Part 12

Next day…Riddhima, Jay, Abhay, Armaan and Riddhima's mom had left to go shopping early in the morning…they all had entered the shopping mall…riddhima and her mom had gone to the womens section of the shop…whereas the boys had gone to the mens section…
Riddhima: so mama…what shud we buy…
R.mom: mmm…hav you got your outfit for the wedding???...
Riddhima: nope…but I want to wear something blue or green…
R.mom: ok…excuse me…app hume kuch ache…blue ya green lehenga cholis dikhaye please…
And the salesmen started to show them some outfits…

Riddhima had finally chosen her outfit…and then helped her mom choose her…then they both made it to the mens section...where Jay, Abhay and Armaan were…riddhima went to jay…
Riddhima: jay….wheres Abhay???
Jay: in the changing room…checking out his sherwani…
And jus then Abhay came out wearing it…
Riddhima: nice…
Abhay: thanks…it good na…
Riddhima: yeh…bhahbi ne chuna kya…(she teased)…
Abhay: riddhi…(he sed smiling)
Riddhima: awww…hes blushing!!!!!!...
And they all laughed…
Riddhima: guys….where armaan???...
Abhay: he over there…selecting a kurta…he sed suming about u making him wear his mehendi kurta yesterday…suming lyk that….
Riddhima: oh yh…i think I shud go help him…
Abhay: yh…
Riddhima went to armaan…

Riddhima: hey…
Armaan: hey…
He sed while looking at a few kurtas…he looked blankly at then because he didn't know which one to choose…riddhima looked at him
Riddhima: want some help???
Armaan: yh that will be gr8…which do you think will look good on me in the mehendi…red or blue…
Riddhima: none…
Armaan: huh???...ok…what about dark green and black….
Riddhima: nope...i dnt think u shud wear black on a good day…and dark green…good…but I dnt think you shud wear it…
Armaan: ok..so….what do you think…I shud wear…
Riddhima: emmm….
She looked thru the kurtas…
Riddhima: this…I think you shud wear white…good for the occasion…plus u will look gr8…
Armaan: ok…white it is…(he smiled)…isse pack kardijye plz
The salesman took the kurta…
Riddhima: (to herself)…shud u buy suming for rahul of not...
Armaan: huh…
Riddhima: nutin…jus thinking if I shud buy something for rahul…he sed that he doesn't want anything….but i think that Im gna buy something anyhow…
Armaan: kl…I will help…
Riddhima: ok..
And they selected some shirts and kurtas for rahul and got then packed…
Riddhima: have you got what ur gna wear for wedding…
Armaan: yep…di..sed she has selected sumfin for me…
Riddhima: oki…lets go to Abhay…
Armaan: yh…have u got ur outfit…
Riddhima: yep…
Armaan: kl..what u wearing…
Riddhima: u will see on the wedding day…
She winked at him and went to jay…armaan smiled and went with her…
The shopping was done and they all left to go home…

It was the day of the mehendi/ haldi/ sangeet…both the girls and guys side met together in one house…one by one they all went to the bride and groom and put haldi on them….riddhima had got the haldi in her hand and went to Abhay…
Riddhima: where shud I put it…face or arm???
Abhay: arm…
Riddhima: face it is…(she smiled)
And she spread the haldi over his face…
Abhay: thanks (he sed sarcastically)
Riddhima: your welcome (she sed wiv a cheeky smile)
Riddhima then went to sara…
Riddhima: bhabhi…where???
Sara: arm plz…
Riddhima: ok…(she sed wiv a smiled)
And she spread the haldi on her arm….abhay looked at her…and gave a 'your so evil' look…riddhima jus smiled at him…and then went and stood next to armaan to watch the ceremony…
Riddhima: why does the haldi smel lyk flowers???
Armaan: I think its cos they did added a mixture of rose into it…
Riddhima: mmm….smells nice…
Armaan: yh…do you want some on your face…
Riddhima: huh???
And she saw the haldi in his hands…
Riddhima: armaan…no…
Armaan: (smiling)…u sed u lyk the smell of it…
Riddhima: armaan…no…
And armaan moved his hand closer to her…
Riddhima: ahh…
And she quickly ran away…wiv Armaan chasing her…riddhima hid behind her mom…
Riddhima: mom…save me…
R.mom: huh kis se…
And jus then armaan came…and they both were running around her mom…
Riddhima: armaan se…
R.mom: kyun…
Riddhima: he want to put haldi on me…
R.mom: reli....armaan???...
Armaan stopped running around her…and riddhima stopped too and smiled at him…
Armaan: ji aunty…
R.mom: is this tru…
Armaan: ji aunty…
R.mom: (smiling)…muje batana tha…
And her turned around to riddhima and spread some of the haldi on her face…
Riddhima: mama!!!!
Armaan and riddhima mom started to laugh…and armaan went to her and put some haldi on her face too…and winked at her…
Riddhima stood there with her mouth open…she had jus let her mom and armaan put haldi on her face…(she had to digest that)…she looked at armaan smiling…
Riddhima: armaan…
Armaan jus realised what she was gna go…
Armaan: riddhima..no…
Riddhima: yes…armaan…
Armaan moved behing riddhima mom…
Riddhima: mom…
R.mom: ek min…
And she stood next to armaan…having him in between her and riddhima…and they both put haldi on his face…
R.mom: u guys continue…I have some work…
Riddhima's mom left…armaan and riddhima looked at eachother and smiled…

