GHOST BANA DOST

Rajveer was running after the black hooded man and was just a few feet away. No matter what happens he was going to capture the man today. Twice he attacked him. He needed a lot of answers as to why and who was doing this.

But the hooded man had other plans and one of them was certainly not to get caught by his prey so he continued running making sure Rajveer didn't catch up with him. Seeing the road was going miles he had to look for a short cut where he can trick Rajveer and escape but it won't be easy. He knew how clever Rajveer was and was not easily fooled.

Rajveer also could sense that the guy was not that foolish to just let him chase him all the way until he is caught but he still had to try and stop him without fail. He saw a cross road coming so decided to trick the guy in going the other way so then he can catch him by getting ahead so as the turn came he went in and saw that the hooded guy had gone the other way.

As the guy was running his mobile began buzzing. He tried to ignore it but he thought what if it was the boss so he fished in his pocket as he ran and took out the phone. "Hello?"

"Where are you and why are you breathing so hard?" a female voice spoke back through the speaker.

"I'm running right now."

"What? Oh God did he catch you? Don't tell me you got caught." She was frantic.

He rolled his eyes as he knew how the woman was sometimes and right now he didn't need this. "Just shut up okay. I'll give you the details when I get back, right now put the phone down." He shut it off abruptly and was just about to take the turn when someone jumped on him from the top and threw him face down against the ground.

It was Rajveer who got the chance when the guy was talking on the phone. He twisted the guy's hand behind his back and with his weight made sure the guy couldn't get up. "Who are you and what were you trying to do?" he asked as he tortured the guy into talking.

The guy was nowhere ready to speak and he struggled under Rajveer's grip but was not able to push him off. He didn't open his mouth and tolerated the pain.

"Tell me who you are or I'll." Rajveer pushed even harder. "You don't know who you've messed with, so if you want your life to remain tell me right now or." He was unable to speak further as the guy had grabbed a fistful of dirt and was able to turn and throw it rapidly against Rajveer's face which made him blind for a few seconds. Those seconds were enough for him to escape. As Rajveer rubbed his eyes he tried to stop the guy but he was too late and he had disappeared. He got up and kicked the ground in frustration.

Meanwhile Naina was pacing the room in the flat non stop as it had been two hours and still Rajveer hadn't returned. "He could have atleast called me so I could have been assured he was alright." She spoke to herself whilst keeping her eyes on the clock or the door. She knew that things like this always happen in their life as that's what being in the army was all about but right then she was nothing but a concerned wife for her missing husband.

After another fifteen minutes of worrying, she finally heard the door clicking and closing which relieved her and she quickly left the room and saw Rajveer standing there a bit warned out. She went up to him with fast pace and hugged him. He held her tight too. "I was so worried what must have happened to you." She pulled out wiping away a few streaks of tears. She took his hand and made him sit on the couch and then she sat next to him. "You look so tired, what happened, did you catch him?"

He shook his head still a bit out of breath. "He got away at the last moment." He pressed his temples as they had begun to hurt now. He forgot that he hadn't eaten anything since morning so he was bound to be out of energy. He looked delirious and that worried Naina.

"You look really pale." She touched his cheek with affection.

He put his hand on the one on his cheek, "meree fikar karahee ho jab ke tumne khud pura din kuch khaaya piya nahi."

"You haven't either. That's why I've prepared something. Come with me." She took his hand and pulled him with her towards the bedroom. When he entered he was stunned to see so much had been prepared by Naina just for him. What he had prepared was still there but in addition there was this table set up with candles and ravish dishes had been laid out. He looked at Naina with amazement, "You made all this?"

"Hmmm.after all what else was I to do for the two hours you left me with. Plus you gave me a surprise so I thought it was my turn to give you one." Then she gestured and tapped on the chair telling him to sit. He sat down and she sat opposite him. "I've made all your favourite food."

"How did you figure that out?"

"I'm your wife and that's my job. Or wese bhi jab dil se dil kee raha hotee hai to oskee pasand na pasand apne aap pata chaljaatee hai. Come on now try it and tell me if I was right or not."

He smiled and then looked at the food but didn't move his hand and hesitated. She noticed and wondered what he was thinking. Then she tore a piece of the roti and dipped it in the chicken korma and then put it against his mouth. "I was unable to feed you, your first morsel so let me start with it."

"Uhhh.Naina wait," He moved back a bit. "I mean at least let me pray first."

"Pray? I didn't know you did that before eating." She frowned at him.

