In the afternoon

Rajveer was busy getting ready in front of the mirror, brushing his hair and all of a sudden the brush in his hand changed into a hand fan. He was alarmed that what was that and then he got a bigger shock when in the mirror he saw his clothes had changed from being the expensive cool ones to a torn vest and half pants. Then he heard someone's command which made him look down and there he found Naina. She lay there all clad in a beautiful gown adorned in expensive jewellery from head till toe. The command was for him to continue fanning her. He had no choice but to follow and it was an unbelievable state. What was going on he didn't know but he knew he had no control over it. Tears appeared in his eyes and he opened his mouth to rebel but something else came out.

Rajveer: Jab se huwee hai shaadi, aasoo baha raha hu

Aafat gale paree hai

Osko nibha raha hu

He referred to Naina sleeping

Then all of sudden he found himself somewhere else. He now stood in the bathroom where he saw Naina having a luxiorious tub bath whilst he stood beside holding her clothes for her. He wasn't allowed to look at her but he felt he was her husband and who had the right then him but as he stood there fretting, she had finished and had wrapped a towel around her. She came and snatched her clothes off him as she teased him for being a poor soul. As she left he slapped his forehead for such bad fortune.

Rajveer: Biwi milee hai aisee, wo kaam kya karegi

Wo lux me naha kar khubhu me tar rahe gee

He removed his vest and sat down cross legged beside the toilet seat.

He picked up dried broken pieces of the soap and applied it on him by dipping it in the dirty water of the toilet.

It came the time for everything to change again all of a sudden. This time he was in his bedroom with Naina sleeping all comfortably on the bed whilst he sat on the floor by the foot, staring at the clock.

Rajveer: Baara baje ghari me, madam ji sorahee hai

Baccho ki fauj aake, meree jaan ko ro rahee hai

Just then a dozen kids came rushing in, pulling onto him and pesturing him asking for food. He got annoyed and told them to shut up but they didn't listen and dragged him towards the

kitchen.

Rajveer: Baara baje ghari me, madam ji sorahee hai

Baccho ki fauj aake, meree jaan ko ro rahee hai

Baccho ke beech betha

He sat by a big cooking pot and cooked food whilst all the kids surrounded him. His eyes were full of tears.

Rajveer: Baccho ke beech betha, khaana pakaraha hu

Jab se huwi hai shaadi, aasoo baha raha hu

Aafat gale paree hai, osko nibhaa raha hu

The scene came back to square one where he was in his lavish clothes again.

Rajveer: Dunya ko yeh pata hai, begum ka me hu shohar

Is ghar ka me tha maalik

Ab bangaya hu naukar

His clothes disappeared and he was back in the torn vest and half pants. He felt terrible.

Rajveer: Dunya ko yeh pata hai, begum ka me hu shohar

Bistar laga raha hu

In the bedroom he made the bed proper complaining whilst Naina was busy playing cards with Neelu.

Rajveer: Dekha yehi haal hota hai

Bistar laga raha hu, chaddar bicha raha hu

Aafat gale paree hai, osko nibhaa raha hu

He wanted to strangle himself to death as this life was choking itself. He cried his eyes out over his unfortunate fate and then crawled towards her.

Rajveer: Jab se huwee hai shaadi, aasoo baha raha hu

Aafat gale paree hai

He kept pointing towards her.

Rajveer: Osko nibha raha hu

He wailed like a child as if the world had ended. Then Naina glared at him to make him stop and he composed himself and gave a clown smile.

It was then that everything faded and Rajveer woke up with cold sweat. He wiped it and saw how he had dozed off on the sofa itself. It was all Rishi's fault for messing his brain about Naina and marriage and now he could only think about what he had said. He was going to kill him.

Sometime later Rishi ran around the house whilst a crazy Rajveer ran after him as if he really was going to murder him. He kept warning Rajveer not to do this or he'll get hurt but Rajveer was too mad to listen to him now. Finally he clutched on his shirt from the back and then put his force on him.

