Part 1 (Break Up)

"Hey thanks for giving me a ride," Riddhima began to unlock her seat belt and leaned into kiss her boyfriend. She backed away and began, "Ok so you know how I'm moving right?" She saw him nod. "Well, it turns out I suck at long distance relationships. So, I," She drifted off as he began to kiss her again. She pulled back and the started again. But after seeing his eyes she realized that she couldn't break up with him. He looked so sweet. She picked up again, "So I-" She got cut off by him.
He looked into her eyes face to face and said, "I love you,"
She sucked in her breath and practically shouted, "WHAT???"
"Oh I knew you'd feel the same way!" He hugged her as she stared at his seat in shock. Or was it horror?
"Umm'" She avoided his gaze. After a long breath she continued, "Look these couple of months have been really great but-" She was cut off again.
"Oh here," He took out a small Jewelry box. "I was gonna give it to you at dinner but then it wasn't private so I thought I'd give it to you now," He opened the box and in laid a ring and a huge diamond on top. She had to admit that it was a great ring but then she realized why the ring was in front of her face. He continued, "Riddhima Gupta will you marry me?" He looked up innocently at her.
She didn't have time to answer before he slid the ring on her finger. Oh god! Riddhima Gupta was officially engaged. She had to say something but all that came out was, "Uh, Nisha is waiting for me. I have to go," She said as she opened the door. She didn't even look back when he yelled goodbye.

"Oh Lord," Nisha examined Riddhima's finger and paced around the room. "This can't be happening. How can he just put a ring around your finger without asking you? And how can you just walk away. Especially when you were about to break up with him the first place???" She had a frown on her face, "Oh the ring's beautiful!" She gushed.
"Nisha!" Riddhima took her hand back. "Think of some thing, I'm engaged!" She held up her hand.
"Well some of us aren't so lucky," She muttered.
"What?" Riddhima cocked her head to the side.
"Nothing," She pulled Riddhima and made her sit on the bed. "Look. Just tell him you're not ready yet," She smiled.
"But that's the problem I'll never be ready and besides it would crush him," She stood up and walked into the balcony.
Nisha placed her hand on her shoulder and said, "It's OK," She sighed.
"No it'll never be okay," She went into her room and said, "I'm tired good night," She waved and faked a yawn.

Riddhima stood up and the slowly walked off the stairs. She placed a note on the table. She dropped a key and went outside.

The note read-

Yeah turns out that I'll never confront him. I texted him a break up.
Tell him I'll never forget him. I mean who can? The guy asked me to marry him.
Well give this ring to him will ya? Hope it's no trouble.
😊

The text read-

Hey. Yeah i just wanted to say that i can't marry you cause i don't
love you.Don't worry I gave the ring to Nisha. She'll give it to you or
she'll FedEx it to you. Don't be too sad. I'll be happy. Okay love ya.
OOPS! Take care. Sorry i don't love you. 🤗 Bye!!!

hey that part was kinda funny, hmm can see how riddhima character is...not so "loving" haha lol

but i found this part a bit too short
