Armaan left from there while Bharti was waiting for an auto.She wondered what she was going to do. Meanwhile it was running pretty late and there was no sign of Bharti. Sanajan dialled Bharti's number but she couldn't talk for long as Bharti's mobile was running out of battery. Sanjana dialled Payal's number from Bharti's phonebook and Payal and Bhaskar rushed over to their guesthouse to take care of Naina. Payal was about to call Bharti but she saw Bharti opening the gate and coming inside.Bharti reached home,feeling very much exhausted. She saw that Bhaskar was rocking Naina to sleep.She hugged Payal who enquired why she reached home so late. Bharti told her that she'll tell her after having a shower. Payal informed her that Naina has,had her dinner and Bharti smiled weakly and went to her room. Bharti got changed into her night clothes and went out to realize that Payal had already served her dinner as well as for Payal.
Payal:So what happened?What took you so long?
Bharti:Don't ask..Today was such a tiring day..Mahi,Sonali and I were thinking of ideas and our discussions went on for long hours. Before i even realized,it was 7:30 pm..I guess Sanju must have called you..Then Sonali and I met Armaan outside..I tell you,he's a real idiot!!
Payal:You had coffee with him?
Bharti:No,I didn't and I don't intend to..He was flirting with me in the middle of a deserted street..Can you believe that?It's like he's not letting go of any opportunities and he reinforced that he wishes to meet me for coffee tomorrow..
Payal: (couldn't contain her laughter and almost choked) OMG!!
Bhaskar:What happened Paayu?Is everything ok??(came to the dining table after letting Naina sleep on the bed)

Bharti:Argghh Bhaskar...will you just stop it!!It's just so annoying..

Bharti:Definitely a No to having coffee with Armaan..

Meanwhile Jiya wondered if she ought to call Raj and check on him and how he's dealing with the baby. However,she didn't want to call either for she knew if she were to call him right now,he would create some excuse and would want her to go there promptly,which she didn't want to do at any cost. She switched off her mobile and went to sleep.
~Next Day~
Raj was fast asleep.He didn't know what time he had actually slept last night for the baby was crying endlessly,seeking his attention.Initially he had no idea of how to change the diapers but with the practice of changing them for at least 5 times and that too after watching some videos on Youtube,the universal channel for baby dummies like himself,he mastered the skill of changing the diapers, patting himself on the back. He somehow managed last night. He had only laid down on the sofa at around 3 am. At around 7:30 am,Raj found himself in an irritated mood,trying to switch off the buzzing alarm. He tossed himself and turned the other way round and brought the cushion to his ears to stop the sound. The more he tried to ignore it, the louder it sounded.
Raj:Ok,that's it!!When did I even change my ringtone of my mobile??(paused for a long while)Oh shux,it's the baby crying...Arre rukh..I'm coming!!Just hold on...Arrgghh!!!!
Raj rubbed his eyes and yawned,wishing the baby Good morning but she didn't seem to stop. Raj changed the diapers and bathed her in warm water,talking to her incessantly. Raj assumed that the tips he ahd read across the Internet as well as his late night shopping did work to a lil extent.Raj had almost forgotten to sterilize the baby's bottles. At the same time,he made some breakfast for himself and boiled milk. He had felt super exhausted for he had not worked so much before,and wondered what's going to happen to him in the long run. Just then,he heard the doorbell ring.
Raj:(thought to himself)"Aha look who finally decided to turn up after not taking so many of my calls last night..Jiya,you are so gonna get it from me today!!"
Raj opened the door and was stunned to see a stranger. A beautiful stranger who had come in search of him and just to better his day.
Raj:(hit his head slightly)Yes?
*S*:Hi,I am Shreya..I live next door right now..Just shifted in last week..Just thought of introducing myself..
Raj:Wow..I didn't know that i could be so lucky..
Shreya:Excuse me?
Raj:Well,I thought the lady was used to stay next door,Mrs Tanuja, would be staying permanently..
Shreya:(smiled)So she was a nagging,boring si aurat type?Anyways,I would have come earlier but last week i was extremely busy..

