"Hem Hem" Angad heard the voice beside him and ignored. Neal and Kripa also see it but decided not to say anything.

"Hem hem" the voice said again.

Angad with gritted teeth turned around and put a fake smile on his face. "Hi" he said.

"Hey Darling" she said wrapping her arms around him and gave him peck on his cheeks. And sat opposite to kripa. "Honeyy" she said sweetly looking at him "won't you introduce me to your Vriends?"

Neal and Kripa exchanged looked and grinned. " This is Louise, Louise Vuitton, my er.. new friend"

"hem hem"

"What happened?" Angad asked.

"Oh no, I was just about to say, haven't you told them we are about to get married?" She said sweetly. Angad smile through his greeted teeth.

Louise Vuitton, 22, daughter of famous fashion designer Vuitton orignally from French. She is half indian and half french.

"So what do you do?" Kripa asked her.

"I am majoring fashion designing at harvard" She said.

"what do you do?"

"I am student at soul academy and fullfilling my singing contract with karan johar-.."

"Surely you mean in chorus girls?"

"No. Lead singer, I and Angad were launched at same time" she said glaring at her. Lousie returned her poisonous sweet smile.

Angad, kripa and Neal were busy chatting away with their social life and most of time ignored Louise. "… So Kripa try to come tomarrow. We'll have fun!"

"Hem hem"

"I can't Angad, I told you I have got practice tomarrow."

"Come on Kripa if he's insisting so much you should go for it. I mean he has done so much to you" Neal said.

She finally gave. "hem hem" All heads turned towards her, Louise smiled showing her all teeth, "Honey, Ve can't. I mean mi vather has invited family along to my houes for dinner"

"It's important. I can meet your father surely another time"

"you can meet your vriends any other day. Surely it's not that important" she said smilingly and gazed at Neal and kripa, "you von't mind do you?" ………….

They smiled. "see they don't mind." She turned to Angad and smiled. "I have to go, Nice meeting you all" As she stood up and straightened her dress, kripa watched Angad giving a sigh of relief.

" Hem Hem"

"Come on honey, you won't mind going shopping with me? Ofcourse you don't mind after all Mrs. Khanna told me to take you with me.." Angad groaned to himself and bid good byes to them two and left with. As she was gone, kripa imitated her hem hem, they both laughed.

The ball was drawing nearer and nearer. With final exams to be finished kripa was busy revising her course. She has started taking private law lessons at home while doing her music course from start of the year. Of course it was the secret but when Angad discovered it he exploded at her and soon calmed down. She was in mess with her exams with seven days hell coming up and Neal worrying. She knew why Neal was not willing to tell her as it will upset her. It did. Only if she wasn't too curious on knowing it then may be she would be feeling bit relax.

"Kripa, it's Amber. Call me back as soon as you can" she pressed stop button of answer machine and immediately dialed Amber. She sounded worried. "Damn it" she mumbled angrily as no one picking the phone. She rang again.

"Kripa?"

"Amber, is everything o.k? Why are you crying?" she asked worried.

"kripa… come to the city hospital quick!" And with that phone call ended.

It took no more than 5 minutes for her to change back to clothes from her night suit and she rushed out from her apartment. She drove the car to the hospital in speed as there was no heavy traffic at this time.

"Kripa" Amber came rushing up to her in the corridor. Her eyes were red from crying. "What happened to him, Amber?"

"Neal."

She left her. He was fine in the morning when they met. It couldn't be happening to him, it's wrong. God is being unfair to them, to her.

"I got the phone call from ambulance that he got in accident" she heard amber say. Just then the doctor appeared from O.T. "How's he doctor?" kripa asked.

"We can't say anything right now. He's in very critical stage" Amber held on to kripa as she was about to fall.

Her eyes fluttered open, a silence greeted her. It all came to her. She removed the blanket from her and left the room. On the hallway she met amber. "Kripa, you should be resting"

"Don't worry about me. How's Neal?"

She noticed, she was crying and hugged her. They both were sobbing. "It's going to be O.K; you need to be strong, For Neal. He didn't want to see you like this" kripa looked at her and tried to smile, "you're a great friend"

"That I am" she said, forcing a smile on her face

She informed her that Neal is still in critical position due to loss of blood. The doctors have been in there for three hours. She called Angad and was surprised to hear Louis voice.

"Louise, it's my kripa, give the phone to Angad"

Louise smiled on the other side and looked at Angad who was sleeping. "Kripa, he's sleeping. I am sure I can give him the message for you"

"Louise it's important, please can you wake him up"

"Kripa, I am sure it's not that important that I'd go wake him up." And she hanged up. Kripa looked at the phone furiously as if she wanted to kill her. What the hell was she doing with him?

The O.T lights turned off and the doctors emerged. Kripa and Amber rushed towards them. The doctor looked at them helplessly, "I am sorry, he's no more left" he said. They looked at the doctor shocked and to each other. "We tried our best but since he was suffering from cancer, it was hard to save him. I am sorry" And they left. Kripa stood outside numb. It was not right. She heard Amber cry, it wasn't right. She shook her, tears were welling up in her eyes, "Amber why are you crying, he's alright. Don't you listen to them, don't you see they are joking. We don't want to get fooled by Neal" Amber did nothing but cries and looked at helpless kripa.

They entered the room, to see Neal lying on the bed, with different wires connected to machine. The nurse came and took the wires. "Hey, you!" kripa screamed at her, "Don't you see he needs them!" the nurse shook her head and left. Kripa took the oxygen mask and put it back on him. Amber shook her, "kripa, he's dead!" kripa did nothing but looked at her, "he's dead" she repeated, sobbing. Kripa looked at her and slapped her on face. "How dare you! He can't be dead. Don't you even try playing stupid games on me? For God's sake, he is your cousin, Look" she said moving beside, "Neal, come one wake up! Wake up, it's not April fool or joke day!" she said shook him. He didn't move. She became furious, "NEAL! You better wake up now or you'll see me not speaking you for ages!" tears rolled down her face, she didn't stop them. "Neal …….. Neal………. "She slid down crying, Amber with her still sobbing. He is dead, no more left. The doctor came up and put the cover up on his handsome face that lay there. He was at peace at last. …………………….

Sorry for posting late. I will try to continue more soon and guess what? Idiot, as I am, I have just deleted the long part of GM from my USB and it's not even in my recycle bin. Arrrgh! I hope I have a copy of the part in my school computer. Otherwise wait for the part on Easter holidays. Let's Hope I have saved that part! And I will continue the Chase too in the Easter holidays!
