"Jaanthi hoon main Misthi ki sahali hoon." she replied, Angad immidietly started stammering, "Misthi babhi ke saheli."
"Haan Mr. Khanna aur agar aap mere saath flirt kya tho I'm sure aap ko tho patha hai ke kya hoga." she replied, "Ji haan umm sorry... vo aap please...."
"Don't worry main yeah baath kisi ko bhi nahi bathaungi." she reassured him as he left to go on his own path, that was Angad Khanna. A large flirt with a great sense of humor not to mention hot, still there was only one person he was afraid of in his entier life. His friend Misthi, some one who will come up latter in this story. Now back to the plot, he walked up to Naina's cabin and knocked the door, "Hi mom."
"Aare Angad beta andar aao." she replied, "Bolo kya hua ke aaj tum achanak tum use yahan par ayi ho?"
"Kuch nahi baas yeah kehene aaya tha ke aaj ke party ke thyari hogaye hai. I supervised the whole thing my self." he replied as a pune came in with his drink, "Great, I know it would be a hit. Tum ne supervise jo kia."
"Thanks mum, aur haan venu has been set. Bill aur advance ka details aap ko do din main mil jayega." he added sipping his drink, Naina acnowladged it as she continued to read through another file, "Aur haan dadi ne ziid pakad raki hai ke main Mukti ko bhi lekar jaun mere saath apni weekend par."
"Kaunse vo beach house wali? Par kyun beta?" she asked looking up suprised, "Vahi purani kahani, hum use attention nahi dete hai aur use dena chahiye...."
"Ma bhi na patha nahi use aise kyun lagtha hai ke hum Mukti ko ignore karthe hai." Naina sighed, "Aur Angad beta tum to janthe ho na agar ma ne yeah zid pakadliya tho us ladki ko lekar janahe padega tuje. Don't worry beta I'll talk to her, vo aap logon ke saath aayegi phir bhi pareshan nahi karegi."
"Thank you so much mum aap tho mera sabse bada musibath ko solv kar diya." he smiled, "I just hope trip ke waqth vo aise kuch nahi karti jiske wajai se gang ke mood karab hojaye."
"Be positive love." Naina smiled Angad rolled his eyes finnishing his drink he placed it down and picked up his bags, "By mom see you at home."
"By love." she smiled, going back to her work. Yes, Naina Khanna was a very good mother to her children just as she was a good enterpurnare. She always pampered Angad and gave him an advice in such a way that it would always help him get his way with out getting a 'bad name' among anyone. "Hi Karthik!"
"Hi Angad, mom se milne aaya tha?" his brother stopped with a large affectionate smile, that's Karthik Khnna the boy who took care of the bussiness as well as an affectionate brother, he was after all "Haan vo party ke baare main."
"Haan muje yaad hai baba." he smiled, "Aur haan weekend ka trip tho tai hogaya na?"
"Don't ask." Angad replied sadly, "Dadi ne kehediya ke main Mukti ko bhi apne saath lekar jaun."
"Oh God." Kartick groaned, "Tera trip ko kya hoga bechara us ladki ke saath tho tume na jane..."
"I know lekin mom ne kaha ke vo Mukti ko samjayenge so I'm cool." he grinned at his brother, "Great any ways suno muje jaana hoga."
"Sure bro, see you at home." he waved and walked away placeing back his i-pod in his ear and humming a tune. Getting into the car he drove away after placeing the i-pod along with the car radio, he was after all the cool son of the Khanna's who was soon going to become a doctor. Soon to enter into his second year he was going to become a senior! He was going to be enjoy the free time, his holiday. He was going to spending a weekend with his friends.... what he did not know was, that trip was going to be the start of a long journy. A journy that would make him understand the past and start closing a years old growing gap.
Sharma House
A large house with a homely garden stood comes into the view of the camera.... zooming in there is a beautyful hall being set with flowers placed in the vaises. Just then some one dressed in black tracks and a baggy yellow t-shirt walked in, the servents who are working stopped seeing him, "Good morning sir ji..."
"Hmm..." he nodded as he took the news paper from the servent's hands and began reading as he walked down the stairs, from the staircase nearby came a lady dressed in a pink cotton sari, her hands were decorated with beautyful pink bangles with gold ones at each end. "Mr. Anurag Basu aap aabhi aaye hai aur aabhi se aap paper ko padna shuru kardiya. Aar kam se kam aarthi tho lelo."