Rishi: (tried to control his laughter as he struggled underneath him) abhe neend teri, sapna tera to isme meri kya ghalati hai yaar?

Rajveer: teree hee wajese wo sab bakwaas mere dimaag me aaya. Pata nahi kya kya sochne lag gaya hu me

Rishi: sacchi? (laughed uncontrollably)

Rajveer got more disappointed so he began strangling Rishi. If Sameer, Alekh and Varun hadn't come then Rishi would certainly had been history. They separated the two and asked Rajveer what exactly happened. When they heard about the dream all of them also burst into splits of laughter as it was just too hilarious.

Rajveer: meree yaha pe haalat kharaab hai or tum log maze se hass rahe ho

Sameer: To kya kare tune baat hi aisee kahee hai (tried to control but wasn't easy) Is Rishi ki to aadat hai mazaak karne kee or tu hai ke seriously le liya

They all laughed again whilst Rajveer just frowned and walked from there. They followed.

Rishi: I'm sorry Raj per abhi teree shakal dekhne laayak hai (hissed) kya paplu bana hai tera ke me kya batao

Rajveer: ha ha hassle (sarcastic) jitna hasna hai hassle. Musibat to mere gale aane waali hai na

Sameer: Come on Raj yeh kesee baate karaha hai (held onto his shoulders) kya tujhe sach me aisa lagta hai ke Naina tere saath aisa karegee? Tu ne hee to mujhe bataya tha ke wo tujhse kitna pyaar kartee hai, izzat kartee hai teree to phir tujhe ghulaam banaehgee wo?

Rishi: (still full of mischief) Ha baat to sahi hai. Lekin Raj kabhi kabhi jo dikhta hai wo hota nahi

Sameer: Oh stop it Rishi. (looked back towards Rajveer who was still upset) Tu abhi bhi wo sab soch raha hai? Dekh Raj aaj tera sangeet hai or kal teri shaadi to phir ab yeh sab kyu soch raha hai? Just relax or bus apna or Naina ka pyaar yaad rakhna.

Rajveer: Tu theek kehraha hai. Pata nahi me kyu aisee bewacoofi ki baate lekar betha hu

His phone rang so he picked it up.

Rajveer: (smiled) ha Naina bolo

Naina: sorry Raj mai aaj tumhe aise disturb karahee hu per kya karu ek bari problem hogayee hai or ghar me, kisee or ko nahi kehsakti

Rajveer: Kya huwa Naina, batao mujhe

Naina: Actually kuch last minute cheeze rehgayee hai jo ke mujhe karnee thi per rehgayee hai or ab mujhe bohat daant paregee. Please Raj help me

Rajveer: (consoled her) Dekho don't worry Naina me sab sambhaalunga. Tum mujhe bus batao ke kya kya karna hai or me dekhta hu

She began her list of things and Rajveer listened. He felt it was non ending and eventually frowned as he was the groom and wasn't supposed to go around doing errrands in his wedding. But he didn't want to disappoint Naina as she looked pretty upset already.

Naina: I'm sorry Raj per kya karu itna saara kaam hai or aaj raat se pehle wo saaree cheese pohochaanee hai. Kya mere liye itna bhi nahi karoge (asked in a sweet tone)

Rajveer: its okay Naina me kuch karta hu.

After he cut the phone he found all his friends staring at him and grinning.

Rajveer: Actually guys wo Naina kuch problem me hai to wo osko me…

Rishi: to tu forun jaaraha hai oska kaam karne. (shook his head) bangaya na shaadi se pehle oska ghulaam.

Rajveer: isme ghulaami ki baat kaha se aagayee. Oska bus thora kaam hai wo me karne jaa raha hu

Varun: acha? (sly smile) aisa kounsa kaam hai jo wo tujhe suna rahee thi or tu gai ki tarha sab sunraha tha

Rajveer: bus kuch cheese kahi pohochaani thi or phir mall se oska kuch laana…

Rishi: Dekha (clasped his hands together) abhi se tujhe oskee shopping karne ke liye bhej rahee hai. Ghulaami ka pehla qadam.