By the time Raj got inside the kitchen,the milk had already boiled and some had spilled over.He quickly turned off the stove and he almost scalded his head,trying to take the sterilized bottle promptly. He was annoyed to notice the baby girl laughing. He wondered what's so funny for he's the one getting hurt and assumed that the baby girl was being entertained by his silly acts.In the midst of all these,he forgot about Shreya.He was shocked to see Shreya at the entrance of the kitchen.
Shreya:Need any help,Raj?
Raj:Hi Shreya..I'm so sorry!!
Shreya:Don't be..Come,let me help you..Give me the bottle of milk..
Raj gladly passed the bottle of milk and excused himself while Shreya fed the milk to the baby girl who drank it. By the time Raj got out of his room after getting changed,he was surprised to hear no cries.
Raj:Wow..it's really soothing to the ears now..The power of silence..Thanks a lot,Shreya..
Shreya:So you're her dad..Where's her mum?
Raj:Actually you're getting it wrong..The baby is a model for some of the baby products and there's no one to take care of her so I'm looking after her..
Shreya:Are yous erious?Since when have you started looking after her?
Raj:Since yesterday..Why do you look so stunned?
Shreya:No,nothing..I can't believe that such guys too exist..Glad to have known you..
Raj:but i've got no idea as to tking care of her..I'm currently in the learner's stage..and i'm a busy person..Do you know of any baby care centres??
Shreya:Baby care..not really but i can help you search..Well i've babysitted several times so maybe over the weekends or something,I can offer to help..
Raj:Oh that's really sweet of you..So you're staying here all alone..Your family??
Shreya:Actually I have my mom and a brother but it's been quite some time since I've actually talked to them..we're living separate..Erm currently,I'm alone,single and very happy!!
Raj:Well..count me in that too..Great to have known you but i guess i've got to go for work right away..I'll see you some other time,maybe?
Shreya:Sure..waise where do you work?

Shreya:Ok just hold on a second..I can't be that dumb or absent-minded that you're wroking at...You're working at MU??

Meanwhile,it was not so calm at Bharti's place. Bhaskar got into the bathroom just before Payal was about to get in, and she was pretty mad at him.Bharti was not exactly in a deep sleep but she tried to sleep for she was in no mood to actually head to Men's Universe today. She just didn't want to have coffee with Armaan. Just then Naina bounced lightly on her and hugged her,wishing Bharti Good morning.Bharti smiled and wished her Good morning but she continued to sleep. Bhaskar got changed and saw that Bharti was still sleeping. Bhaskar gently went and whispered in Bharti's ears that Armaan had come and is waiting for her outside. Bharti sprang up immediately,totally shocked but upon realizing that Bhaskar had tricked her into waking up,she threw her pillows at him and he ran from there with Naina. Bharti dragged her feet to the bathroom.
Bharti rubbed her eyes and looked at the mirror. She saw Payal's message,"Hey late bloomer,you've got a coffee date with Armaan..Awesome,na?Don't forget to go..Luv Payal", and Bharti screamed out liud.
Payal:Now that's what I call a perect morning with a perfect expression!!(smiled widely)
Bhaskar:Oh goodness,is this what you've been planning all along to get her to have coffee?
Payal:(uh-uh..there's more to come for her entire day..
Naina:Bhaskar mamu,why is mama shouting?
Bhaskar:Well,that's becuase your Armaan uncle wants to have coffee with your mama..
Naina:So why should mama shout?
Payal:Very good question..I do not know why your mama's shouting..Go and ask your mama,k?
Bhaskar:You are not going to spare her today,right?

Bharti turned in time and saw the baby's face being revealed and she quickly hid the baby's face and pretended to chide Raj in front of Vinita for dropping the hamper that she gave Raj.

Soon,Bharti and Bhaskar headed for MU while Payal waited for Alisha to come.Bhaskar dropped off Bharti at the MU Building where she met Raj.

Bharti:What??Lollzz..waise what's that?What are you carrying?
Raj:Nothing..
Bharti:It looks like a hamper..Let me see..

Raj:And now here I am..I don't know what I can do excrpt bring her to MU..I haven't told Amarjeet about it..
Bharti:Amarjeet..Just make sure that you don't leave her alone..So currently,you're her caretaker for 12 months at least?
Raj:You can say that..But i need to locate her parents asap or else i'm in major trouble!!

Bharti kept looking at the baby in admiration and playing with her tiny fingers in the lift.
Bharti:I've got a question..What if she cries?
Raj:Shreya told me to check if her diaper had been soiled or if she's hungry and do the necessary..
Bharti:Right..(pauses for a while)Wait a second..Who's Shreya?
Raj:This really gorgeoous girl who just shifted and became my neighbour a week back but i just met her this morning..Who said that only plain Jane can be the girl next door?
Bharti:Wow Raj..what amazing luck yaar...Hey give me your kerchief..(wipes the saliva from the baby's chin)
Raj covered the baby as the lift opened.
Raj:Ok Bharti..I'll meet you later,yeah..
Bharti:Yeah,ok..
They walked in opposite directions but just then, Bharti saw Raj's handkerchief in her hand and called out to him,loudly. He turned around and Bharti walked over to him quickly to give the handkerchief.
Bharti:Sorry,i forgot..
Raj:Ahh it's ok thanks..
Bharti:Do you notice something?
Raj:Yeah i do..Why is everyone looking at us?
Bharti:Gosh,anyways i'll make a move first!!

