Continued…
Recap: Angad proposed to Kripa and she said yes. Naina, Angad's mother have found a girl for her Miss Vuitton and wants him to get married.
Kripa walked into her kitchen at 12:00pm and looked around what to make. It was so typical of him to come here at mid-night, not that she minded. He has done so much for her after all; he was more than best friend to her.
She smiled as see remembered…
Just after Angad proposed to her, they both strolled in beach. "You didn't have to buy such expensive ring" she said looking at her gold platinum ring that has AK carved and diamonds in the middle.
"I had to me, you mean so much to me then you think. After all I am Angad khanna; I wouldn't go buy cheap plastic rings for my best friends!" Kripa smiled at him and put her arms around his. "Thank you, I loved it but what should I give you."
"You don't have to Kripa I mean it what I said there. I just want you to be here with me always" Kripa smiled and gave a peck on his cheeks.
"What was that for?"
She smiled, "For my loving fianc!" He smiled back.
"So what are we going to do next? I mean we have done this act in front of them making them believe we LOVE each other. What's going to happen now?"
She shrugged, "Wait for Neal to see when he realizes Amber's real intentions. I have seen it in his eyes, he doesn't love her. You know there is something that is stopping him to do or say. She changed him" she said angrily at the end.
Angad looked at her and cupped her face, "I don't know what to say Kripa but what ever you do you'll always find me next to you" Kripa hugged him and whispered in his ears, "I love you sooooooo much. He hugged her and grinned, "who doesn't"
Coming back from her senses she heard the door bell rang.
"FINALLY" he said as she opened the doors and let him.
She watched him, jumping straight into the sofa and pulled his seat up by pressing the recliner button and stared at the 42" inch plasma on the wall.
It felt like she was having sudden mood swings or as if she was craving for something. She walked up to him and snatched the remote from his hand, threw it away. She made him stand in front of her and hugged him.
It was all coming to her, making her go weak from inside at the same time feeling warm inside her. She could hear his heartbeats. Angad embraced her back and placed a kiss on her temple, "Is everything alright Kripa?" he asked with a tone of concerned voice.
"Hmm. Let me stay here for few minutes" she said with a voice of cute little girl who was demanding something. They stayed their still for five minutes, listening to each other heart beats. It felt wonderful to both of them, the unknown feeling floated inside their body and the wonderful warmth was still there.
"Are you pregnant Kripa?" Angad asked suddenly, pulling away from her.
She looked as if he was mad, "What makes you say that?"
"It's like you were having mood swings"
"Shut-up, can't I hug my fianc" she teased
He smiled. "What have you thought about the ball?
"You Mr.Khanna are reserved for me this year, I'll make sure no girl layes her hand knowing that you are engaged to me! And I need you to go shopping with me tomarrow."
"Why don't you go with Misty, I am sure she also need help in her shopping"
She frowned, "why are you not coming?"
"Kripa, I know how long you take in shopping and I don't want to get bored"
"Well I assure you; when ever you're with me you'll never get bored. Besides do I look boring?"
"That's hard to answer"
"Angad!" she hit him playfully on his shoulder.
"What are you going to do after graduation?" Kripa asked, as she watched him eat pasta.
"Well Mom has planned everything for me; I'll launch my new album that I have been rehearsing for now. Leave me, what about you?"
She looked at him, "I'm going back to New York."
He dropped the fork and looked at her, she was serious, "And you're telling me now?"
Kripa shrugged, "Well Graduation is coming in a week time and after that my law course will be finished. Angad you and I know that I have started taking private law lectures at home", he nodded, "Right after one week after graduation my law course will be finished, I will go to Rochester University to have LLB degree. Does Aunty know what you are doing a concert with me"
He chucked, "Mom would have killed me if she'll come to know about it and believe me she'll do anything to stop that"
"Angad your mom called me today" Kripa said.
He looked at her surprised "she said you have been avoiding her for past one week?"
"She wants me to get married to Louis Vuitton and I told her that I am in love you!"
"What? You can't do this Angad. You are ruining your life; you have to get married one day to someone else except me. Why does it feel like I have heard this name before?"
"I don't want to marry a girl especially who mom chose it. Besides I have decided I wanted to stay bachelor rest of my life"
"Oh yeah, we'll see that"