"Sorry Sam." Anurag smiled at her, that was Anurag Basu a great bussiness tycoon and a great father for his three kids. His wife Sampatha 'Sam' Basu was a famous writer with great stories, "Waise bache kahan hai?"
"Bache tho aabhi aabhi gayi hai excersice karne ke lia. Tume tho patha hai na A.B donon kithne jude hue hai ek duje se." she replied, "I know Sam... lekin aayenge kaab?"
"AAARE YEAH TUM KYA KAR RAHE HO?" a girl screamed from top of the stairs, "Tumse baagne ka koshis kar raha hoon sister."
Sam smiled, "Shayad thode deer main."
"Ruko... aaj main tume nahi chodungi." the girl yelled as two figures dashed down the corridor, "Aare sorry, sorry..."
"Yudi ka bacha agar tum aab ruke nahi na tho main tume vo halath karungi..." the two of them dashed down till a point when the girl almost bumped into Sam, "Sam mami dekiye na yeah Yudi muje phir se chedne laga hai."
"Kya hua Kripa beta?" she asked smilling at the girl who was dressed in a beautyful brown chudidar her hair still wet from the quick shower she had taken, "Phir se is ladka ne muje pareshan kia.... es baar phir se tiika ko meri chehere par lagadia."
Sam laughed indeed Prem had spread the teeka over her right cheek, "Hay you are my sis, aur sare bai apne behen ko hamesha chedthe hai."
Anurag smiled seeing how what his son was doing, his white kurtha's it self was set with red tika paste. The young man fit more into the image of his second name than his first with his eye-brow ring and cool-dude attitude. Prem Yudi Basu, his son... the son of his first wife Prerna. "Are beta kya kar rahi ho?"
"Kuch nahi dad baas de ko irritate kar raha tha. You know how Yudi is hamesha natkat aur usi ke saath pyar." he replied, Sampatha rolled her eyes, "Beta tum Kripa ko hamesha kyun pareshan karthe ho?"
"Esiliye step-mom, kyunki vo meri behen hai." Prem replied rubbing his hands showing of his favorite rung, "Aab if you don't mind main ja raha hoon exersice karne ke liya. By by."
"Dekiya na mami us ladka ne phir se...." Kripa complained, "Janthi hoon beta lekin pyar kartha hai esiliye yeah saab kartha hai vo ladka tere saath."
"I know mami... aap ko tho patha hai na ke meri ma aur bai ke achanak mauth ke baad Prem na hi muje sambala tha." she replied tears filling in her eyes thinking of her dead parents, "Agar Prem nahi hotha tho shayad main kabhi..."
"Janthi hoon beta." Sam replied touching her shoulder, "Any ways chalo exersice ka waqth hogaya."
Anurag watched as the girl went away and turned to Sam, "Thank you Sam."
"Kiske liya A.B?" Sam asked turning to him with a suprise in her face, "Kripa aur Prem ko ek maa ke pyar dene ke liya agar tum nahi hothe tho patha nahi kya kar patha main."
Sam placed a hand over his lips, "Nahi A.B maine jo kuch bhi kya apne liya kia. Tume tho patha hai na..."
"Patha hai Sam still thank you so much tumhare siva koi nahi hai jo yeah kaam ethne ache thara sambal sakthe hai." he hugged her emotionally, just then some one came in dressed in cream jeans and a black shirt and jacket combination. Some bags had been set down with some more bags as well and smiled at the couple, "Aare wah kya romance hai vo bhi jaab jawan bache ghar par hai."
"Shravan?" Sampatha turned and smiled at the man standing there, "Hi Sampatha aunty!"
Running up to them he touched their feet and got their blessings, "So good do see the two of you."
"Beta... aarhi aur prashad lelo." she replied, "Thank you aur haan uncle hume vo contract mill gaya vo loog kaal arahe hai yahan par finalise karne ke lia."
"I knew ke tume zarur karsake ho. Congradulations beta tum tho ek din ek bahoth ache bussiness magannet banega." Shravan smiled, "Thanks uncle...ab mai jaa kar fresh hotha hoon waise aunty muje ek strong coffee ke zarurath hai."
"Tume apni coffee tho milega." she replied, "Jao aur naha kar aajo."
"Sure lekin please thoda zyada chakar." Shravan begged before going to his room, Sam and Anurag laughed at the action of the boy. Shravan Basu, Anurag's elder brother's son: the brother who had died a very long time ago when he was just seven. Since then Shravan had been Anurag Basu's surrogate son and the eldest son of the Basu house. Ristha, is the story of these people and some more.... the story of four people mainly who come together as a team for saving one person.
