The next day, Bharti reached Men's Universe on time for the first time in her life nad she felt excited. she was lost in her world,feeling so proud of herself for her achievement.Just then she bumped into Armaan and both of them hit each other's heads consequently.Upon seeing each other,both of them couldn't help but smile.

Bharti:Good morning..

Armaan:Very good morning..You're on time!!

Bharti:Yeah..ok gotta go..

Armaan:Erm Bharti..erm..

Bharti:yEs Armaan?(walks towards him)

Armaan:(held her hand)Would you like to have coffee with me?

Bharti:(looks at her watch)Coffee??At 8:43 am?Now?

Armaan:Yeahh..

Bharti:Isn't it too early??Maybe some other time Armaan..

Armaan:Sure,I'll wait for the moment..(smiled at her)

Bharti:What?

Armaan:I'll wait..See ya..(let go of her hand)

Bharti felt something strange and different about Armaan's behaviour.Jus tthen Mahi called for her in the cabin while Armaan was all smiles,feeling confident of the new plan he thought of,since last night. He saw Jiya and wished her Good morning and continued walking.Jiya signed some papers and quickly joined armaan.She began to imitate Armaan's mannerisms and after being ignored for some time,she finally succeeded in getting Armaan's attention.

Armaan:What is it Jiya?

Jiya:(smiled widely at him)Hhmm nothing..Waise what's going on?Sab ke saamne,foyer par..Khule aam usse coffee ke liye poochna and all..

Armaan:Ohh you saw everything?

Jiya:Well most of it..Preity saw it too and was very much annoyed..

Armaan:Perfect..The plan's working then..

Jiya:What plan?

Armaan:Well,(walked to the studio) Preity told Bharti that Bharti was the reason for my break-up with her..And i'm just making her words true..

Jiya:But isn't that true?

Armaan:Yeah but Preity apparently thinkd that she caused our break-up..I seriously don't understand why we are even talking about this..

Jiya:So...what did she say?

Armaan:She said some other time..

Jiya:Oh come on Armu...who would agree for a coffee now?Wrong timing,dude!!

Armaan:Hhmm...but i want coffee now...

Jiya:Aww bachu..come let's get a mug each..

Armaan:I know i can always count on you...

While having coffee at the MU cafe,

Jiya:So..

Armaan:Ahh coffee does wonders to my mornings..

Jiya:Ditto!!Hey Sunny..Sun..Ok that's strange..What's worng with him??

Raj:Hi guys..Mornin

'Jiya:What's wrong with Sunny?

Raj:Mr Sidd apparently booked the hall for his fashion show on the same day as Sunny's.And sunny is very much pissed and he doens't want any other venue...

Jiya:tHat stupid freakin'idiot!!OH by the way you're still working on the baby modelling assignment?

Raj:I don't know..Just got about 2 days for that..If i don't get a baby shortlisted,Sidd will do anything to get the commission...

Jiya:No way Raj..You better do something..I don't want that idiot to get away every single time!!

Raj:I don't know..Waise what's this early morning celebration for??

Jiya:Well,if you want to call it a ssuch,it is for Bharti..She came on time for the first time...

Raj:Hehe..cool!!Oh shux..i need to meet her and Mahi right away..Catch you guys later..

raj went to meet Mahi and Bharti.

Raj:Hi girls..where's sonali?

Mahi:No idea..what's up?

Bharti:Hey raj,did you see the notice board?

Raj:Yes,that's exactly what I wanted to talk to you about..

Mahi:But..ok you guys are talking about the writing contest,na?The most impressive fashion articles get showcased in the international mag,Vogue??

Raj:Exactly!!Bharti,I think you should take this opportunity.Mahi and Sonali can write too..Actually I asked Amarjeet about it and you won't believe it but he actually recommended the three of you to work together to represent the newsletter team.I'll be pretty busy over the next few weeks...So??

Mahi:Uffo Raj..It's gonna be difficult..Why are you always busy when such things arise??

Raj:Aww Mahi...it's really important this time..sorry sweetheart!!

Bharti smiled and was browsing through the flyer that Raj brought with him. Just then,Mahi's mobile rang.Mahi sounded very much irritated. Bharti and Raj wondered who was disturbing Mahi at the moment.

Bharti:Hey is everything ok?

Raj:Yeah,who's trying to do the job that I'm supposed to be doing?

Mahi:Stop it Raj..It's from some dating or matrimonial agency..

Raj:Wrong number,it must be..

Mahi:Raj,how can any wrong number have my particulars?

Bharti:Meaning?