After the haldi…iwas the mehendi…riddhima had gotten changed and came down and sat down wiv the other girls to put mehendi on…a woman started to put mehendi on her hands…jay and armaan came and sat down with them…and looked at the mehendi…
Riddhima: what???...do u wanna wear mehendhi???
Jay and Armaan looked at eachother…
Jay: nahhh....
Armaan: ok…
Riddhima and Jay looked at armaan…
Both: what!!!
Riddhima: are you serious???
Armaan: yh…but nutin big…jus a lil design on my wrist…
Riddhima: reli???
Armaan: reli…
Armaan put out his wrist and a woman was jus about to put mehendi on him….
Riddhima: wait…
The woman stopped…
Riddhima: armaan…do you reli want mehendi on wrist…
Armaan: yh…
Riddhima: ok…im gna do it then…
Armaan: ok…
Armaan put out his wrist…and riddhima held the mehendi cone in her free hand…
Riddhima: keep ur hand still…cos I cant hold it…(she showed him her other hand full of mehendi)
Armaan: oki…(he smile)
Armaan kept his wrist still while riddhima did a henna pattern on it….
Riddhima: done…
Armaan looked at his wrist…riddhima had written his name with a heart next to him…he smiled…
Armaan: thanks…ur not to bad with henna…
Riddhima: thanks…
The mehendi continued…along with some dancing…riddhima was finished with her mehendi and was waiting for it to dry…Jay went to her, with her phone in his hand
Jay: hey…its rahul…
Riddhima: rahul!!!..(she smiled)….can hold it for me…
Jay had held the phone next to riddhimas ear…
Riddhima: hi rahul!!!!.../…u ok…/….good...and hows aunty???.../….kl…/….nah today is the haldi. mehendi and sangeet…/…of course I miss you yaar….btw I got sumin for you…/…yes I did…so tough…/… yh I got mehendi in my hands…that why im not holding the phone…
And jus then jay took the phone away from her ears…
Riddhima: jay…
Jay: hi rahul…see…riddhi will call you 2moro…/….yh I dnt wanna hold the phone for her…/…ok…bye…
And he put the phone down…
Jay: ur gna call him 2moro…
Riddhima: I heard…
And the party continued…riddhima sat down watching the dancing…

Armaan was watching the ceremony and saw riddhima sitting their bored…neha walked passed him…
Armaan: neha???...
Neha: yh armaan…
Armaan: do you lyk to dance???...
Neha: yep…
Armaan: kl…go and call ur di to dance with you…
Neha looked at riddhima…and smiled at armaan
Neha: oki armaan…
Armaan: thanks sweety…
Neha: its ok…
And neha went to riddhima and dragged her into the dance floor….riddhima had no other choice as neha asked her too…so she started to dance…
Armaan stood there watching her dance with neha….he smiled....