Rajveer: (irritated) you guys are wrong. Me koi oska ghulaam nahi or naahi me oske ishaaro pe chalta hu (his phone rang again and he picked it up with haste thinking it was Naina) Ha Naina me jaa raha hu…

Gehlot: Kaha jaarahe hai sahib ziade?

Rajveer: (closed his eyes and bit his lip) are dad aap? Nahi wo bus aise hee…bus yu…

Gehlot: Khair jo bhi ho maine phone isliye kiya tha ke me sham tak ghar pohoch jaunga. Meeting lag bag khatam hogayee hai theek hai.

Rajveer: ok dad

As he cut the phone all his four friends were rolling on the floor again with laughter. He was proved wrong and they loved to see his face right then. He just gave them all dirty looks and walked out of there.

Alekh: ab hame jaana chaheeye, bohat saara kaam baaki hai

Rishi: ha ab baaki ki khichai raat ko karenge

Rishi and Varun laughed but Alekh and Sameer weren't too keen in joining in.

Alekh: come on guys give him a break

Sameer: yeh guys leave him alone. Shaadi hai oski

Rishi: abhe shaadi hai isliye hee to oski taang khichsakte hai. Ab aaya hai haath me to kese chore de

Alekh: tum log to oske ghusse se waakif ho phir bhi…(rolled tongue in cheek) it's a bad idea kyu ke agar ose ghussa aagaya to phir kahi shaadi hee na cancel hojai

Varun: Relax. Hum thori na kuch aisa karenge ke wo ghussa hojai. (stood up and brought them all in together) ab shaadi hai to osme masti dhamaal nahi hogee to kitna phika hojaehga.

Alekh: phir bhi I think it's a bad idea

Rishi: theek hai to phir tu sab bhool gaya. Bhool gaya ke osne tere saath kya kya kiya hai. Kitnee baar tujhe college me sataya or phir wo teri pehli date pe (he didn't go further on purpose to instigate Alekh further) ab jab moka mila hai tu fiada nahi lega.

Alekh thought about everything that had happened and finally agreed that it was time for Rajveer to pay it back. It was the perfect time and he joined hands with the other two. Sameer was still hesitant but they convinced him eventually and he joined in too. Now they were going to rock the sangeet tonight.

Ahluwalia's residence

All the boys had gathered around again in one part of the hall as if were waiting for something. All of them were arguing as if a contest was going on and then soon were silenced.

Shaina: silence! (everyone obeyed) so boys tum sab mere saath aaj raat ke function me dance karna chahte ho? (all of them agreed and tried to come before the other) well mere saath dance karne ke liye bohat saaree sharte hai or jo wo puree karega wo hee mere saath dance karega (she grinned whilst all of them drooled over her. She loved the attention all the time) so who wants to dance in the sangeet with me? (she winked and watched how all of them were dying to go with her)

She told them her conditions about how they had to go about doing all the chores for her. The person who got her most things would be the winner. All the boys got excited and ran around out beating the other whilst she stood there laughing. None of them were capable for her but she just loved teasing them and getting all the attention.

It took some time for all of them to get half of the things done as were too busy spoiling it for the other. Then she decided to make it easy for them and got hold of a flower veil. She said that she'll close her eyes and whoever the veil got into she'll dance with that one. So the game was set and she raomed around with her eyes closed amongst them. The boys kept pushing each other out of the way to get the veil and finally she put it on someone. All of them just kept staring with horror as to what happened was unexpected. The veil had been put on a guy's neck but it wasn't any of them. Where did he come from?

Shaina: (opened her eyes and was disappointed) Tum?