Mahi:Bharti,apparently they're saying that I've registered to their agency..Ans as far as I'm concerned, I've not registered to any such agency and I don't intend to...Argghh i'll be right back guyz!!

Bharti:Ahh the day's pretty weird today..First it was..Then..Wait a second...

Raj:What's wrong with you??Why are you having all those funny expressions on your face??

Bharti:Erm Raj,when you ask a girl for coffee,what's going on in yuor mind?

Raj:Why?

Bharti:Arre just tell me na..

Raj:Actually it depends..we can talk along the way..come,we have a meeting now..

Bharti:Great..so batao..

Raj:Well if I'm asking a hot girl whom I've spotted, well I'll ask her for coffee in a way to know her and yeah..but if i'm asking you or Jiya, then that's different...Basically a guy asks a girl for coffee, showing his interest in trying to know her and looks for ways to spend more time with her..

Bharti:Iska matlab..(had a quite shocked expression,hearing the revelation of Raj)..Oh shux!!

Raj:But why were you..Who asked you for coffee?(raised his eyebrows)

Bharti:Ermm..(paused for a while)..No-bo-dy!!

Raj:Oh freakin'God,Armaan asked you for coffee??

Bharti just looked at Raj.She gritted her teeth and closed her eyes in frsutration,involuntarily nodding in agreement.

Raj:(smiled widely)Oho toh yeh baat hai...So when's the coffee date?

Bharti:There's no coffee date,alright?

Raj:Arre par kyun?

Bharti:I just told him some other time..

Raj:What the..(sighed)But why exactly did you refuse?

Bharti:Usne..(paused for a while)Usne..

Raj:Was he trying to..you know..flirt with you or something?

Bharti:Just hold right there,Raj..How do you do it?Is everything pasted outrightly on my face or are you some kind of psychic?Waise yeah..and stupidly I just realized that he was trying to f...f...

Raj:Flirt..Flirt with you..(smiled widely)You know Bharti,you look really adorable when you're irritated..

Bharti:Armaan said that too...Ok you better stop right there or else i'll...kick you ,seriously!!

Raj:Ok ok fine!!!But i seriously couldn't believe that Armaan actually..(saw Bharti glaring at him)..Ok i get it..I'll stop!!

Bharti:That's better!!

After their meeting, Raj went to meet Jiya who was trying to console Sunny and trying to persuade him to get the date postponed to the upcoming week. Raj wanted to talk to Jiya but she was apparently busy with Sunny. He got an idea and went to them. Raj told Sunny that he got an extra week of time to prepare the most awesome designs and that too,much more refreshing than Sidd's. Raj had targetted the particular spot in Sunny's heart.Just as there used to be stiff competition between raj and Sidd during their college days, Sunny and Sidd had been at loggerheads during various fashion shows and both of them consider the other as a strong competitor,wishing that they could crush the other with their feet. Sunny kissed Raj who was feeling quite awkward and Sunny left from there.

Raj:Never mind(rubs his cheek where Sunny kissed)

Jiya:What's the matter?

Raj:You know me so well,don't you?

Jiya:Ok..shoot!!

Raj:You didn't tell me that your dear friend actually asked Bharti on a coffee date?

Jiya:Well,who asked you to be late?Anyways he got turned down..so there's nothing to tell..

Raj:That's interesting..Bharti was really irritated..Lollz you should have seen her face..She hates flirts and I'm totally surprised that Armaan's actually flirting with her..

Jiya:Anyways,have you gotten to tlak to your friend about the baby..You said that you were going to,na?

Raj:God knows..Actually I couldn't contact him and he's out of town too..I wonder what's gonna happen tomorrow..

Jiya:Oh yes I frogot..Amarjeet had asked you to meet him asap..

Raj:Ok i'll be right back!!

Raj knocked on Amarjeet's cabin door and went in. He was surprised to see Armaan there and recollected his conversation with Bharti.He couldn't help but smile and shook his head.

Armaan:What?

Raj:Nothing,Armaan...Just recalled something and laughed..Anyways Sir,you called??

Amarjeet:Well,has Bharti,Sonali and Mahi agreed for the writing contest?

Raj:Definitely Sir,in fact all of us are equally excited..

Amarjeet:Great..the dead;ine's in two week's time..There's actually a briefing session two days later..So just inform them..

Raj:Sure Sir..

Amarjeet:Alright,you two can go..

Armaan:Hey Raj,wait up..

Raj:Yes dude..come in the lift..Look who's here..It's Bharti!!

Bharti:Hi..(smiled at Raj)

Raj:Bharti,Armaan's here too..

Bharti:I'm not blind,Raj..(smiled at Armaan)

Armaan:Heading home already?