"Well," he rolled his tongue in his cheek, "tumne pehlee baar khaana banaya hai to bhagwaanse apni salamati kee pratna to karnee hee paregee na." he was preparing himself to chuckle and for a blow from her.

At first it didn't register but then she realised what he said and she dropped the piece of roti back on the plate and pouted at him with anger, "Fine! You can eat it yourself or just leave it, I don't care." Saying that she stood up but he held her hand back and then licked off her finger which had the remains of the korma on it.

"It's delicious Naina." He gave her a mischievous look as she turned around towards him. "Tum mere liye kuch karo or wo bura ho, ho hee nahi sakta." He made her sit down again but she still showed him mock anger. He grinned at her childishness and then tore a piece of the roti, dipped it in the korma. "Ab me apni Naina ko apne haatho se khilaaoonga or me jaanta hu ke wo mujhe kabhi mana kar hee nahi sakti." She automatically opened her mouth and absorbed the food in.

"Why are you so wonderful?" she spoke almost in tears but she held them back knowing he didn't like it at all.

He just laughed and continued feeding her the food. Both of them fed each other, with some teasing here and there. It was as if nothing had happened earlier with the abrupt interruption. They seemed to have forgotten about it. Another thing Rajveer noticed was the mehndi on her hands. He had been so involved before that he hadn't even looked at her properly. He took both her hands in his hands and observed the intricate designs with awe. "Aaj sach much meree dulhan hee lagrahee ho." He laid a soft kiss in her palms.

"Yeh to her suhagan kee nishaanee hoti hai ke oskee haatho kee mehndi ka rang aisa hee khila huwa ho. It means your husband loves you a lot." She smiled at him.

"Acha? To phir acha hee huwa ke peekha nahi aaya warna me to mar hee jaata."

She put her hand over his mouth, "Don't ever say that."

He moved her hand away, "If I would have found out that my love is not enough for you then I wouldn't have been able to live Naina. Aaj tumhaare isee pyaar kee wajese me zinda hu."

"I'm also alive because of it." She noticed he had become a bit upset so thought of changing the topic, "ab sirf taarif karnese nahi rahega. You've got to play the game with me." She teased him.

"Game?" he looked perplexed.

"Yes, you've got to find your name in here." She pointed with her eyes towards her mehndi clad hands.

"Ha to isme kousee mushkil baat hai. Captain Rajveer Singh Shekhawat ne bohat se codes decode kiye hai to isme kya baat hai." He held her hands with confidence whilst she rolled her tongue in her cheek. She knew how long it was going to take him but she still she wanted him to prove her wrong.

He kept staring at her hands and the design trying to find it. He saw how Naina kept grinning as if she thought he'll never find it but he had already found it in the first instance but just wanted to tease her by not finding it. "Don't worry I'm going to find it."

"Hmmm dekhai de raha hai." She smirked mocking him.

"Mera naam or kaha hoga" he traced his finger over her palm making her tickle and stopped in the top right corner at a heart shape which had an intricate 'Raj' written in it. "siwai tumhaare dil pe." He flashed one of his adoring smiles.

"You knew from the beginning didn't you?"

"Well yes kyu ke tumhaaree koi bhi baat mujhse chupee nahi. Or yeh to mera hee naam hai jo ke maine tumhaare dil pe bohat pehlese likhdiya hai to ose dhoodhne kee mujhe koi zaroorat nahi."

She pulled both his cheeks as if he was a cute chubby kid, "I love you so much."

Then both of them sat on the sofa cuddled into each other with dessert double chocolate ice cream. Naina enjoyed teasing him with it by holding it in front of him but moved it away every time he tried to take it. She just couldn't stop laughing and Rajveer couldn't stop staring at her. One thing he adored about her was her gorgeous smile which made her whole face shine. Then she put a big spoonful of the ice cream in her mouth still laughing at him. Her lips were all covered in chocolate just like an innocent child. It aroused his senses immediately and he bent down and without a warning took her lips to savour the sweet taste.

She responded back and the spoon fell out of her hands and she was pushed back by Rajveer against the cushions on the sofa as he pressed his weight over her. He was drugged on the kiss now and he just didn't want to let go. She didn't want him to either. Her hands brushed through his hair as he pushed further. His tongue had a war with her in her mouth as he forced himself in.

Then he lifted his lips away from her and stared down at her catching on his breath. He moved away the sweaty hair tendril away from her face. "Now that was far more fun then eating direct from the tub." He smacked his lips together still licking the taste off them.

