OK, so I seem to have stumbled on a treasure trove today!! 😆 I read each of your stories, and all of them are AMAZING!! OK, so here are my views on each of them, and, beware, this is going to be LONG:
Kya Yehi Pyaar Hai : Seriously, this is one of the most fabulous stories I've ever read. First of all, the mood and the feel of the story was beautiful. The entire setting, right from the mausam to the fireplace in the library was picture perfect. The thing that I loved most about this story is how well you've captured their feelings. The slight doubt, the initial questioning, the wonder and the hesitation is described so amazingly, which I imagine must be extremely difficult to do, since RM are normally so confident and outspoken. Fabulous yaar!!
Tera Mera Pyaar : OK, RM's little fights were HILARIOUS in this one !! I could imagine them standing right in front of me and fighting that way. The dialogues were so witty and so RM !! And then the Sister Lovely wala scene…..ROFL !! I just about died laughing !!
And that song……its like one of my most favorite songs EVER !! There's something just so magical about this song…….and when I imagined it on RM in your story……..AMAZING !! The scene in the car was so beautiful…..the rain and the most gorgeous song ever. All those little glances and moments….exquisite !! Just when I thought that this story couldn't get any better came the scene in Muskaan's room. It was so sweet, so romantic, and so perfect. The best part was the simplicity of the story……ainni simplicity naal likheya hai, main taan fan ho gayi tvaddi !! Gorgeous, gorgeous story !! And now this song is all the more special for me…..Pehla ye Pehla…….
Tera Intezaar Hai : Atul and Anjali are SO CUTE in this one !! They're one of my favorite couples ever, and it irks me to no end that the DMG people never seem to realize what amazing characters they have in hand. This story reminds me of the AA I fell in love with. It makes me remember the special magic that AA have that is so sadly neglected on the show.
Once again, the mood, the feel of the story was just perfect. You know, I had always, always wanted a bike ride in the dark for AA on the show. The setting, the characters, for me couldn't be more perfect. Your Atul was just so so…..Atul. There's no other way to describe it. He was so sweet, so innocent, so funny, so incredibly sensitive,…….all the things that make Atul what he is. And your Anjali……she was the most amazing part of the story. This is what Anjali is, which sometimes gets lost in the show…..she's confident, strong, capable,……but she's also soft, vulnerable, gentle and caring. The romance in this one is so subtle……and that song, Tera Intezaar Hai, is again, perfect.
My favorite scenes were when Atul talks to Anjali about his adoption and when Anjali waves Atul goodbye in the end. There, the connection between them is so strong, so palpable, that it simply takes my breath away. Thank you for such a sensitive, subtle and gorgeously written story.
Yaadein: I saved this one for the very end. You broke my heart with this one. I don't know what to say other than the fact that I cried buckets. Literally. This is such a beautiful piece of writing. There is so much love, passion, devotion and so much pain. But I still wouldn't call it a tragedy. A tragedy is something final, something terrible. But here, their love is so pure, so beautiful, so complete, and so eternal, that even death seems meaningless. I think this is one of the most powerful, most moving pieces of writing I've ever come across. Seriously, it took me an hour just to get a hold on myself so that I could write this. This story is haunting. That's the word I've been looking for. Its beauty lies in the fact that it won't leave you after you're done reading it. Just ask me, it keeps coming back to me so often. And that song…..Tu Muskura….I don't think I can listen to it ever again without a lump in my throat.
Thank you for such amazing stories. You made me laugh, cry, smile and feel so many things that its difficult to explain. Thank you so much !! And I really, really think that I've talked to much. So I'll just shut up and khisko now. You can't say I didn't warn you about how long this was going to be. Lolz.