Bharti:Yeah..

Raj:By the way,it's raining..You sure you don't want anyone giving you a lift back home?

Bharti was irritated,looking awkwardly at Armaan.

Armaan:(whispered to Raj)Dude what are you trying to do?

Raj:(whispered back)Nothing much..Just chill!!! Waise Bharti,isn't this a perfect weather for a cup of coffee??

Armaan:Coffee??

Bharti:Coffee??

Raj:Yeah coffee..what say??

Bharti was tongue-tied. She didn't know what to say but she thanked God for the lift opened in time. She abruptly said Bye and left form there.Raj got out and cracked up laughing.

Bharti was on her way home in an auto.She was actually thinking about how Armaan was flirting with her before this and Raj's thoughts about it,

"So apparently Armaan's interested in me?(feeling so awkward)But aren't all guys the same..Looks come first to them and they only care about that..Can Armaan be just like every other guy?If he wanted to have coffee,he can just have it na..But what was the need for a question?Oh shux..Am i over-reacting?Isn't it just a coffee after all..Armaan's my good friend..Yeah that's it..Maybe i'm just thinking too much!!"(went inside her home)

Jiya and Raj had dinner at Pearl's Restaurant.

Jiya:Hey dude seriously what are you going to do?

Raj:You asking me??I have apparently no clue..Only God can help but seriously where can i get a baby and that too with all those listed criteria?

Jiya:Exactly..what tiime do you have to get there tomorrow?

Raj:10 am..

Jiya:No clue of how God's gonna help you this time..

Raj:Filhall dinner enjoy kare?I prefer focusing on one thing at a time..

Jiya:Hhmm ok..Pass me the shrimp sauce..

Along the way back home.

Raj:Waise Jiya you've got any relatives with babies?

Jiya:Nope,not that I know of..

Raj:Hhmm let's just hope for a miracle tomorrow..

Jiya:Yeah, that's the last resort!!I'll see you tomorrow,yeah?

Raj:Yeah,good night!!

Jiya:Nitezz..

Bharti watched the stars at the terrace in her night clothes while naina was fast asleep. She was enjoying the cool,breezy weather. Just then, the winds got stronger and it had started to rain. Bharti closed her eyes and smiled, feeling the fresh scent of the raindrops trickling down her face and swirled around,tossing her hair. Bharti shook her head and turned to go downstairs after wiping her hair. She slept on the sofa.

~Next Day at MU~

Jiya reached early,thinking that Raj might need her help. Moreover,she realized that Raj hasn't appeared to show his face at MU and it was already 9 am. Jiya informed Sonali and left to raj's place,thinking that he must not have woken up as of yet. She knocked on his door repeatedly and banged louder for she realized that his faulty doorbell hasn't been repaired yet. Eventually Raj woke up and smiled upon seeing Jiya.

Raj:Mornin'..come in!!(yawns and closes the door)

Jiya:Would you bother to look at the time?

Raj:Not necessary..It's Doomstime for me..

Jiya:Come on,go and get ready..I'll wait for you..He can go and meet the people at the agency..

Raj:Haizz...okie I'll be back in a jiffy!!

Jiya:Take your time(smiled for she knew his jiffy meant almost half an hour)

Just then the doorbell rang. She wondered who it could be at this early hour. She opened the door but she saw no one. She was about to close the door when she saw a basket. A wooden basket.She knelt down and closely watched what she assumed to be a fair doll.For a moment,she freaked out for the doll was alive. Jiya hit her head,eventually realizing that it was not a doll but a baby. She seemed worried but she brought the baby inside for she didn't feel like leaving the baby alone outside.

Raj got changed and came out of his room.

Raj:Hello Jiya,what are you looking at?(headed to the dining hall

Jiya:Raj,come here..

Raj:Let me eat first..

Jiya:Arre idiot come here first..(pulled him to the hall to see the baby)

Raj:What the..Where did you get the baby from?Awww Jiya..

Jiya:What?(sounded irritated)

Raj:You're a true genius!!How did you manage to get the baby at the last minute?

Jiya:Ohoho just stop!!I didn't do anything..Someone must have left the baby at yuor doorstep..

Raj:Why would anyone do that??

Jiya:I'vve got no clue of that..But I think we've ought to report this..

Raj:My deadline's in half an hour..Let's do it after that,what say?

Jiya:Par Raj...

Raj:Ssshhh zip it!!Chal,you're coming with me!!

Jiya:Oye!!

Raj:Just come with me yaar!!