"Seriously you're impossible." She scoffed.

"Impossibly in love with you madam." He chuckled and then attempted to get up but she held him down against her. They both stared into each other's eyes as if they had just met and he could clearly read in her eyes what she was asking him to do. The passion was evident and the urge to dwell into the desire was there too. He hated it when she played with his male urges like this as he found it very hard to control them. He also wanted to drop all the boundaries between them finally but it just wasn't the right time yet. "Me jaanta hu Naina ke tum kya chahtee ho but right now is not the right time." He played with her hair on the side of her face. "If I do take you now then it'll have to be a quick run and I don't want that. I want that when I do make love to you I shower all the love to you that I have for you that it's not even enough to finish. You deserve only that Naina, only that."

"Why do you love me so much?"

"Now that's a tricky question. Hmmm.let me see.maybe because you're worth it." With that he sat up and allowed her to do so too. She straightened her clothes and then sat down next to him again snuggling into him, resting her head on his shoulder.

"Rajveer"

"Hmmm." He had his eyes closed as if he was exhausted by the day's activities.

"What are we going to do now? What's our next step?"

"The first thing I need to do is obtain those death certificates from Bharghav's possession. He's planning on playing the same dirty game again Naina but this time I won't let him do it. Is baar jeet sirf hamaree hogi."

She cuddled in even more and put her arm around his waist. "Ha there's no doubt in that."

After spending another hour or so with each other Rajveer decided it was time to return back before Bharghav sent out a search party for them. She changed and then she bade him goodbye only to meet again in a while back at the head quarters. They had to go separately so there are no ways of tracing their footsteps. Plus Rajveer had to go back as Jai as it was soon time for Bharghav's daily massage. He had to go and make preparations for that. Tonight he was going to take the perfect opportunity and search for the certificates during the massage would be going on.

Back at the headquarters Bharghav was engaged in a phone call. "Sir I know it's still taking time but our man is on top of it. By now he has already obtained the secret codes for the secured safe and soon will have the job finished..yes I do understand the urgency.yes sir it shall be done.the latter part has already been taken care of.no he won't find out at all.Yes sir." Then he ended the call smirking in the mirror. "What you don't understand is that I'll out beat you too and then you'll be bowing down to me. Just a matter of few days and I'll have possession on those triggers and they'll make me the king." He gave an evil cackle whilst celebrating his success so far.

Then Jai arrived and he prepared everything for the massage whilst keeping his eyes here and there to find anything out of the ordinary. He knew Bharghav must have something special about the hidden place which would help him notice it at once but so far nothing seemed to be found.

When the massage was going on he had to stay in the room with Bharghav for assistance but he knew that half of the time he was asleep so he could use that time for his investigation. He sat out looking around the room for clues with one eye still onto Bharghav. He couldn't understand where the secret chamber could be where he kept everything as he knew he wasn't stupid enough to keep it lying around with a thief like R2 around. He continued searching when he found a small latch. He moved it slightly and saw that part of the bookshelf moved. He smiled as he got what he was looking for and was about to move it a bit more but Bharghav called him so he pulled the latch and closed the gap. He decided he'll come back later as now he knew where it was.

Near midnight as Sonia was sound asleep she felt this strange breeze touching her. She opened her eyes slightly still half asleep and saw that the window was open and the curtains were flying. She remembered closing the windows before sleeping but now they were open so she dragged herself out of bed and walked deliriously to close them. After they were closed she went back to lie down.

After a few minutes she felt the same breeze so opened her eyes to find the windows open again. She couldn't understand how it was possible but it was a bit chilly so she got up and went to close the windows when she froze as if she had seen a ghost. Actually that's what it was. Outside she found Yudi standing with blood oozing out, just like when he was shot. She couldn't believe her eyes and thought that she was imagining it so quickly shut the windows and closed her eyes tight. Then when she looked again he was no longer there which calmed her down that it was just an illusion.

When she turned around she got a fright again as Yudi stood there in the same condition as outside. Her eyes became wide with horror and she clutched onto the curtains really tight. "Whatwhwhathow you're dead so how did you" she was too caught with fright to speak.

"You killed me SoniaI wasn't supposed to die then so now I'm roaming around with unfinished business and only then can I pass on." The spirit of Yudi spoke back at her.

