After a few hours later, Bharti reached Men's Universe. when she reached outside Mahi's cabin,she was shocked to hear loud noises and she saw several people gathered outsdie Mahi's cabin.

Bharti:What's going on??Don't you all have work to do??(everyone dispersed)Aur tum Raj??Kya chal raha hai??

Raj:Looks like some brain-storming..

Bharti:What?

Raj:Brain-storming..Mahi and Sonali storming each other's brains..

Bharti:And we're watching..Get inside..(went inside Mahi's cabin and parted Mahi and Sonali)

Raj:Ok,what's happening between you two??

Mahi:She's the one who registered me in that irritating matrimonial crap..Against my will..

Bharti:(looked at Sonali and then at Mahi)So have you terminated your account??

Bharti was shocked for a second. She recalled about her conversation with Payal and she quietly moved away but Raj held her hand.

Raj:Heyy where are you going?

Bharti:Nothing..

Raj:You sound pretty dull...

Bharti:Aisi koi baat nahin hai..

Raj:Toh phir kaisi baat hai my dear dost??

Bharti:Raj,please...Leave my hand na..

Raj:Sure...

Bharti:Actually...khayr...(went to her cabin and Raj followed her to her cabin)

Bharti saw him entering her cabin.

Bharti:Kya hai?

Raj:Kuch nahin...

Bharti:Kya kuch nahin?

Bharti:Dekho tum...Jenny??

Raj:Jenny??(turns around)Hi gorgeous...

Jenny:Bharti..there's a parcel for you...

Bharti and Raj opened the large plastic bag but they were finding it difficult to do so and both tried to pull the plastic bag from each side and both of them fell on the floor on opoosite sides and the plastic bag tore,letting out tonnes of cards.

Raj:Yeh sab kya hai?

Bharti:Khol kar dekh...

Raj:Have a great coffee date with Armaan..All the best!!

Bharti:Arrgghhh!!!!!!

Raj:What's going on Bharti?

Bharti narrated whatever that has been happening since morning till now.

Raj:So that's what's making you dull..Come here...(hugs Bharti)

Bharti:Thanks Raj...You're a really sweet friend!!

Raj:Come,get up...

Bharti and Raj got up and just then,they turned around to see Armaan and Payal.

Raj:I"ll go off first,k??

Bharti:Raj,stay for a while,please..

Raj:I'll wait for you outside..

Bharti:Raj,please...Give me 2 minutes..

Bharti packed her bag and turned to leave.

Payal:Bharti,can I talk to you??I won't take much of your time...I'm really sorry!!

Bharti:Ho gaya??Excuse me...(left her cabin)

Armaan stopped her from leaving.

Armaan:Bharti...

Bharti:Not..one..word!!!(takes off his hand from her's and left promptly) Raj,will you drop me home??

Raj:Sure,come...

Raj was feeling extremely horrible for Bharti.He could very well see that Bharti was trying her best to smile despite the tears which were fighting to come out of her eyes.He wanted to cheer her up but he couldn't.He was also in a melancholic mood this evening and he just felt like going for a drink but he didn;t know if Bharti would even want to come with him.

Bharti:Raj,you ok?

Raj:Yeah..a lil...

Bharti:Heyy,can you just bring me out for some time...I feel like going for a drink...

Raj:You sure??

Bharti:Yeah..i can't go and meet Naina right now...I just feel so crap...Nowadays she tends to find out when i'm sad and i don't wish to lie to her...

Raj:Okay,come...

Raj ordered 2 bottles of red wine.He was quite surprised when Bharti had actually suggested going for a drink. He saw Bharti having seated at the corner of the pub but her mind was somewhere else.

Raj:Come on now,don't brood over this..You can't say that your friends mean to harm you..

Bharti:I don't know yaar...Nowadays even when I'm surrounded by so many friends,I still feel alone...Sometimes I just feel like..

Raj:Bharti...(not knowing how to console her)

Bharti:Just feel like leaving everything and going somewhere very,very far and starting life anew..but something tends to stop me..

Raj:Armaan?

Bharti:Raj,will you stop it??I'm not in love with Armaan..he's just..

Raj:He's just what?

Bharti:At least after what had happened today,the relation between us is simply a professional relation...He has really hurt me yaar...

Raj:Uffo Bharti...

Bharti:I'm only glad that this had happened...Kam se kam..it'll be easier for me to stay distant from him...

Raj:You want to distance yourself from him??But why??

Bharti:Because he's..he's not understanding the fact that I'm not interested in him...I've dropped several hints to him but he just doesn't seem tog et it!!And that's why..I can't wait for my internship to be over..I've got three more months left to go..

Raj:Stop for now Bharti..You've had so much to drink...

Bharti:Raj,bas ek glass more...Please,please,please....

Raj:Ok just one more glass...But i thought you liked him..

Bharti:I like him as a friend...But not after what he did today...

