Part 3

Sukirti forcefully pushed Karan away thinking he is never going to get away this easily.

"NO", cried Sukirti, placing her hand on her lips. She didn't think she would let him get that far. Karan hugged Sukirti like she had said nothing and she had enjoyed him.

"I said no Karan, leave me", she tried getting away from him again.

Karan let go of her this time and didn't do anything more than smiling. He knew he was an important part of Sukirti's life and he wanted to show her that he felt the same way.

"Please Karan I'm begging you don't do this to me right now, don't make it easy for me to forgive you", tears rolled down her cheeks and she kept wiping them away but it kept coming.

"I know I've hurt you, but I still love you and I can't stand the fact that I haven't done everything in my power to make you realize that I'm sorry", saying this Karan walked up the stairs. Sukirti started bawling and fell to the floor, unconscious. Ten minutes later she slowly opened her eyes to find Shilpa and Karan in front of her eyes, looking concerned.

"I came back to ask you some questions about Mr. Khanna, and found you there unconscious, so I brought you here", said Karan before giving Sukirti the chance to question on how she got there.

"Are you feeling better now Sukku?" asked Shilpa putting her hands on Sukirti's shoulder.

"Don't call me that", replied Sukirti in a furious voice pushing away Shilpa's hand from her shoulder. She tried getting up from the bed she was laying on. Shilpa helped Sukirti up and this time Sukirti didn't hesitate. Sukirti saw Shilpa turning to Karan and giving him a sweet smile. She felt atrocious seeing them like that. If she had asked herself what she thought of them 4 months ago she wouldn't have atrocious in her dictionary. They were the best things she could have ever had.

Flashback

"Sukku which dress is better?" asked Shilpa showing a blue and black dress to Sukirti.

"I like the black one best", she answered and quickly turned her attention towards her laptop. Shilpa rolled her eyes, and snatched the laptop away from her. Sukirti stood up from her bed and walked to her closet that had Shilpa's clothes on one side and hers on the other.

"Why is this here?" Sukirti turned to face Shilpa and she saw the biggest grin on her face. "No, Shippu, you must be kidding me, no way I'm going to wear this", finished off Sukirti throwing the red dress on Shilpa's bed. Then she took a back and white salwar- kameez and closed the closet.

"No, you're wearing this and that's that'' and plus Karan won't be able to take his eyes off of you", she gave out a small chuckle.

"Come on Shippu, I don't want to wear this", Sukirti tried getting away from the situation.

"If you love me you'll wear this today", insisted Shilpa placing the red dress on Sukirti's hand.

Sukirti gave up, no one could win Shilpa. She took the dress with her and entered the bathroom to change. Shilpa changed in the room and went downstairs to eat breakfast. She made the coffee and took couple of eggs out of the fridge to make an omelet. After 10 minutes or so breakfast was ready and she called out Sukirti.

"Sukku, come on, I want to see how you look like", yelled out Shilpa sitting down on her chair.

"I have a very bad feeling about this", Sukirti yelled back.

Shilpa smiled to herself, being proud of her self.

Sukirti showed herself to Shilpa a few minutes later. Wearing a red dress that went up to her knees and having a heel on that was 2 inches long. She walked down the stairs feeling a little uncomfortable, even in front of her best friend.

"Just give me your best pose", said Shilpa imitating to take pictures of Sukirti.

Sukirti joined in and gave some cute poses. They kept on laughing and joking till they got out of the car in front of Sanjeevani's hospital.

"Are you sure I look alright?" Sukirti asked for the tenth time.

"You just don't look alright you look amazing", Shilpa answered Sukirti in a simple voice. She followed Sukirti inside and kept repeating herself saying that Sukirti looks great and not to be so self- conscious. Shilpa and Sukirti reached to the locker room and opened each of their lockers.

They heard a whistle and Shilpa turned around to find Mayank staring at her. She smiled a little trying not to show her excitement to find her plan successful.

"Stop giving her the eye", Karan told Mayank passing him by and sitting on the bench which was in front of Sukirti's locker.

"What eye are you talking about?" Mayank defended himself.

"Do you want to ask Drashti what I'm talking about?" asked Karan pointing to Drashti.

Mayank then didn't say anything; and all of his friends started laughing hysterically seeing Mayank's expression.

"Don't you think Sukku looks good"? Shilpa questioned Karan exchanging looks from Sukirti to him. Karan gave Shilpa a thumb's up.

"I think my soniyo looks very hot", he answered Shilpa's question. Then he looked at Sukirti and saw her blush. "Oyye hoyye", said Karan and pecked Sukirti on her cheek.