Bharti just woke up from a terrible dream but she was thankful that it was only a dream. She made herself some coffee while she checked her emails. Bharti opened her blog anf started to type.

"Oh wow..it's definitely quite some time since I've blogged..Well the morning hasn't turned to be as good as it always should for the old chain of dreams seem to be making a comeback..And it's just freaking me out.LAst night,i just wanted my night to be perfect after getting drenched in the rains,trying to eradicate my worries away in the rains. If you were to ask me who's the greatest mystery in this universe,i'll say it is God, who brings about unexpected twists in our lives at such unexpected times for apparently some unexpected reasons..The dream which I had last night was pretty unexpected too..It was about Armaan.I just don't understand why he has got to appear in my dreams all the time.This time, it was seriously freaky for as far as I could remember, i was in the MU lift but Armaan came inside in the nick of time. And he was secretly glancing at me and i do not know what happened but after some time, he stood closer to me and i tried to move away but as always, he held my hand. I just don't know how he does it. He actually is capable of stopping me and i automaticaly look up to his eyes and perhaps just lose myself. Coming back to the dream,he caressed my hair and held my face and just gazed at me. Seriously i was wondering why the lift wasn't opening and he came even closer,almost touching my lips. And i freaked out and woke up. So that's how my morning started.Till yesterday, I was thinking that I might just have coffee with Armaan after all but the dream has definitely made me think twice. Seriously for a moment I wonder how it would be to be actually kissed by him..But I'm sure that..oh yeah we did..once,twice??Oh Bharti, you know you're really crazy...Totally sick..thinking as such about Armaan..I better delete what I just wrote.."

Just then Naina came from behind and hugged her.Bharti forgot what she wanted to do,thus,saving her blog and shutting down her laptop.Bharti wished her Good morning.

Bharti:Aap utthh gaye??Good morning..

Naina:Good morning mama..Are you going to office today?

Bharti:Yes dear..

Naina:Mama,can we go out on the weekend?

Bharti:Definitely..ek minute..why don't we go to the beach with your Payal aunty and Bhaskar mamu??We can have a picnic...

Naina:Yay!!Thank you mama...

Bharti:Awww...come let's go and brush your teeth and get you changed.Alisha and Sanju did will be coming any time..

After some time, Alisha and Sanjana came. The four of them had breakfast together and Bharti kissed Naina goodbye and she left from there. Bharti was rushing to Men's Universe to meet Raj but she didn't see Narain coming with a warm cup of tea and all her preparations for the writing contest went down the drain. Her papers fell on the floor and so did Narain's cup of tea. Bharti looked at Narain who had closed his eyes tight,hoping not to get scolded by Bharti. Looking at Narain made mer smile and she asked him to open his eyes. Narain opened his eyes and apologized. Bharti asked him not to for it wasn't his fault.It was her fault and she helped him clean the mess and threw the papers away. Bharti made Narain a cup of tea and asked him to drink it and then go about his work. Narain smiled and drank the cup of tea that Bharti made for him but his happiness was short-lived for Vinita had started ordering for her daily dose of coffee. Bharti came out of the washroom and she saw Narain feeling so irritated. She helped him by making her coffee extra strong with salt instead of sugar. Both of them bursted out laughing and Narain passed the cup of coffee to Vinita and quickly left from there. Both Bharti and Narain cracked up,watching Vinita's wild expressions. Bharti left from there,wishing Narain a great day,to meet Raj who was at the MU cafe.

Raj:Hi Ms Bharti..

Bharti:What's the formality for and what are yuo doing in the cafe so early?

Raj:actually I've just gotten my meeting done with an irritating client..so i'm here to chill for a while..

Bharti:Raj,actually my preparation for the contest had been ruined..I don't know what to do..

Raj:Uffo Bharti just relax..The briefing is tomorrow,maybe you can get more inspired from there..The deadline's actually two weeks from now..

Bharti:Phew!!Thank goodness....

Raj:Well i'm surprised..

Bharti:At?

Raj:at the fact that without me having to ask,we're having coffee unlike someone..

Bharti:Who?

Raj:Who,of course,has tried to ask you for a cup of coffee since yesterday,I guess..But i'm far more luckier than him..Waise when are yuo having coffee with Armaan?

Bharti:I'm quite busy so i don't know..

Raj:Acha?Hhmm what sort of work is it that's keeping you busy??

Bharti:Having coffee with you..(smiles at her)

Raj:So..why aren't you having coffee with Armaan??It's just one cup..

Raj:Right!!I guess he's making it really clear that he's interested in spending more time with you..Waise are you afraid of meeting him..Like as if something else is going to happen besides coffee??(Raises his eyebrows)
