This scene is dedicated to my jalebo sanju (especially the long wet hair bit) (look at DM sleeping isn't he adorable 🤗)

It middle of the night and DM cannot get to sleep, he tosses and turns and finally decides to sit up (sat on the bed, legs touching the floor) he is breathing is heavy as he is frustrated. Santo is half asleep and turns around; her eyes open a little bit and catch a glimpse of DM sitting up. She opens her eyes more and wakes up, she goes behind DM puts her arms around his neck and asks

Santo: "what's up?" DM just stays quiet

Santo: "Malik?"

DM: "nothing, just cannot get sleep, you don't worry you go to sleep"

Santo: "Wait i will go and get you some water"

She exits the room and few minutes later comes back with a glass of water, DM still sat on the bed. She approaches him

Santo: "here you go malik"

DM takes the glass takes a few sips and gives the glass back to Santo, who puts it on the table beside them. DM then lies back on the bed and closes his eyes. Santo sits beside him, she holds his hand

and brushes her hand through his hair over and over (like you would put a child to sleep). DM feels better and slowly..............................................................................falls asleep. Santo sees DM has gone to sleep, gets up and goes to other side of bed and goes sleep.................

she smiles, she gets off the bed touches his feet and then picks up the pillow and then puts his head back on it.

She then goes and has a shower, she is drying her hair and flicks her hair from one side to another, which causes some water drops to fall on DMs face, his eye flinch and then moves from lying straight to his side

He is now awake(still lying on his side) and he is looking lovingly at his santudi who is drying her hair, santo turns around, but DM quickly closes his eyes. Santo looks at him and smiles (he looks so cute asleep) she does not know he is awake, she approaches him and tries to wake him up, she firstly waves her long beautiful hair against his face (DM does not move), then she slowly and softly kisses him on his cheek (DM does not move) she then looks at him thinking why is he not getting up. Santo then open his eyes with her hands and when lets go DM's eye shut, she pinches his arm, tries to tickle him, she pulls out one of his hair, she slowly bites his ear, but still DM does not move an inch. She then shakes him "Malik get up...Malik please, stop messing please". DM does not respond.

Santo is now worried and turns around and shouts "Baa, Malik is not.." DM quickly grabs her hand and pulls her towards him causing her to fall on him (both on bed) and puts his hand over her mouth. (EYELOCK) Santo is shocked and surprised to see DM awake but is relieved.

DM: "aray chup kar daffor" he then slowly removes his hand from her mouth.

Santo: "why weren't you getting up"

DM: "I was wake"

Santo: "No you weren't I was....(stops and thinks OMG Malik was acting that he was asleep)

DM(raises his eyebrows): "Su?, bol na, see thats why i call you a daffor"

She smiles and hugs him, DM puts his arm around her (while lying on top of him on the bed)

Baa knocks on the door: "Santo beta did you call me?"

DM: "oh great", Santo quickly gets off DM and DM quickly jumps off the bed and runs into the shower.

Santo opens the door and see baa standing there

Baa: "did you call me is everything alright?"

Santo (feeling embarrassed): "haan everything is okay.... its just that erm haan i was looking for something but could not find it then i shouted you because i though you might have known where it is, but then I found it". Santo smiles at Baa

Baa smiles: "okay, be quick and come downstairs, you have to make DM breakfast yet"

Santo: "Ji baa"

Baa walks away Santo sighs in relief thinking that was close and says to herself Malik bhi na.....