"How does this look on me?" Kripa said picking another outfit and looking at the mirror. Angad who was watching her with a bored expression. Kripa have tried tem outfits but neither of them suited her. He gave her "nah" look. Kripa frustrated threw the outfit "That's it; I am not going to the ball! If I don't find the outfit, I am not going!"
Angad looked at her with a shock expression. "Kripa, you have been here for an hour and now you are saying you don't want to go."
"Is that my fault? I have been trying those stupid dresses on and none of them seems to look good on me? Even you didn't like it all. I won't go unless I get an outfit."
He sighed and walked up to her. He made her look at him and rest his hands on her shoulders, "Let's do one thing, I'll arrange an outfit for you and now we'll just finish off the shopping with whatever you want to buy!"
Kripa laughed. "What are you going to get me? A hideous Barbie frock?"
Angad frowned, "you haven't seen my choice yet? I promise before the ball I will get you the dress that will look perfect on you. That's Angad khanna promise."
"I can't wait for it to see your choice, let's shop for jewellery!"
Angad followed Kripa to the jewellers, his both arms were full of shopping bags. She froze in her tracks when she saw Amber with someone. A stranger was putting a necklace on her. Furious she walked up to her and slapped her. "You have finally shown your colours? I knew you were nothing but a b****!
"Excuse me, who are you to say that?" A man step aside and out his arms around her waist. Kripa looked at Amber who looked as if she has seen a ghost.
Angad looked shocked at same time and gave a dirty look at her. "She's Kripa" Amber said to the man. The man looked at Kripa, gave a smile.
Kripa looked at them confused, "Are you not going to tell him what have you been doing with Neal behind his back?"
The man, "I think you've got it wrong, Neal would never do anything like that. Besides Neal and Amber are cousins"
Angad and Kripa both looked dumbstruck and shocked. "No you have got it wrong!"
Amber couldn't take it anymore; the pain on her eyes was too visible and bearing for her. "Kripa He is right. Theirs is nothing between us, we are only cousins"
She looked shock and confusing. She felt her heart tear and at the same time, those expressions on his eyes did mean something. "But…. What happened when I.."
"It was nothing but to make you look we did something. I was only his cousin, he is my fianc, and we just got engaged yesterday."
"Why would he do that?" Angad asked suddenly.
"You don't know that. I am sorry to say but the man is suffering from cancer."
The words hit her like a knife on her heart. The puzzled pieces now became all one as it made sense. Tears rolled down on her face but she was too traumatized to react. She took hold of Angad's shirt.
She woke up to find the surroundings familiars. Then it dawned upon her, she was on her own bed. The door opened came in Angad and Amber. She looked at them confused, may be she was not dreaming.
"How are you feeling now? Angad asked as he sat beside.
Kripa managed a smile and looked at Amber who was behind. Angad got up "I am going to get you a soap and don't run away!" he said before leaving as they need to talk alone.
"What do you want now?" Kripa asked feeling angry at her.
"It's not his fault-"
"Glad that you have admitted it's yours. Does Neal know you're cheating on him"
Amber sighed and knew it was time to tell her everything. "Kripa you don't get it. There is nothing between me and Neal, we're just cousins. He had asked me to help him in believing that we are together so that you can leave him….." she narrated whole story. Kripa was literally crying now.
"I am sorry, I didn't mean to hide it from you but he didn't let me tell you anything!" Amber said who was near to crying.
She looked at her realized her thoughts of her wrong. She felt horrible for not trusting him but at the same time it was not her fault. " I am sorry too, I have said so much to you and you didn't say anything to me."
"Don't be" she said. "I guess we have common to punish Neal"
Angad entered the room with bowl of soup in his hands to finds the two ladies hugging. "May I join the emotional moment?"
"Oh shut-up Angad" Kripa said, breaking away from Amber. He smiled at the ladies. "No that's settled, it's time for your soup Kripa"
Kripa made a face at him. Angad rolled his eyes and sat beside her. Amber left the room quietly. "Angad we are not in the hospital"
Angad grinned, "But you didn't leave me when I said the same thing to you. No doing now, I want you to have the soup. Open your mouth, 1.2.3 aaa" Kripa showed her lips pressed together.
"Don't force me to do anything Kripa and you know what I am capable of!"
"Oh Ya, what can you do Khanna?"
Angad looked at her and smiled, "An hour of tickling lessons!"
Kripa eyes widened and quickly opened her mouth wide, gulped hot soup. She made a face at him and looked at him angrily, "Duffer, It needs salt in it"
He looked at her and called Amber to bring in the salt for him. Angad poured the salt in and put spoon in front of him, she let it gulped and looked at him furiously, "Stupid! It lacks vinegar!"
"We don't have a vinegar and it's not good for you right nor. Now open your mouth…"
Amber looked at them two and smiled. She couldn't help but admit they looked cute. It then struck to her mind, "Are you guys really engaged?" She asked them suddenly.
"No, we just pretended to be" Kripa replied.
"I knew that at the start. You know you guys act really well"
"I know we do!" They both said at the same time, grinning.

Neal opened the door to find Kripa, shocked he moved aside to let her in. As he closed the door, Kripa hugged him from behind. He understood the fear, passion in her. he turned around to find her crying.
"Why are you crying?" he asked cupping her face in his hands.
"I have been very bad, I didn't trust you. Why didn't you tell me?
"Kripa look at me. Do you think I want to see you sad, crying? I can't see you like this, look what you are doing now? I don't want to die making you cry"
"You're not going to die! You'll be here with me"
She placed a hand in his chest he gave her a sobbed laugh. "
"Please tell me it was all a dream.". Kripa said tearfully.
"I wish it was Kripa". She hugged him passionately and looked at in his eyes, there was love yet with the hint of fear. "Nothing is going to happen to you"
Everything was patched up with them. All through in front of everyone Angad and Kripa were still engaged, the reason being Neal didn't want them to break away just because of him. When they told the truth to Neal, he smiled and told them he knew. But still Neal wanted to be that way. Just then Angad told him his mom wanted to get him and Louis Vuitton married.
They were all sitting in restaurant having meal. " Now you have reason to break away with the girl who ever your mom's putting you up with!" Neal said.
"Exactly!" Angad exclaimed, "But Kripa say's it's wrong!" Kripa who was sitting next to Neal opposite to Angad, gave an eye to him.
"Not again, you too!" Neal said. "And Kripa what's wrong with it?"
Amber and Kripa rolled their eyes. " I am sure you won't find anything wrong as you are already a fool. Do you expect me to spend my life with the biggest fool?"
"KRIPA!" they both cried at the same time.
"Hem Hem" Angad heard the voice beside him and ignored. Neal and Kripa also see it but decided not to say anything.
"Hem hem" the voice said again.

This is the next part and it's not finished yet and I will continue again. The last few lines gave you a hint of what kind of girl does Naina want's to get married. Hem Hem, does it ring bell?? I am sure you have read it some where but I find it really funy. Sorry for being as there was something with my computer.
