Part 15
Ragini was bz decorating the room....she was very conscious of Ranvir around her...who was also helping her decorate the room....when he comes to one side of the room....she goes to the other....hoping he'll not notice the distance she wants to maintain.
On the other hand....Ranvir was infact noticing the cat-mouse game that Ragini was playing with him...he infact liked it...coz it was keeping him entertained...and he was trying to come close to her deliberately.
But they both bumped into each other when they held the same box....thier hands touched and Ranvir clearly felt Ragini jump under his touch...Ragini tried to move her hand fast but Ranvir caught her hand in his and said...."aapko mujhse darr toh nahi lag raha na ???"
Ragini was actually afraid now to be alone with him in the same room...he was now too expressive of his love for her but that was scaring her a little....she did loved him but hers was more reserved kinda love....she herself was not this expressive.
With a shaky tone...she replied..."darr....nahi toh."
Ranvir knew she was kinda scared of him….so he slowly moved away his hand as he didnt wanted her to be tooo uncomfortable around him.
Ragini felt a lil releived when Ranvir moved his hand away from hers and then helped her open the box...Inside the box they found so many precious pics of Ragini's family...all framed nicely.
Ranvir was also surprised….she turned to Ragini and said…."wow…..this is nice….bahut achchi memories hogi na…inn sab ke saath??"
Ragini didn't look at Ranvir coz even she was lost in the pics…she was so glad that Sadhna had put so much thought in these…she had tears in her eyes looking at each pic….the pics were from their childhood till now…very beautifully arranged.
Still looking at the pics….she nodded and said…."hmm….bahut saari yaadein….kuch achchi….kuch…."
Ragini felt like crying when she remembered all the pain she went through since her childhood….only coz of her color…now all of a sudden she became even more conscious of her color.
She became serious and wiped her tears and without saying another word….started taking out the pics from the box….ranvir was observing all this….he knew what she was about to say…..and why she discontinued her sentence…and now why she was suddenly ignoring him…..he felt hurt as well and so he kept quite as he wanted to give her sometime to calm down and forget her sorrow and pain.
Then they got bz putting up all the pics on the wall in a beautiful order…and when Ragini turned…she saw Ranvir just standing at one place and staring at one of pics on the wall….she came and stood by him and noticed that he was looking at her childhood pic in a dancing pose.
Even before she could ask anything….Ranvir said…."aap jaanti hai…meri Anamika…"
Ragini looked at him immediately when he said 'meri Anamika'….but Ranvir was still staring at the picture….and continued…"aap….dance bahut achcha karti hai…"
Ranvir now turned to look at Ragini and then Ragini looked down….Ranvir held her hand in his and turned her towards him and said….."maine jab aapko pehli baar dance karte hue dekha tha….Taj Mahotsav mein….main toh bas aapka ussi din se fan ho gaya tha…."
He came a little closer and like whisper he said…"voh toh main abhi bhi hoon…..fan samjhiye ya aapka deewana….jo aapko apna banaker rahega."
And then he let her hand go….stepped back a little and stared at her for a while and when she didn't look up…he turned and left the room….leaving Ragini all blushing.
Ragini also came out and gestured Sadhna that the decoration was done….but Sadhna gestured back saying…"its dinner time".
Ragini came and stood by Sadhna and said…"hum cake pehle kata denge…"
Sadhna said…."nahi jiji….pehle dinner karle phir hum araam se celeberate kar sakenge."
It was dinner time and everyone is bz seating themselves....Alekh sits between Sadhna and Ragini and there is the empty seat bside Ragini....Vineet was abt to come and sit beside Ragini when Ranvir meets Vineet on the same place and stands there talking to him for a while....and very ignorantly walks on Vineet's other side where now Ranvir is beside Ragini and Vineet is beside Ranvir now and then Ranvir gestures Vineet to sit...and they both sit, in thier places still talking with each other.
Ragini who was talking to Sadhna very openly....turns to look on the other side...when she feels someone sitting beside her....She all of a sudden become concious as soon as she realizes that the person sitting beside her is Ranvir....who was bz in his conversation with Vineet.
Ragini started shaking n every time Ranvir's hand moved....the touch of the fabric of his jacket made her pulse race faster....She cudnt control her emotions and the color of her skin changed...which clearly made her look like she was blushing.
Ranvir on the other hand...even though pretending to be stronger cudnt control his emotions either...He knew she was too concious of him and not to make her more uncomfortable he was trying to avoid her....but everytime he turned in her direction to repond to Alekh's questions...he cud smell her scent...n cud feel her shake when his breath fell on her skin....
Everytime when Ragini's bangles made a sound...Ranvir cud feel his heart skip a beat....He then stared at her hand and her bangles and looked up to have a glance of her expression on her face....Right then Ragini turned to look at him and their eyes met….Ranvir stared at her for a while and then he smiled….Ragini with a confused expression….looked at him and with her eyes asked him 'what?'….Ranvir very lovingly smiled wide and shook his head as though saying 'nothing'…..a chill ran through her spine when Ragini noticed Ranvir's stare moving from her eyes to her lips….she was aware of others around her and so she turned away and concentrated on her food to avoid his stare.