Part 13

The day went by and the haldi/ mehendi/ sangeet was over…evry1 had so much fun…now it was tym for every1 to leave to go home…
Abhay was looking at Sara's hands trying to find his name…riddhima had gotten changed…her mehendi was dry so she took it off…she came downstairs and saw Abhay still looking for his name…
Riddhima: Abhay…ur still looking for ur name…yaar…let her go home and sleep…then look for ur name 2moro…
Abhay: riddhi…no…gta find my name…u come and help me…then she can go home…
And he smiled at Sara….
Riddhima: ok…
She sat down in front of her hands….and started to look…after a few mins…she finally found it…she looked at Sara and smiled…and then looked at Abhay…who was still looking…
Riddhima: bro…I give up…u can look your self…
She went to Sara…
Riddhima: bhabhi…nice place to put it…
Sara smiled…
Riddhima got up and went to the kitchen…she saw her mom making sumin…and armaan still on the table counter….
Riddhima: hi mom…kya kar rahen ho…
R.mom: preparing sweets for sara…
Riddhima: ooo…yummy…save one for me…(she smiled)…and ya good idea….she mite need one now…bhai is stil looking for his name…
R.mom: I know…(she laughed)…
Riddhima: and you…mr armaan…what are u doin here…
Armaan jumped off the table counter in front of riddhima…making her flinch back…
Armaan: nothing…waiting for aunty to finishe her sweets so I can have one…(he smiled)…u???
Riddhima: ok…im here for some water…
Armaan went to the fridge and got a bottle of water out…and poured and water out in a cup for her…
Armaan: here you go…
Riddhima: thanks…but u know I cud have done that myself…
Armaan: I know…but if u expose ur hands to too much water then the colour of ur mehendi wont come out dark…
Riddhima: oh yh…thanks
And she drank the water…
Riddhima: u know what…bhabhi has out abhays name in such an obvious place…and he cant see it…
Armaan: I know…he has been there for hours...
They all laughed…
R.mom: done…
Riddhima and armaan: done!!!...(they sed excitedly)..
And they took a sweet from the plate and ate it…
Riddhima: lovely…
Armaan: fantastic aunty…love them…
R.mom: thanks beta…I will make you some more later..
Armaan: ok…
They went to the main room…where Abhay was still looking for his name…after an hour he had finally found it…then Armaan and

Riddhima confessed that they knew where it was…riddhima had gone outside for a bit…and sat down on the stairs…
Armaan: hey….having fun…
Riddhima turned around and saw armaan…
Riddhima: yh…its fun..(she laughed)…
Armaan came and sat next to her…
Armaan: u ok…
Riddhima: yh…im fine…
Armaan: missing home…
Riddhima: yh…jus missing my friends…
Armaan: think of this…you have 2 weeks left and u will be back home with them…
Riddhima: yh…
They both talked for a while and then went inside to go sleep

Riddhima had put the kids to sleep…but she was unable to sleep…so she got her book and went to sit down on the balcony....she started to read it…and jus then armaan came out with his laptop on his balcony…they smiled at eachother saying hi…armaan put his thumb up asking if riddhima was ok…riddhima smiled and nodded her head…and then she pointed inside saying that the kids have gna sleep…and then pointed at her book saying that she is reading…armaan smiled..and then called her…riddhima gave a 'why?' expression…and armaan called her agen…riddhima got up and when to him…
Riddhima: what happened? (she whispered)…and why are you up so late
Armaan got up and told her to sit in her seat…
Armaan: I cudnt sleep…neways ur missin your friends rite???
Riddhima: yh…
Armaan: well I got msn on this…so u can chat to ur friends…
Riddhima: but…
Armaan: riddhima…its almost 4am…which means it is 9am in London…so ppl will be awake…go on..and talk…
He took the book form her hands…and faced his laptop to her…
Armaan: here you go…
Riddhima looked at armaan….
Riddhima: thanks…
Armaan: no problem…

A week went by…and now there were only 2 days left before the wedding…evry1 were busy wiv the preperations for the wedding…besides armaan, riddhima, jay, Abhay, and the kids…
Riddhima: guys…this is boring…I have been in india for 2 weeks now and u guys havent taken me anywhere…u guys know that im gna be goin back in 5days…ok dnt care about me…but at least think about armaan…he's probably bored to death…
Armaan: no im not…
Riddhima: shhh armaan…dnt listen to him…he is bored…guys take us somewhere…
Jay: shopping…
Riddhima: no somewhere else…we've done a lot of shopping…
Abhay: ok…ok…I got a solution…
Riddhima: what…
Abhay: 2day we will go to watch a movie…and 2moro we will have a family picnic…
Riddhima: kl…but…problem…
Abhay: what problem…
Riddhima: ur wedding is in 2day…how are u gna get evry1 to come for a picnic…
Abhay: easy…jay is gna take you guys and the kids to a movie…im gna stay at home and help out wiv the preperations…so it will end by 2nite….and then we will drag evry1 to picnic…
Riddhima: that will work…and when we come back I will help out…
Abhay: ok…u guys go…and ya dnt watch anything that is horror or has a lot of violence…u have the kids wiv ya…
Riddhima: dnt worry…we wont…
Abhay: ok…have fun…bye…
Riddhima: bye…
They all left to go to the cinema…

