Once Upon A Bards Verse! - Page 18

Hey Nij... I'm quite familiar to this name as we have a certain number of fics in mutual.. Though I'm not into the poems and verses much but the title did intrigue me... and here I am commenting to your verses.. I especially loved the couplets which resembled you and that "Nutter on the run..." ode.. All of them were superbly penned up and DMG verses ... I like Tom-Dick-Harry poem on the boys...!!

@Sookie... it is what you make of it....for me mostly abstract pieces put together in response to the movie i watched just before writing (my life in ruins)...but final result...it turned out to be something that links to the crystal ball...the unknown world...! 2nd para..wasnt supposed to be that...but it is now! :D

@Prathi ... guilty! but i like i said..theres hardly any of my stuff i personally like....this one was definitely high for my standard :) and hence you had to read it :D...! the two paras..they are both supposed to be linked in a way...but as i told sookie...poetry's interpretation is in the eyes of the reader...! it's strange how u all thought of a guy and belly dancer

@Armaan ..good to see a non-reader of this 'stuff' ...here (i am not much into it either lol) glad you liked my previous verses...though i think most of it is not worth my time :P ..!
however.. 'nutter on d run' is one of those i actually like...i am curious to know what made you turn to this thread..hmm!

What made me turn to this thread was basically your user name in the "starter" Que...! Since, I've always seen your comments at majority of Fics and topics... to I was really curious to know what was this stuff all about... So, this 'drew' me up here... and seriously all of them were a treat to read..!! 😊

Chaptering the calendar reverse, licking the last pint
Tomorrow is certain, awaiting everything lost in the way
am i part of it, everything that i never knew i seeked?

Winds screaming on the shores, typical corner
rocks shaking in the far distant, dusting wet
Beneath the north pole, boasting the bright rays
Spinning the lei, strawing the loose ends, scotched
promise of certainty only, i don't belong here, where then?


So jaded i have been since days, unable to pen a verse right...finally some relief to have conjured this piece.
Yes, i watched another movie today...any guess? (hint hindi n very recent 😛)

This is the only line i actually got, and well :) movie dekhi nee maine abhi takk, but mujhe to tera apna jaded mood ziada reflect hota hua dikh raha iss main :P but anyways, its a reflection of somewhere not knowing where you belong, not being able to define any certain moment or a lifetime of happiness, or of what he (i wud like to think its a he) would perceive as a satisfaction on the fulfillment of what he wants...hmmm!! very interesting nij....:P