Bharti:Narrow escape..
Raj:Indeed it was..Only you and Jiya know about the baby..
Bharti:Hhmm..just keep a close watch on Vinita and Gyaan...
Raj:Agreed..but seriously mera haalat already kharaab chal raha hai yaar..
Bharti:Oh goodness Raj..Cheers to the troubles of the day to come!!

Raj:(spoke in a low tone)You don't expect me to leave her at home,do you?And you better not talk to me..I called you so many times but you never came to my assistance..
Jiya:That's because I switched off my phone..
Raj:Do you know how idiotic you can be?

Bharti shook her head and peeped over to the hamper. The baby was sleeping in the midst of Raj's and Jiya's fight. Bharti decided to leave the two alone since she isn't going to be of much help and headed over to her cabin. Before she unlocked her cabin,she went to meet Mahi and Sonali too who was in her cabin. Mahi was sorting out some files. Just then,the telephone started to ring and Mahi asked Sonali to answer it for her while Bharti was going through the presentation slides and edited them on Mahi's laptop.
Sonali:Hi..Jenny??
Jenny:Sonali ma'm..there's a call for Mahi ma'm..
Sonali:Haan Jenny,just divert the call..Hi,who's this?
Ishika:Hi,this is Ishika from Shaddi Plus..can I talk to Mahi?
Sonali:Shaadi Plus?
Mahi grabbed the phone from Sonali.
Mahi:Hello..I'm Mahi...
Ishika:Hi Mahi..I'm Ishika from Shaadi Plus..
Mahi:I've told your agency several times not to irritate me with the calls and emails on prospective grooms..

Ishika:An acquaintance of your's had come to register for you, I believe..I wasn't here for two weeks so I do not know who had come..But your signature is essential for the termination.Once again,on behalf of our matrimonial agency,I seek your forgiveness in having bothered you..

Bharti glared at Sonali.

Bharti:(shook her head)Do you think that this is gonna help?

Bharti:You forged her signature for registration,didn't you?

Just then,Bharti got shoved by someone and she turned around,falling gradually in Armaan's arms.Bharti was totally shocked,thinking to herself,"Uffo yeh kaise hamesha mere saamne aa jaata hai!!".She jerked and covered her eyes promptly and stood upright on her own and turned to go.Mahi was watching the confused expression on Armaan's face. Bharti saw Mahi watching Armaan and grabbed her hand,leading the way. Just then Armaan called for Bharti who closed her eyes in anxiety and frustration and refused to answer him. Mahi turned to Armaan and quickly informed him that they'll talk to him later since they were already running late for an important briefing.
Mahi couldn't stop laughig out loud but she tried to suppress it when Bharti wasa glaring at her in staunch irritation.
Bharti:What's so funny Mahi?I'm so freakin'annoyed!!
Mahi:But why?Anyways,your accidental encounter had made me forget my troubles for a few seconds,so thank you!!
Bharti:Hhmm...(shook her head)
Mahi:Your mobile..
Bharti:Ok that's strange...I got a message from a number i didn't even recognize..
Mahi:What's the message?
Bharti:Bhartiji..don't forget your coffee date with Armaan....WHAT??

Jiya kept quiet and didn't think of stopping him for she knew Raj too well.Nothing would enter his head right now and their argument would just escalate into a serious problem. She just felt regretful for the words that slipped out from her mouth.
Armaan:Hey,you seem disturbed..
Jiya:Not really yaar..actually I'm just quite tensed about Sunny's fashion show..I've got no idea how to break the news to him that his show might be delayed for another 2 weeks due to some technicalities..Arrgghh!!!
Armaan:Come,let's go anf talk to him..I'll come with you..
Jiya:Thanks dude..Waise has someone agreed for some coffee time with ya?
Armaan:Well,let's just say that it is in the process..

After a few hours later,Bharti and Mahi were very much irritated and annoyed with what's happening to each other,being oblivious to the other's irritation.Sonali was listening ardently and taking some notes for the discussion later she thought of having with Mahi and Bharti. Mahi was very much irritated with incoming calls from Ishika of Shaadi Plus and she finally picked up the call and spoke gently to Ishika,confirming an appointment with her at 4 pm. Meanwhile,Bharti was getting more and more SMS-es from unknown people with weird messages,wishing her well for her coffee date with Armaan.Bharti decided to call the owner of the previous message she received. She was stunned to realize that the person was an ardent fan of Peppy Payal and that Payal and Armaan were behind this. Bharti couldn't take it and screamed out loud. Everyone who were in the conference hall turned to face Bharti who realized what she just did and went red with embarassment. She excused herself,informing Mahi that she's heading to the washroom.
Bharti slammed the door of the washroom.For a moment,she was glad that no one was there in the entire place and she could just scream out loud.Bharti was totally shocked at what Payal's fan told her.A perfect,flawless plan conceived by Payal and Armaan,her two good friends,"Just for one stupid cup of coffee??How cheap!!!"