Raj:Bharti,you're calling me petty..And what are you doing???

Bharti:What am I doing???Raj..this is the right way..And now I know exactly how to deal with Armaan..I'll make sure that he'll forget his love for good!!

Raj:Ok that's enough!!!(calls the waiter and pays the bill,disconnecting his call)I'll drop you home..

Bharti:Thanks Raj..you're so sweet!!

Raj:You've said it so many times,tonight!!

Bharti:It's the truth Raj..(smiled widely and started singing,asking Raj to sing with her)

Raj and Bharti sang their way home,occasionally looking at each other and bursting out laughing.Raj dropped Bharti safely at home. Alisha and Sanjana helped Raj open the door and laid Bharti on the sofa. They thanked him for dropping Bharti home.Raj offered to drop them home since it was already quite late and he told them of Bharti's day along their way home.Alisha realized that it has got to be the reason why Bharti wasn't piking any of Alisha's or Sanjana's calls since late evening. They thanked Raj for offering a lift to their homes and wished him Good night.Raj reached home to realize that Shreya was sleeping on the sofa while the baby was crying. He took the baby and gently tapped on Shreya's shoulder,waking her up. Shreya smiled and went to her place to sleep while Raj warmed some milk and gave it to the baby.

~Next Day~

Bharti woke up upon getting Mahi's call.

Mahi:Good morning Bharti..Where are you?

Bharti:(yawns)Mornin'Mahi..I'm actually on the sofa..

Mahi:It's already 10:30 am,Bharti..you're still not up yet?

Bharti:Arrgghh my head's so dizzy..I'll come in the afternoon,k?

Mahi:Ok..i'll inform Sonali..not to worry!!

Bharti:Thanks dear..(hung up)

Sudha was getting ready to go. She would have gone off but she noticed that the door of Armaan's door was not opened as of yet and she wondered what happened to her son who always woke up earlier than her.She opened the door and realized that Armaan was still in bed, with the mattress covering his head. Sudha pulled the mattress from Armaan who was quite irritated and went to sleep.Sudha pulled his ear to wake him up and he sprang up immediately.

Armaan:Ouchh...Maa,that hurts!!

Sudha:Hhmm it will definitely..but first what's wrong with you??

Armaan:Nothing...

Sudha:Hhmm i can't assume that nothing is really wrong for you're still sleeping in bed..and it's already 11 am..

Armaan:It's already 11?

Sudha:Yes,my dearest son...

Armaan:Maa,i was thinking of not going to Mu today..

Sudha:Kyunnn???

Armaan:Bas aise hi...

Sudha:Arre aise kaise nahin jaaoge???Tumne hi toh kaha tha ki tumhe woh Sunny ki fashion show ke rehearsals ko dekhna tha and all...Kya hua Armu..koi problem hai??

Armaan:Nahin Maa...

Sudha:Toh theekh hai,main bhi ghar pe ruk thi hoon...

Armaan:Arre Maa...aap kyun nahin jaaoge??Aap ko bhi ek seminar ke liye nikalna hai na??

Sudha:Haan par woh tumse zyaada zaroori nahin hai...Batao mujhe..

Armaan:Maa,main nahaane jaa raha hoon...Aap bhi nikaliye...

Sudha smiled at Armaan and hugged him and gently whispered to him,"Well uparwaala hai na,sab theekh kar dega...Agar nahin kiya,toh main hoon na...Ok??" and Armaan smiled widely,nodding in agreement.Before Sudha went,she shouted to Armaan,who was in the bathroom, to have his breakfast before leaving.

Armaan was having a long bath,thinking of what he had heard from Raj's call last night.He felt extremely guilty for what he did to Bharti.He simply wanted to have some private moments with Bharti but he didn't know that things would take such a deep curve such that Bharti wishes to do nothing with him any longer.Armaan brushed his fingers through his hair while he was drenching himself in the cold,chilly waters. He felt as if he had lost Bharti in a way he had never expected himself to do so.He didn't know what to do.He quickly dried himself and got out of the washroom and went to his room to get changed.As he opened the wardrobe, he felt as if Bharti was standing beside him.She held out a brown shirt for him to wear and he just gazed at her,admiring her.Armaan held her hand and pulled her closer to him.In that instant,Bharti dropped the shirt on the floor and Armaan caressed her hair.However,Bharti's image just disappeared in front of him and he kept looking for her but she was nowhere to be found.He took out his brown shirt and got ready to have breakfast.Just as he was eating,he received a phone call.

Armaan:Hi Jiya...

Jiya:Hey dude,kaha ho tum?

Armaan:Breakfast khaa raha hoon...

Jiya:What??Time dekha hai tumne?

Armaan:Ok i'll call it brunch time then...Got up late,that's why...

Jiya:Tum theekh toh ho??Did you get to talk to Bharti??

Armaan:I didn't call her last night...

