Uh, even tho I dont post here .. I try to be here ... Recently I finish reading this book. Beautiful! I was thinking of making it on AK. Myself .. instead of asking you or Bheegi. It's that good! -- For them. But I hate writing! Unless I write one on Iqbal, OI-ians, and their flaws. 😆😆😆

I can just imagine angad as a detective.....his persona fits his character really well...
finally AK meet...and they were admiring each other at the first meeting....boy are they going to have hard time concentrating on the case loll..
Kripa really seems like a confident woman....its not easy for everyone to act smart by noting down the place and everything in a situation like this....but Kripa was intelligent enough to not act hyper and actually use her brains at that time and note down where she saw Tina...
Looks like Tina was just like any other teenager...who hates following rules...and live in imprisonment...Of course one reason of her not following rules and getting trouble all the time is because of her father's wealth...but i think there is more to Tina's like than that....Maybe somewhere along the line her father wasn't able to give her the time and love she needed....since he already has soo many responsibilities being the mayor and all...I wonder if he even had a clue about his daughter's social life....maybe that lack of love also played a role in Tina becoming a spoiled brat....well we'll just have to take a closer look into her life to know everything...
Kripa is not only smart but she seems to be really observant...i bet she can even pass as a detective herself loll..
aww..lol..poor kripa was getting scared..well who wouldn't....but it was soo cute when she looked at Angad and felt relieved by his presence ...and then Angad teased her when she was getting scared and holding on to him ...loll
I really liked the following description of the scene :
Pine, Fir, and birch trees loomed above their heads, towering high in the dark sky. Their foliage prevented any moonlight from seeping down to the forest floor. An occasional snow owl hooted somewhere in the woods. The entire place was silent, eerie and frightening.
it was kinda cute how angad called kripa by her name first then called her Ms. Sharma after a while ....loll...I guess he kinda got confused...
It seems like Tina is giving hints to both Angad and kripa....by letting them feel her presence and leaving clues behind.....
lol...Kripa is really stubborn...however her stubbornness is full of concern and fear at the same time...
wonder how the night will go for both Angad and kripa😉😆
great part as alwways....cant wait for th next one...continue soon and keep up the great work👏...

yeah ive got naturally long eyelashes....haha....the doctor even took a pic of it...lol.....and my mum was like i wont need to wear fake lashes on my wedding!!! lmao....but sometimes it gets annoying...when the lashes fall into my eye:(
Suddenly her mobile rang, shattering the silence of the deserted road and surrounding woods.
Kripa jumped out of her skin in shock!. She took her mobile out of her purse with trembling hands.
Hello? .her voice quavered in fright.
KRIPA? .it was Aliyah, her flat-mate/friend. WHERE THE HECK ARE YOU??
Aliyah?.....Kripa was confused for a moment.
Haan, Main! Aur kaun ? Itni raat ho gayi! Where the hell are you? Ek phone bhi nahin kiya! Are you alright? .....she yelled at Kripa like a worried guardian.
I'M VERY SORRY, ALIYAH! ..........Kripa was totally contrite. I should have called you earlier but my mobile died.
Then how is it working now? ...Aliyah demanded to know.
I really don't know! .....Kripa stared at her mobile for a moment. ...Uss samay yeh kaam nahin kar raha tha lekin......
Anyway, Im still waiting....to know where u are? Aliyah impatiently butted in.
Im with the police!.... Kripa dropped the bombshell.
Aliyah gasped: WHAT! THE POLICE! DID U HAVE AN ACCIDENT? TUM THEEK TOH HO NA?
Kripa quickly assured her: No, Im FINE! Mujhey kuchh nahin hua, but I saw HER, I SAW HER, ALIYAH!
SAW WHO?
TINA!
WHAAAA........Kripa could almost see her jaw drop through the mobile.
Haan, mainey Tina ko road per dekha, school ke paas jungle ilaakey mein.......Kripa gave a short account of her encounter with Tina on her way back to town.
Angad's eyes were closed, his booted feet casually resting near the windshield, but his ears pricked up. He was listening carefully to Kripa's incident account to Aliyah, his detective mind searching for any discrepancies from what she had told him.
He was satisfied. Ms. Sharma seemed to be telling the truth.
Kripa told Aliyah they were parked on the road: Kal subah yahan jungle mein Tina ke liye search party niklegi , main bhi usmein shaamil hona chahti hoon. Aliyah, please tum Mother Superior aur Sister Agnes to bataa dena, main Prayer ke time nahin rahungi. Ask Sister Agnes to lead the prayer, okay?
Theek hai! I will inform them! But Hey! I would like to be over there too. Can I come?
Kripa turned to Angad who could clearly hear their conversation.
