Hi girl, am glad that you thought the emotions potrayed were realistic, was a little worried that the part was a little heavy and people may find it boring, but to me it was essential.....I guess we all wonder how we would handle major events in our life, but barring a few people who are weak, you'd be surprised how well we are able to handle events....yup, ATul is an awesome friend to have...shall update soon!

Hi young lady, hmmm..interesting question but not to so easy to answer...friendship and love are not very different emotions, at least from my perspective...the latter must be predicated on the former for it to be sustainable otherwise it's just an infatuation or an attraction which will peter out with time...so given the close relationship between the two, its oft difficult to draw the line...cos its difficult to say where one ends and the other begins...a lot of what you share with your loved one - other than the a racing heartbeat, a physical pull and attraction, a connection – is often what you share with very close friends (men and women) too – an ability to communicate, a sense of comfort in their presence, a confidant, someone to turn to, someone to have fun with. So what really differentiates that special relationship from myriad others than the attraction? That can't be the only defining differentiator....so somewhere I guess we all end up distancing friendship and embracing love...and unfortunately that's probably much truer for women than for men...you will find a lot more men with close women friends than women with close men friends cos i think emotionally, being mature and in some cases because of circumstances, women deal with this much better...

But hey I am digressing , don't intend this to be a man woman thing but back to the question you asked, the change in equations and priorities between friendship and love is usually a natural progression of your being in a relationship...because of the excitement it generates you tend to ignore all other emotions / relationships incl parental ones! However, it doesn't mean that you need to ignore the friendship – far from it – but yes you'll find that equations change, at least marginally...plus a ot depends on the level of understanding, trust and faith that exists between partners....I don't know if I am making sense at al...just musing out aloud..

I know not too much AR, shal try and rectify it but not sure if you would like the rectification, lol! Shall update soon.

HI there, hugs! I have been wondering where you had disappeared to? Its nice to have you back on the thread! Trust you have settled in yr a new job – I can understand as I am dealing with settling into a new one myself! I am so glad that you liked the characterisation incl the slight shades of grey to the hero but I always maintain, we always have shades of grey to us but that does not necessarily make us bad / evil......didn't Rahul tell Ridhima that Armaan was the kind of guy would be a pillar of strength in times of need, and so he has been for her...that should be enough to bowl a girl over not to mention her parents, lol!

I am glad that you are back and hope to see you more regularly now!

it was a very deep part sam, a lot to think about and take in. i think your absolutely right...we all get selfish, but its a matter of perspective. what i do may seem perfectly natural to me, but someone else may perceive me as selfish...but who are they to judge. no ones all wihte and all black, we all have our grey shades...you really drive home this point sam, well done! im really glad u wrote his part, its a good reality check, something i feel i need every once in a while lol
now they actual events on the update...i feel RM deserve some light as well. it wouldnt seem right to brush them off, so im glad ur giving them time in the parts.
must say i loved the scene between riddhima and muskaan! glad they talked about it and got it all out...now maybe muskaan will talk this out with rahul...and am looking forward to a confession ;)
poor armaan, just cant get the chance to short things out with anjali...and she too is avoiding! but i dont blame her, i think i would be scared to face him as well, knowing that their relationship may change after this one conversation! but i hope armaan gets to talk to her soon, poor guy is feeling so guilty about it!
atul armaan scene was great! the underlying meanings in their convo, followed by atul confirming AR arein love...was really nice :)
another thing i liked was rahul putting anjali straight! lol i could sense his irritation with her questions...and now she knows riddhima is most likely in love with armaan!

Young Robin, Hugs! And a big thank you for the congratulations. You bet it's a big headache off my head! Now I can work in peace...though I do have to get re-certified every two years but that's lots of days away!

I am glad that you liked the heart to heart between Muski and Ridhima - I guess Muskaan needed to get the guilt off her chest. It must be tough to be weighed down by a two way guilt – letting her friend down and letting Rahul think she was this kind of a person...well at least one has been dealt with, hopefully the next will be dealt with as soon as well!

I am glad you don't think too badly of Anjali for avoiding the confrontation with ARmaan...some of us are strong enough to take the bull by its horn and face up to whatever life has in store for us but some are not....

Know the part was a tad heavy so was not sure how it would be received but am so glad that it was appreciated...yup black and white or grey is often a matter of perspective!

Hi Avanti, am so glad that you did and did not find it unneccasrily heavy....Atul Armaan was my favourite too as was Rahul-Anjali...I oarticuarly liked writing teh Atul-Armaan convo....it's reminded me of my MBA days!