"What rubbish! I don't believe in ghosts and spirits." She was trembling but tried to hide it, "you're just my illusion and that's it." She closed her eyes tight again as before and then when she opened them to her relief Yudi wasn't there. She was really sleepy so she was only hallucinating so she decided to just go back and lie down and then everything would be alright. As she quickly climbed in and turned to the left side she shrieked. "Aaah!" Yudi was sleeping next to her now and this time she really freaked out. She quickly jumped out of bed and went for the door trembling with fear and soon she ran out of the room.

Jai was in Bharghav's room and was attempting to open the latch again as Bharghav had gone out. He had got to it when he heard a loud scream so he became cautious and moved away from there to see what was happening.

As he got into the corridor a frantic Sonia ran his way and collided with him. He was annoyed and gave her a glare. "What the hell do you think you're doing at this hour?"

She didn't say anything and quickly hid behind him, clutching onto him. "Jai, help mehelp me please there's a monster in my room. He's following me."

"What!" he was amused, "come on Sonia did you only find me at this hour to play your ridiculous prank?" he released himself from her grip and began walking but she followed him and held onto him again.

"Please don't leave me. Please." She seemed terrified.

"Okay, calm down and tell me what happened." He pretended to show concern but he could care less. He wanted her to leave him alone so he could get back with his work before Bharghav returned.

Sonia was too freaked out to tell him anything and she couldn't really tell him or he'll know the truth. The person who she needed was R2 right then because he was the only one who would understand her. "I guess I was just dreaming and" touched her forehead and sighed. "I'm sorry I guess I'll go back now." She left from there without saying anything and then Jai grinned. Then he went back to Bharghav's room but to his disappointment Bharghav had already arrived back so he was left in despair. There was no point in staying around there as Jai anymore for the night so he left the room and changed back to R2 and sauntered towards his room. Then he thought better, he'll go and meet Naina.

He left the building and from the back he stood under her room window. He would use his old trick and climb up and then call her out. He was not feeling sleepy and needed some company. When he was midway he heard that same scream again which made him loose balance and he fell onto the ground with a THUD! What was with the interruption tonight? He quickly got up and ran from there before someone found him and he was surprised that no one else was able to hear the horrid scream. Then it came again which alerted his senses and he wanted to find out what was up with it.

Then he saw someone run swiftly across the corridor. He thought he just imagined it so he went in that direction to make sure and as he turned around he was welcomed by a loud shriek right in his ear. He held onto his ears with irritation. "God shut up! Are you going to make me deaf?"

Sonia was relieved to see it wasn't Yudi but R2 so she flung herself in his arms. "Oh thank God it's you and not that awful zombie."

"What zombie?" he tried moving her away but she was not ready to leave. Great this is what he needed on this sleepless night. But then again he was R2 and he had to bring that charm again to console Sonia, not that he was interested but he had no choice. "Hey babes, why are you crying? Come on tell me what happened."

"He's after me R2, he's after me."

"Who?"

"YuYudi."

He almost lost balance, "Yudi? Honey he's dead."

"I know it's his ghost, he's following me, torturing meoh God" she clung onto R2 even more making him want to get out even more.

"What rubbish? Look Sonia I'm sure you must've seen a nightmare that's all." He pulled her out holding onto her hands but she was still frightened.

"I'm telling the truth. Come with me to my room and I'll show you." She dragged him with her to her room. Then made him open the door as she was scared to do it. He just shook his head and opened the door casually and then switched on the lights.

"You see, no one's here. You were just imagining it."

She put her hand over her perspiring forehead and leaned back against the door. "here you look pale, come and sit down." He took her towards the bed and made her sit down. Then he poured a glass of water and handed it over to her. She took it and began drinking when suddenly her eyes popped out and she dropped the glass. "Aaah!"

R2 became afraid too, "What? What? Why are you screaming?"

"He's there.hehehe" she pointed towards the curtains as she saw him again behind them.

He stood up and walked up to the curtains slowly and then with a rapid stroke opened up the curtains with both his hands and saw nothing was there and the window was also closed. "You see, there is nothing here. You're just imagining it." He went and sat down next to her. He saw she was trembling so he held her hands to stop it. "Why are you doing this now Sonia? This should have been forgotten long ago and you know it. If Bharghav finds out then it's over. Did you forget why we had to kill him? He was a threat to us because he was one of the spies. Now if you start this again then we'll be back to square one."

"I know, but I can't help it."