Without opening his eyes, Angad drawled: Aapki friend uss school mein padhati hai?
Haan, wo PT teacher hai. Tina ko jaanti hai.
Alright! She can come! I want to ask her some questions too......Angad sniffed and recrossed his ankles on the dashboard.
Kripa raised her eyebrows at his arrogance but told Aliyah: Inspector Angad is saying you can come.
Inspector Angad? Aliyah was taken aback.
Yes, hes in charge of the case now.
Whatever.......she shrugged and relaxed. Who could explain the vagaries of technology?
The silence around them was disturbing, even more disturbing was the presence of Inspector "Rambo", breathing deeply beside her.
But foremost in her mind was anxiety about poor Tina. She was such a disturbed young girl! Probably she had run away to get attention.
Orphaned at a young age alongwith her twin brothers Bheem and Bali, she was rebellious and troublesome. Kripa felt bad for her but couldn't get through to her. Tina had built a wall around herself, a wall of mischief, truancy and rebellion. She loved to shock people! Perhaps this was her latest attempt at shocking and worrying everyone?
Lulled by her thoughts and the silence of the dark forest, she fell asleep.
Angad, still awake and alert, opened his eyes and looked at her. He silently observed the gentle rise and fall of her chest with the even breaths of slumber, her long lashes resting on curved cheeks, her lips........Yeah, those lips that he had noticed right away. Sinful lips, that didn't go with her school-marm persona. Curved, luscious and moist like a ripe fruit! He felt a tightening in his chest and looked away.
Angad was the son of Colonel Khanna, a shaheed, a patriotic Army Officer who had given his life for the country. Killed at LOC, Kargil, he had been posthumously awarded the Vir Chakra! Angad always strived to live up to his father's name, in bravery, in service to his country. He didn't join the Army as his father had hoped, opting instead for Crime Branch in Police. With his sharp mind and hound-dog instincts, he had made a name for himself in the department. That's why his Boss had recalled him from leave to take over this Missing girl case.
He sighed and laid his head back, glancing at Kripa. She was shivering slightly in her sleep, crossing her arms over her breasts for warmth. She must be cold, he thought. The mountain air was close to zero at night and she didn't have a jacket. God knows why women prefer fashion to comfort? Not that he minded her figure-hugging cashmere sweater, but it was hardly enough for a nightly sojourn in the outdoors.
He sat up, and reached backwards, twisting his agile body. Ah-Haa! His fingers grabbed a thick kambal (blanket) from the back of the Jeep. It was kept as a handy warmer for any survivors of rescue missions. It was so easy to get hypothermia in the mountains.
Angad laid the kambal lightly over Kripa, taking care not to wake her up. Her shivering stopped, breathing deepened. Satisfied with her comfort, Angad relaxed and closed his eyes again. But his senses were alert as a wolf's, even while he dozed lightly.
A dense mist covered the road and the Jeep as its two occupants slept fitfully. Silent darkness shrouded them in a cloak of mystery.
She found the kambal wrapping her and frowned. Where did this come from?
She sat up, her mouth felt woolly and icky. She wished she had some mints or gum in her purse. But how could a teacher set a bad example by chewing gum?
Her musings were interrupted by a deep voice: Chai leejiye!
Angad was standing at her window with a glass of steaming hot tea in his hand.
She accepted it with a smile of gratitude: Thanks!
Sipping the piping hot tea, she peered over the glass rim. He smiled at her: Good Morning! I hope you had a good rest?
She nodded, suddenly bashful of this hunky Inspector: Thanks for the blanket.......she said shyly, gripping the hot glass with both hands to absorb its warmth.
No problem! I didn't want you to get pneumonia! You are my Prime witness! ..he smiled mockingly.
Her smile faded at his teasing. Why was he so.....so annoying?
Kripa finished her tea and got down from the Jeep, rubbing her hands to keep warm. She wished she had a coat or Jacket. The morning air was chilly to say the least. White smoke came out of her mouth with each breath.
Inspector Khanna! When are we starting out? .....she called out to Angad.
Angad turned and quirked an eyebrow: As soon as Mr. Saxena gets here!
Kripa nodded. Of course Mr. Saxena had to be present at the search.
Nishant Saxena, Mayor of Almora, Tina's Uncle. He was a confirmed bachelor, having been saddled with his niece and two nephews when his sister and Jeeju died in a car accident 6 years ago.
The sun rose bright over the mountains, warming up the search party. Mayor Saxena arrived in his Official car, heralded by police jeeps with sirens.
He got down and strode forward to meet Angad.
Nishant was a tall, thin, slightly neurotic man in his early 30s. A scion of the richest family of Almora and a successful businessman himself, he had been elected Mayor just on the basis of his community contributions and social standing.
