cheated .

Nikki: oh ya what did I do.

Abhi: you…( Abhi was not able to say any thing ,he just realised )

Nikki:(looking straight in his eye's) everything is fair in love ( Abhi looked at her) war( gave her a stern look) and basket ball( she teased him)

Nikki smiled and saying this she was about to leave.Nikki turned and stepped ahead but Abhi held her hand( Nikki was surprised) and tuned her to him, Looking straight in her eyes, still holding her wrist behind her back. Nikki looked in his eye's. there was something entirely different in his way of looking his touch was different, the feel of him near was different ,the power of his presence was different .He was mesmerizing her, his hold was strong. he was looking at her without a blink and making it difficult for her to move her eye's away fom him .Her heart was beating faster with every second that passed.

Abhi:whats this?

No moment between the two.

Abhi: basket ball.( coming a bit closer to Nikki)

Nikki got a bit more nervous,.her heart was now on fire.

Abhi: war( making niki close to him)

Nikki heart stopped .she was not able to feel herself, the only thing she could feel was him. There was now only an inch distance between the two.

Abhi( with a spark in his eyes,pasing his sight from her eyes to her lips and then again to her eye's): or L…….

Before Abhi could say anything, Nikki turned away from him and started stammering. Her body was shivering, it was like something was stuck in her throat. before Abhi could say anything and was about to come close to her. She turned back and asked him to be on time for rehersals and left. Abhi just stood there remebered their closeness. And a smile came to his face by it self.

Armaan Atul Anjali and Riddhima in classroom.

They were all sitting in a group and were discussing about the last night party.. a girl came up and told Riddhima and Armaan that rupa ma'am was calling them .They both were a bit surprised as to why ma'am wanted to meet them .they went to ma'am and after fifteen minutes returned and told Atul and Anjali that ma'am had ordered them to be the narrator of the play. They all were very happy.

Anjali: wow rids. nice opportunity for you.

Atul: ya ,Ammy I am already in the stage department and Anjali is in costume and now you two are also part of it. Awesome . All of us together , we are gonna have fun.

Rids and Ammy glanced at each other and smiled.

Ammy: lets go and tell this to Nikki. She will be very happy.

Rids: bhai will also be very happy.

All left for the rehearsals hall.

In the rehearsal hall.

Nikki was already present there checking all the work and lost in her thoughts. Physically she was doing work making the necessary arrangements, but in her thoughts only one thing was making the most important presence." Mr sadu"

She was stilllost in thoughts of his strong arms,the feel was just different .She never felt like this before,eventhough she had been around many boys before.

The way he was looking at her, she could see a totally different passion towards her.eyes full of intensity.the way he was scrolling his eyes from one feature of her face to another.his gaze was making her feel new sensation which she had been totally unaware of before, without her permission some one was touching her.and that touch was mesmerizing her like never before. the touch was of sadu whom she couldn't stand, then why she was not able to say anything when she was in his grip, did she like it?..... The way he was holding her hand it was hard ,but why didn't she feel any pain , …...and those words , basket ball, war and lo….v.

Nikki immediately came out from her thought like some one had woken up from a long coma." No………" every one was shocked to see that and were giving stern looks for her behavior.Nikki controlled her self and passed an apologetic smile to every one.and again everyone got busy in their work. she hit her head for her stupidity and turned to do some work then thinking of mr sadu. but how she can when mr sadu is present. she turned and Abhi was standing right in front of her.again with that stern smile which Nikki didn't like that much ,moreover it was irritating her.

Abhi kept on giving that charming look to Nikki and Nikki was not knowing how to respond to that. after giving a weird smile to Abhi .She just picked some pages kept on the near by table and started narrating that to Abhi. She conciously maintained some distance between her and Abhi. and then looking straight at the pages she just kept reading them without pauset. Now since all the dance practice is done its important that we focus on our dialogue its just 10 more days left for the play. Abhi was staring at her and read from her attitude that she was avoiding meeting his eyes. Abhi was silently and with a small smile on his face constantly looking at her only.

Nikki:" after they argue on their first meeting and then some days of continuous fighting rahul and Anjali, just hate each other. There will be two two dance performances on this … on song : khud ko kya samajhti hai.. But once rahul saves Anjali from the goons andBoth feelt some thing for each other. Song here would be" is this love', first from rahul's side then song from Anjali side would be chalte chalte ( girl version )of mohobattien .and then once they started liking each other here we will have the kuch kuch hota dance sequence on them . Then some misunderstanding will come between them and then…..

Before Nikki could proceed further she just heard Abhi laughin slowly at her . she raised her head and looked at him and finding no reason for his smile she was unable to stop her self from asking him.

Nikki: what happened , why are you laughing. Han?

Abhi: ( after controlling his smile): are you a shahrukh fan.

Nikki looked at him weirdly , ya I am . A big one( she stressed on it) why.

Abhi: nothing( controlling his laughter)

Nikki: ( serious) no first answer me.

Abhi: I said na leave it.

Nikki looked at him and asked him from her eyes.

Abhi: nothing .phew. Ok I am sure it would be your idea for the name .

Nikki: y a it is . so

Abhi: nothing you are just another stupid and crazy fan of srk. who loves to feel his presence by copying the names of his movies and scenes.

Befor Abhi could continue. Niki yelled at him

Nikki: how dare u say that .

Yes I like srk . and I had copied it . so .

He is damn good and so are his movies , he is the king of romance and kajol and his pair of rahul and Anjali always rocks and he is a very good actor and person .not some one like you

Abhi: oh please . I mean yes kajol is indeed a good actress but that srk …. Not at all.

Nikki: ( anger): how dare you sadu . srk is my favourite and I can't listen anything against him.not from any one. Not from a loser like you . allright

Loser, that word hit him

Abhi( loosing his temper): loser. How dare you . no one talk to Dr………….M………

Abhi stops mid way before completing . Abhi just lowered his eyes.

Nikki: what what was that … Dr . huh.listen yo u have not completed your course .and waise bhi you are not a doctor .

That hurt Abhi reminding him all that had happened with him .Abhi's punishment, his anger and sadness both were there in his eyes.

He looked at Nikki.

Abhi: you know I had started liking you from past few days but now ….you hurt me a lot. And proved that what I was thinking about us is …………. impossible.

Saying this Abhi leaves, these words of Abhi hurt Nikki badly , tears came to her eyes .she regreted thinking those beautifull thought for him .

While all this was going on , Armaan rids and Anjali and Atul were just entering the hall and saw every thing . Knowing that Abhi was hurt badly, rids and Anjali followed their bhai.
