thanks for letting me know about this FF..

like you said it is a tragedy....and so it is going to be sad....

Naina's pain cannot be described in words....how she hda hoped that he would atlest defend himself.....make some attempt to prve himself innocent....because her faith in him told her that if he would have tried than he could have proven himself innocent

all the other cadets are also deeply agreived because whatever they have achieved they have done so beacuse of him....their captain...their mentor...

PART - 2

?captain shekawat, aapke liye ek parcel hai.?

Raj raised his head above and saw that the orderly stood there with a parcel in hand. He quickly signed the papers and received it. When he opened it he smiled as he saw what he wanted. There was a small cassette along with a letter attached.

He carefully went thru the letter and bingo he knew where this was reaching. It was finally the time to make a move. He put back the contents safely in the cupboard and went out to meet BC and ask his permission for leave.

As he locked the door, a voice called out

?sir?

he was dumbstruck. This was the the person he wanted to meet the least now. This was the same person who sets his spirits high, causes his heartbeats to race faster than usual and this is the person in front of whom he behaved as a complete fool yesterday.

Actually he wanted to ignore the call and go back but he could never do that. He can never ever ignore that voice. But he did not want to turn either. The reason was simple. He has had a sleepless night yesterday coz of this person and he dint want the same today also.

?sir? again the voice called out.

Now raj could not ignore anymore. He turned around praying silently that he does not make a fool of himself like yesterday.

?yes, cadet singh? he sighed turning into his teacher mode.

?sir aap kahi jaa rahe ho kya?? she asked enthusiastically.

A smile howering on her lips and raj found himself lost again like yesterday?..

Last night?

Captain Rajveer was on his way to his room having returned from a meeting with bc. He had been in solitary confinement for the past week and was in need of complete rest.

He was walking along the corridor adjusting the sleeves of his shirt. He was round about the corridor when wat he saw left him mesmerized.

There she stood, completely clad in a red saree, her waist length hairs left loose, with matching earrings and bangles?..looking ?wow?.

This cannot be naina?it cannot be?no not her?.his mind refused to accept that this was cadet naina ?ah? singh?.but his eyes and heart confirmed the fact that this was indeed naina, his prot?, his best friends? sister, his naina whom he had tried to distance from himself for the past few days, who had helped him compete in the election of the vice principal, who?.

He was jerked out of his thoughts as she stood there with a confused expression as to why she was being stared upon. Rajveer wanted to run out of there before losing his remaining control but there she was standing , blocking the way to his room.

As they neared each other with measured steps, she lowered her gaze. ?Was she shy or was she avoiding him?? these were the questions in his mind currently.

The first word was spoken by raj was ?naina? a mere whisper, his voice husky and intensity playing in his eyes as he scanned her from top to bottom.

Then wat followed was a string of emotions and raj had made a complete fool of himself by stuttering, stammering and smiling?.but he cannot be blamed. He was bowled over again and again by her smile, a smile that made his heart melt.

He quickly wished good night and left from there b4 he did something for which he could be court martialled. He wanted to wish sweet dreams too knowing very well that he was going to have them but it took a whole lot of effort to stop only with good night.

He tossed around in his bed again and again unable to sleep. Everything he did brought memories of naina and he was back to square 1. In spite of the fact that he wanted to rest, he dint mind sacrificing his sleep dreaming about naina. What he dint know was naina was also in the same plight.

Now after yesterdays incident he dint want to face her unprepared that is until he could get a hold on himself.

Unable to ignore anymore, he decided to answer her.

?yes cadet singh? he said finding it difficult to find words ? actually I was on my way to meet BC? then suddenly realizing how it sounded he corrected himself ?erm?I mean to meet Brigadier Chandok?

?oh? she said trying to hide her smile at his behaviour.

?aapko koi kaam tha mujhse??

?ji sir?asal main main aapse kuch poochna chahthi thi?

?shoot cadet?

?sir mujhe aapse kuch information chahiye thi.?

?haan kkahiye?kis bare mein??

?actually sir point 1857 ke baare mein?

rajveer stared at her as if she?s gone crazy. He couldn?t take her there?not after wat happened yesterday. If he couldn?t control himself in the corridor of kma?how was he supposed to hold himself when they were alone.

But he couldn?t refuse her either. She was someone who can win him over with a smile. So after a lil persuasion from her, he finally agreed.

when he saw her come towards him dressed in a white chudi he was mesmerized. He thought it was a good thing that she roams abt in the academy in the uniform or else he was sure to have been making a fool of himself very often?.

They smiled as they greeted each other and then started a beautiful journey, a journey of joy, a journey of understanding, a journey of adoration, a journey of complete bliss, a journey to the point 1857?.

They both had a beautiful evening together. They talked, made fun of each other, laughed, shouted at the top of their voices and then twirled around like a happy couple and o yes made their wish at the wishing pillar?each one unaware that they are wishing for the same thing.

Lil did they know that all wishes do not come true.

Lil did they know that this walk to the point 1857 would turn there lives forever?..

How they wished to be living like an ordinary couple?

But they din know that it is not wat we wish that comes true but wat we r destined for?.

the next day before they both went to their respective missions, they had met each other. There was an unusual understanding between them.

Something had changed between them?.something had changed their course of life, their relation ship?their dreams seem just a lil step away?.

Their lives have changed after their walk to point 1857 and rajveer was now extremely glad that he decided to show naina the place?.glad that he took the walk to point 1857 along with his love?glad that he wished for her happiness at the wishing pillar?glad that he was able to give her a lil happiness b4 he left on his deadly mission?.

now as he lay in this ground, thinking of the days he spent with her?thinking of how his life had changed?.his promises to her?to himself?to his friend?to his nation??

??he regrets it.

He regrets his decision of not being able to be there for her, be there with her?be with her in such a time of trouble, of not having told her the truth about who the traitor was, leaving her alone with people who r no more than vultures, angry beasts devouring on peoples? plight.

He regrets it.

Now the only thing he wishes for is that somehow she finds out the truth finds out about the traitor, bring justice to navin so that atleast in his dying moment he would have the satisfaction of having fulfilled a promise he so much wished to keep.

As he feels the light leaving his eye?the only thing that comes to his mind is that one incident where he realized his love?..

???.the walk to point 1857.

well the next part is up and imagine the writing in italics as a flashback....

uh...just a reminder....this is not really gonna have a very happy ending but this is the way i'd planned it...so i can understand if most of u wouldn't want to read it....i will put up the next part (last part) soon...

Update was really gud...👏👏👏All the past episodes of LRL flashed back in my mind..They were so gud..😛😛😛Even after so many days i can see dem again n again n Raj was super in demm..U really expressed the Emotional turmoil dats going inside Raj very well..That Red saree scene n point 1857 r 1 of my fav episodes ...😍

U r ending dis fiction on a sad note..Its ok😭 coz u r the best person to decide on dis ..But every1 prefers a happy ending coz (agr sab kuch theek nahin hota to picture abhi baki hoti ha aisa ek movie main dialogue tha....😆)