Angad greeted him with a handshake: Good Morning, Mr. Mayor!
Nishant stuttered nervously: Yeh main kya sun raha hoon? Somebody SAW TINA? HERE?
Yes, Angad flicked his head towards Kripa: SHE saw your niece.
Kripa went forward to the Mayor: Yes, Mr. Saxena, I saw your niece last evening. Right there (she pointed to the exact spot) .....walking that way.
Aapney usey pukara nahin? Uskey peechhey nahin gayi? Nishant looked surprised.
Kripa pursed her lips: Mainey bulaya toh tha, uskey peechhey bhi bhaagi, lekin wo........she didn;t stop! You know how she is!.....she trailed off meaningfully.
OH MY GOD! Iska matlab Tina yahan Jungle mein chhupkar humein pareshan karna chahti hai? ......Nishant scowled deeply.
Kripa protested: Shayad wo dari huyi hai kisi vajeh se, ya kisi haadsey mein uski memory chali gayi ho?.
Angad chuckled sarcastically: Kripa Jee, aap Hindi filmein bahut zyada dekhti hain.
She shot him an angry look: WE should keep an open mind for all possibilities.
I agree! ..Nishant solemnly nodded : Lets not waste time! Let us begin the search.
Angad shrugged indolently: We were just waiting for you, Mr. Mayor. Lets go then.
HEY GUYS! .....Angad summoned the Canine Unit. COME ON ! LETS ROLL!
The Dog team had 5 Officers and 3 dogs.
Angad fished out Tina's scarf from his pocket and held it to each of the dog's noses. They sniffed carefully, long and hard. Two of them barked loudly, the third one whimpered. Then they started running towards the Forest, making their handlers run after them, holding on to the leashes for dear life. The dogs panted and pulled forward like race-horses, eager to find the owner of the scent.
Nishant and his two aides, Kripa, Angad, Raghu, and two more constables ran after them. They rushed through the tall trees, traversing undergrowth of orchids and fallen leaves. Kripa had to sprint to keep up with the guys and dogs.
They were far into the Forest, the dogs stopped suddenly, sniffing near a tree.
Angad pounced on the spot: RAGHU! YASHPAL! Yahan khodkar dekho kuchh milta hai ke nahin?.
Raghu and the other constables, armed with shovels and rakes, started digging around the tree at once.
SIR! YEH DEKHIYE! .....Raghu held up a girl's butterfly hair-pin. It had been buried under the dry autumn leaves!
Kripa shouted excitedly : I KNOW THAT PIN! TINA KI HAI!
Angad raised his eyebrows at Nishant: Kya aap bhi isey pehchantey hain? Is it Tina's?
Nishant shifted uncomfortably: How will I know? Yeh sab ladkiyon ke saaj shringar ki cheezein.......I don't know what my niece wears, really!
Kripa grinned smugly at Angad: Inspector Khanna, kuchh cheezein aisi hoti hain jo aurtein zyada notice karti hain. Im 100% sure this is Tina's hairpin. Because she used to leave them behind in my class-room sometimes.
Iska matlab Tina yahin kahin aaspaas hai" ....Angad rubbed his rough, dark, overnight stubble thoughtfully.
Kripa grimaced at the obvious statement: Inspector Angad, kal raat se main yahi toh keh rahi hoon. Tina yahin jungle mein kahin hai.
He nodded curtly and shouted: Alright, GUYS! Lets proceed!
The dogs were made to sniff the scarf again. They started pulling deeper into the forest.
Suddenly they came upon a clearing in the woods. The dogs stopped in the middle of the clearing, sniffing deeply into the ground. Two of them whimpered, one howled.
Kripa felt a chill run down her spine! Was Tina there? Under the ground? No, please God! No! Don't let that be true!
She closed her eyes and prayed.
Nishant, Angad, everybody looked pale, stricken with the same fear! That the girl was buried under the ground!!
Angad ordered the constables to dig: Khodo, aur neechey. Yahan! Dig up the whole place!
They dug up the entire area, sparing not a square inch. NOTHING! NADA!
There was nothing buried there. Just a few snails, earthworms and rocks turned up.
All in the search party heaved sighs of relief.
The dogs still strained at their leash, heading northwards. They followed the dogs further. The Forest was clearing up a bit, perhaps nearing a drop or precipice!
Suddenly they saw IT! An old, run-down shack, like a dilapidated cottage, in the midst of the woods.
Wo kya hai? ......Angad bristled up in excitement.
All of them felt an adrenaline rush! They exchanged glances: Ahhh, so this is where Tina has been hiding all this time?
They headed towards the run-down shack with renewed enthusiasm. Their search seemed to be over at last!