"Perhaps it's your guilty conscience talking. Get over it Sonia and now you can't ruin this. I'd told you that if you want to join my game then you've got to keep this in you. If you're not prepared to then I won't be able to help you." He left her hands and stood up. Then she also stood up and grabbed his hands quickly.

"Wait, you're right, I've got to get a hold of myself." She gained composure again and smiled, "I guess I was just too tired and.

"Oh my God haaawww!!!!!!!!!" this time it was R2's turn to freak out. Sonia saw his face had turned pale and the way he panicked alarmed her so she turned around and she also got a fright. Yudi stood there with blood coming out of his eyes and he had this wicked smile.

"You believe me now?" Sonia asked whilst moving back with him, scared down to her core. He nodded and kept staring at Yudi or his zombie more like it. "Whwhat do you want? IIummm."

Yudi's zombie just kept laughing and advancing towards them, "you thought you'll kill me and get away with it. Oh notch, tch, tch." He was near them now and they were able to see his decaying skin and knew that he certainly was a zombie. "I'm going to kill you so finally I can get peace and move on." He began getting near and was about to touch Sonia when R2 grabbed her hand and both of them ran out of the room together hand in hand. At that time they could think of nothing else but to run for their lives. This zombie was totally true as two people can never imagine together.

When they were running they were so involved that they didn't see a wall in between and both of them fell on the two opposite sides. "It's better that we divide up so then it'll be easier to confuse him." R2 said as he stood up again. She didn't want to go alone but she had no choice as he had already left her. Then she thought she was a grown up woman who can take care of herself so she didn't need any man to save her now either.

It took her fifteen minutes to reach near a dark corridor of the HQ. Somewhere she had never been before since she had been there so it was a new place. She carried on walking with her heart racing as it was creepy. It was dead silent and the place was dark and plus a zombie was on her trail. Now she regretted letting R2 leave her like that. Anyhow she decided to put up a brave front and continue walking down the passage to see what was there. She came to a halt soon as it was a dead end with a door facing her. She opened it up and it opened with a creak showing it must have been locked for a long time. She saw it was dark and was full of cobwebs increasing on the whole horror atmosphere. With each step her heart rate increased and it felt as if her heart would pop out with the rate it was pumping at.

Suddenly there was a sound of something falling which made her jump but then when she saw it was only some loose wood thrown by the wind she calmed down but was shook up. Then she felt something run across her feet so she yelped and saw something run really fast on the floor. It was a rat and she was terrified so began running from there but to her horror the door was shut and it was locked. She desperately tried to open it but it didn't budge. She knocked and yelled for help but it went in vain.

Then there was a hissing sound coming from the dark corner. She slowly turned around trembling with fear. She didn't see anyone which increased her fear even more. "who is it? I said who is it?" she raised her voice but couldn't see anyone. She moved further to see who it was.

From the dark out stepped a figure who she was unable to configure in the beginning but then the face slowly turned towards her and she was ready to have a heart attack. It was none other than Yudi and this time he was ready with a knife. He looked more horrendous than before and this time she didn't even have R2 to save her. She began moving back and Yudi kept moving forward.

"Now you can't escape me, ha ha ha ha ahahaha." He continued laughing scaring her even more.

"Stay away from mestay away" she flee from there to try the door again but it was still not ready to budge. Then she ran towards the other end of the room to see if there was any other escape or not but there were only walls. She still didn't give up and kept running and finally hid behind a stack of wood piles. She caught her breath and wiped off the sweat from her forehead and leaned back against the pile.

After five minutes a pair of hands burst through the piles and grabbed onto her neck. "Aaah!" she yelled and tried freeing herself but the grip was strong. Then she pulled really hard and was able to get out and then began running away from there throwing things she found in the way to prevent him from coming near her but she forgot that he was a zombie who couldn't be prevented by material things anymore. Then to her luck she noticed a small window on the other side and her heart leaped with joy. She had to make it to it before Yudi caught her.

With all her force she ran for it and reached and climbed up to get out and she was half way through when she felt force on her legs. He had caught her to her horror. She screamed and tried kicking him away but it was just not easy. Eventually she succeeded and climbed out of the window but fell down in a thorn bush. At that moment it didn't concern her and she forgot her pain and just began running away from there into the dark night. Before she realised she crashed against a stone and fell down on her face hitting her head quite hard and she passed out.

Then a man stood over her laughing his head out making fun of her. "Maine kaha tha ke mere saath rehna hai to mere jese hee karna hoga. Ab dekhte hai kabtak yeh episode chalega of Ghost bana dost".