They reached the cinema…
Riddhima: what film shud we watch…
Armaan: I dnt care…any….
He went to neha…
Armaan: what film do you want to watch???...
Neha: emm…di…you can choose…
Riddhima: neha…armaans rite…u choose which one…
Neha: emm…how about kismet connection…it's the only film that doesn't have violence…
Riddhima: ok…
Jay and riddhima got the tickets and went to the screen in which the film was running…
Armaan and riddhima had gotten some popcorn and drink for evry1…while jay was inside wiv the kids…they went inside and gave the the kids popcorn to share between 2…and gave jay him…and sat down…
Armaan: didn't u wanna eat some popcorn
Riddhima: nah….its ok…I dnt feel lyk it…
Armaan: ok….but if ya do…take some from mine…
Riddhima: ok…
The movie had started…
Then the movie ended and they all went home…
Jay: were back…
Abhay: kl…how was the movie…
Jay: good…
Abhay: kl…
Riddhima: ok…so what do you want help with…
Abhay: nothing…
Riddhima: nothing???....why???
Abhay: evryfin is done…
Riddhima: reli??
Abhay: yh…so 2moro…picnic…
Riddhima smiled…

11am…Riddhima came down to the main room where she saw evry1…armaans whole family besides sara…and her whole family…she sed hello to evry1…
Riddhima: ready mom
R.mom: haan…bas abhay aur jay ko anedo…
Jus then abhay and jay came downstairs…and sed hi's and hello's…and started to make there way to the cars…abhay was looking for sara…riddhima noticed…
Riddhima: looking for bhabhi???...(she smiled cheekily)
Abhay looked at her and didn't say a word…
Riddhima: bhabhi nahi ayi hai…
Abhay: kyun
Riddhima: kyunki…shaadi se pehle ladka aur ladki mil nahi sakte
Abhay: kya…(he sed wiv irritation)
Riddhima: haan…neways bro…after 30 hours u can see bhabhi for the rest of ur life....jus not 2day…
Abhay looked at riddhima…while riddhima smiled…
Riddhima: ab chale…
Abhay: chalo…
Riddhima left to go outsider…
Abhay: 30 hours…(he sighed and left too)

They all reached the park…and riddhimas mom and armaans mom started to make some sandwiches and give food out to eat…riddhima helped the kids eat their food…while armaan had wondered off somewhere….evry1 talked while sitting down and enjoying the picnic…then all the youngsters decided to play cricket. Abhay, jay and some of the adults decided to join them…jus then armaan came…
Abhay: armaan…where did you go…
Armaan: jus went for a walk…
Jay: kl…u ready for a game of cricket…
Armaan: cricket??? (making a surprised face)
R.mom: beta…bichare ko khane bhi do na…
Armaan: aunty…muje abhi khana nahi hai…baad mein khalunga…
R.mom: u sure beta…
Armaan: ji aunty
Jay: so ur up for a game…
Armaan: emmm jay…i....ddd (trying to tell him that he doesn't play cricket)
Jay: so that's a yes…chal…
Jay left to join the others
Armaan: come armaan…lets play cricket...(he sed excitedly….but it was total sarcasm)
Riddhima: have fun playing...my family is quiet competitive so jus b careful…
Armaan: aren't u playing…
Riddhima: nah…im gna relax by the tree over there and watch…enjoy…(she flashed a smile at him and started to walk to the tree)
Armaan: I wish I cud do that instead of playing cricket…chal armaan…
And he went to the others

The game had begun…armaan was on abhays team…the game was goin fine…armaan was getting used to fielding…catching the ball was easy for him….but then it was his turn to bat…armaan held the bat and looked at it in a sad way…abhay came to him…
Abhay: armaan…jay is gna be bowling…now he is the best bowler in our entire family and will probably throw a fast ball at you…or twist the ball…so jus focus…
Armaan: ok jiju…
Abhay: aur haan…if you dnt hit the ball…then no problem…(he smiled)
Armaan: (smiling) ok…
Armaan: armaan…u can do it…so what if u have never played cricket before…so what if this is not ur kind of game…jus relax and try hit the ball…

Riddhima was watching the game…while drawing sumfin…she saw that jay was gna be bowling
Riddhima: he is so not gna hit the ball…

Jay was bowling…he threw a fast ball at armaan…and armaan hit it…riddhima looked at the ball go in the air with her mouth open in shock
Riddhima: oh my god…he hit the ball!!!!
Evry1 was surprised that armaan had hit the ball...so was armaan…
Armaan: not bad armaan…u hit the ball…
He jus stood there smiling instead of running…abhay noticed…
Abhay: ARMAAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Armaan looked at abhay…
Armaan: what???
Abhay: RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Armaan had jus realized that he was supposed to run..
Armaan: oh damn!!!...
And he started to run….riddhima jus started to laugh…
