SCENE 1(CONTINUED)

I could take it no longer'I snuggled myself up to him n kissed him on his cheek..(just cheek though I wanted to reach him a little farther on his face but something stopped me)

He looked at m n smiled n kissed me back ,this time at the place I so wanted him too'''.

We continued with the beautiful experience 4 about half an hour or so n then we broke apart again , this time the action being my initiation'

I wanted to breathe , he seemed to be free of all these stupid mortal necessities , but unfortunately I wasn't .. I wanted to start again but he stopped me this time, keeping his index finger on my lips.

"mayank is coming n he is livid, dia had just come to her senses a few moments back n benji had a talk with him ,, u'll have to make him believe gunjan in all this, that's the only way we can return ,remember don't stutter or blink, he won't believe u then"

Saying so he vanished just some white smoke in his place which vanished too within the next few seconds,,

I was shivering all over again, my heart threatening me ,saying it was going to crash. Sweat was there all over my face. My head whirled,, my body wasn't reacting greatly to samrat's departure, neither was i.. but still the tears in my eyes got mixed with the sweat , a good sign'

Mayank banged against my door n entered .he really looked livid..

Seeing his face ,I 4got what had just happened with me for a second.

He caught hold of me, tightly, n it hurted ,but he took no notice of me when I winced.

"why ? why the hell did u lie to me? Dia can speak alright but she is still covered with scratches all over"

"how do u know??"

"she herself told me idiot , I believed u .why the hell did u get my hopes so high 4 nothing.. 4 few moments I thought I was going to see her again"

I had no difficulty in comprehending that he meant di .

"tell him that he was going to see her , but that can only happen if he believed in her coming back"

Samrat's voice ringed in my ears. I looked all around me to find him n so did mayank.. could he hear him??

"why r u seeing all around?"

"I I thought that I heard someone whispering , leave it, don't distract me just answer me b4 I break apart whole of this apartment"

I just reapeated what samrat has just said

"you will see her , but that can only happen if u believd in her coming back"

he let go of me.

"wht?"

"yes samrat visited me just now, I know u won't believe me but that's what he said , we have to believe in their cmg back ,we have to believe our hearts. He said that was the only way possible.. infact the whispering u just heard was done by samrat"

I could see his features projecting so many emotions in that one minute. Doubt , worry about my sanity , anger at my rubbish n n hope at what I said , I continued this time looking at him straight in his eyes ..

"mayank, believe me, see I know all of u think that I am going mad , but I am not , samrat can never be my imagination,, pls believe me this once, it can't hurt much if this all turned out to be a dream n I turned out to be a girl mad after the death of her love, we have already seen so much hurt b4 we'll cope up with it,, just believe me n just believe them"

I stopped n gapped for breadth .. mayank was looking down n I can bet his eyes were wet .. he was believing me, his features mellowed down completely, he completely relaxed ..

I felt ecstatic n so did samrat . he was standing just behind mayank , smiling at me like never b4. the strange glint in his eyes was something I had never seen b4 , he felt so elated n so did i. I was about to tell mayank to look back n meet samrat when he gestured me to remain silent by keeping his finger on his lips'

I closed my open mouth, seconds later I remembered what samrat has said b4 mayank came crashing in my room'

Samrat has said that benji had talked to mayank.

"what did benji say to u??"

I could see doubt creeping in mayank's features again as he looked up n remembered his conversation with benji..

I wanted to hit myself hard 4 bringing it up, even samrat was fuming standing behind .. I said sorry to him through my eyes n hoped he would understand, he did..

"benji has read the diary , n doesn't believe in even a word that was written on it .. he said he saw u working late last night , writing something , he wasn't sure but he suspected that u were writing in samrat's diary"

I was stunned at this, not only at benji accusing me of filling up samrat's diary , but also because I couldn't remember working late last night , all I remembered about the previous day was that I had cried the night out as had been my routine for the past one year.. I looked at samrat 4 some help ,but he was gone ,I turned around n searched the whole room to get a glimpse of him, but in vain,

Doubt begin to creep through me to. Was I going mad suddenly everything around me whirled , I seemed to sway on my spot..

The last two things that happened b4 I lost consiousness was

I saying to mayank the following line>

"believe me ,pleas , just this once"

N then I saw myself falling in samrat's arms , but from a distance , like a third person ..

I was going crazy there was no doubt in it..

I caught hold of gunjan b4 she hit the floor. He was burning hot, it seemed that she was running a high temperature. I had no doubt that my last line ,the talk with benji had caught gunjan offgaurd ,due to which she fainted ,,was she suffering from som psychological disorder??? Thinking practically she was ..

But who the hell wanted to think practically???

I picked her up n cradled her in my arms n then laid her on the bed.. I had made up my mind to think it over ,to believe in gunjan .

If she was mad then I was going mad too.. but benji was going to be a problem a big problem, till now he would have told everyone within an area of about 2 mile radius ,that he had seen gunjan writing something in samrat's diary.. how I wished at that instant ,that instead of gunjan he should have fainted'

But alas things seldom happen as we want them to..

I came out of the room

The harsh wind helped me to think'.

Sorry guys 4 the short update , but I have these two exams tomarrow ,so had to goto go,

Its has not been revised ,just like the last one so it might contain loads of mistakes

I'll update the next part soon, n a mayur scene is on the cards next time promise ..