Jiya:But I thought you wanted to..

Armaan:Yeah i wanted to, but..i wasn't in the mood...

Jiya:Hhmm is there anything i could do?

Armaan:Not right now..I'll meet you at MU in half an hour's time...Ok?

Jiya:Ok cool...Cya..(hung up and thought to herself)"Well meri aur Raj ke jagde ke baarein mein baad mein baat karenge..Pehle Armaan ki problem ko solve karna hai...God,please thodi reham karna..please!!!!"

It was 12:34 pm. Everyone were busy having lunch.Mahi and Sonali were joined by Raj.

Raj:Hi girls...patched up already??

Sonali:Hi Raj..

Mahi:Yes Raj..we are cool..

Raj:Hhmm you girls still look quite down..

Mahi:It's about Bharti...

Raj:She hasn't come yet??

Sonali:I just called her..She's on her way...

Raj:She was really disappointed last night...Hope she's feeling better today...

Just then there was an annoucement from Jenny who was calling for Raj.

Raj:Ok that's strange...I'll be right back,gurlzz..

Raj went to the reception counter and went to Jenny.

Raj:Yes Jenny...

Jenny:There's someone who had come to see you...

Raj:Where??

Jenny:She was here a second ago...Ahh there she is...

Raj:Shreya..hi!!!What a pleasant surprise....

Shreya:Hi Raj..I thought since we work in the same building,why don't we have lunch together??

Raj:Oh actually i just had lunch...Really sorry...

Shreya:Ahh...my bad!!Okie then,i'll catch ya later...

Raj:Okiezz take care...Bye!!

Shreya:Bye..

Just then Shreya bumped into Jiya.

Shreya:Oops I'm so sorry...I didn't see you coming..

Jiya:It's ok...Ok i don't think you work here...

Shreya:No,i just came to see Raj..

Jiya:Raj,huh??

Shreya:Yeah..excuse me!!

Jiya:Sure....

Raj was quite surprised at Jiya's reaction.

Jiya:Hi...

Raj turned away and left from there.

Jiya:Oh hello, I'm talking to you....(followed him)..Abhi tak gussa ho??(Raj felt like laughing)Ok ok i'm sorry...You know me,don't you??Meri lambi zubaan hai par main kya karoo....

Raj:I didn't ask for any explanation Jiya...And i'm...

Jiya:You're not angry with me any longer??(smiled widely)

Raj:Well i can't exactly say that....

Jiya:What do you mean by that,Raj???Don't you know what I truly meant????You know I'm not calculative..It just slipped from my mouth....(both of them reached the MU cafe,in front of Mahi and Sonali)..Ok you've forgiven me,right???

Raj:What if I tell you that I haven't forgiven you???

Sonali:(whispered to Mahi)This Raj is surely entertaining us...lollz...

Mahi:(whispered back)You bet..hehe..ok sshh...

Jiya:Oh come on Raj..don't push it so much..What did I really say that you're behaving as such???

Raj:Shall I remind you??

Jiya:Ok mu se nikal gayi thi...I'm sorry yaar...aur waise bhi kisi ne kaha tha puraani baatein ko kyun yaad rakhe,hai ki nahin???

Meanwhile, Bharti just got of the auto and was rushing into the MU building to get into the lift and she managed to get inside in the nick of time.However,she regretted it for she met Armaan inside the lift.She looked irritated but she decided to not show as if she was irritated by him and kept a blank face.Meanwhile,Armaan was smiling weakly at her but he was dumbstruck,not knowing if he ought to talk to her now or wait.Bharti realized that she has not pressed the level to which she was supposed to go. Bharti extended her hand to press Level 3 but Armaan knew where she was heading to and he pressed it for her.He smiled briefly and both of them turned their faces away from each other.Bharti was getting irritated for the lift was taking so long.Eventually, the lift opened and Bharti quickly headed outside towards her cabin,thanking Alisha for calling her at the right moment.Armaan got out and looked at Bharti walking away.Armaan looked down and just continued walking.Jiya and Raj noticed Armaan walking to his cabin.

Raj:Girls,excuse me...

Jiya:Ek minute..maaf kiya ke nahin??

Raj:Well...

Jiya:What?

Raj:Ek shart par...

Jiya:Kya??

Raj:Do bara yeh harkat..

Jiya:Koshish karungi nahin karne ki...

Raj:Hhmmm...

Jiya:What??Deal??

Raj:Hhmm....(left from there without saying anything)

Sonali:Jiya hunni, is Armaan ok?

Bharti was browsing through her files while talking to Alisha.

Bharti:Okie sweetie i'll meet you at 4 pm..Bring Naina along....You're free today,na??

Alisha:Yes,of course..And Sanjana might tag along as well if she's got nothing better to do..

Bharti:Lollz yes that will be great..ok i'll get back to work first...send my love to Naina,k??We can go and have dinner together too..