Varun: (smirked) aapka sewak aapke saamne haazir hai

Shaina: lagta hai police kee maar ne akal theekaane nahi lagayee. Ab to mujhe hee sikhaana parega (picked her hand to attack but he stopped it midway)

Varun: are are yeh kya karahee ho (trailed his finger up her arm) yeh naazuk kalaiya haath uthaane ke liye nahi hai balke apne saiya kee churriya pehenne ke liye hai

Shaina: yeh baat hai (pretended to talk sweetly) to pehle batate na (he was surprised to hear her talk like that and thought it was easy getting her) per yaha pe to itne saare log hai. Kahi or chalte hai na

He most willingly obliged and took her from there thinking she was leading him on. Midway she stopped him

Shaina: yeh jage sahi hai (held his collar and pulled him closer) to tum kya kehrahe the?

Varun: (loved being so near her) yehi ke tumhaare haatho me meri churriya hee acchi lagegee

Shaina: (kept leading him on) to phir dair kis baat ki hai. Pehna do na

Varun: wo to tab karunga na jab tum apna haath do gi

Shaina: pehle jese pakra tha wese hee pakarlo

He kept looking at her and couldn't see anything else. Automatically his hand went behind to grab her hand but as soon as he did he yelped out with pain.

Varun: (holding his throbbing hand) AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

She laughed seeing his sight. On purpose she had brought him here as she knew how to get rid of him. Instead of her hand he had grabbed an iron rod which had been put there heated for some reason. It was the perfect lesson to teach him.

Shaina: ab samajh me aaehga ke Shaina se panga lene ka kya matlab hai. (threw her hair back) Shaina ko paana itna aasaan nahi samjhe tum to don't embarrass yourself further darling. (walked off)

Varun: darling bhi boleti hai or zakhm bhi dejaati hai (kissed his burnt hand and also walked off)

Rajveer had most cleverly sent Varun to do all the jobs Naina had set him. He told him that he was the groom so how was he to go to her house. Varun just stood there with half mouth open and questioned him where was this principal at the mehndi function. Rajveer dismissed it and orderd him to go and Varun had no choice. On the otherside he was delighted to go as he would meet Shaina again.

Sangeet night at Ahluwalia's residence

All the guests were bustling in mingling in and waiting for the bride and groom. All the people in the house were taking care of the guests and just enjoying. Just then the arrival of the people from the groom's house happened and everyone came in one by one. Everyone's eyes were on the entrance waiting for the groom to enter. All wanted to know who he was and how he looked.

Then came the grand entry and all the girls stood with their hands on their hearts. They were blown off their feet as Rajveer entered in a light cream kurta, gap collar, potli buttons with embroidery all over the front. It was done in resham, zari and abla work. He looked extremely handsome and the girls all ached with a broken heart. They all wished he could have been their's. His eyes searched for his bride but she was not seen anywhere. He could see only other glittery butterflies fluttering around but where was his exclusive one?

As he passed by the stairs all of a sudden a girl came rushing down and straight into his arms. She slipped and now was scooped down. He kept staring at her with horror that where did she come from. The girl kept staring at him with wide eyes as if she hadn't seen anyone like him before. Finally she got to meet the great Rajveer Singh Shekhawat. He was certainly far better looking in person than the photo. Whatever it was she still had to put her test on trial.

Rajveer: Are you alright?

Shaina: (dreamily) Abhi tak to sab kuch theek hee tha lekin ab lagta hai ke bohat kuch bigar gaya hai

Rajveer: (confused her behavior) sorry?

Shaina: Don't be sorry (still pretended to be lost in him) aisa moka baar baar thori na milta hai

Rajveer lifted her up and then released his grip from her. He looked around to see if no one saw him with her and just composed himself.

Shaina: (pretended to drop her dupatta on purpose) aaah girgaya (bent down slowly on purpose to reveal her quite low neckline. She wanted to know if he would be interested to look but as she stood up she saw he was looking elsewhere) yeh to kahi or hee dekh raha hai per me bhi haar nahi maaungi. Naina se shart lagayee hai or phir oski zindagi ke liye mujhe dekhna hee hoga ke yeh kis kisam ka hain.

She tried to get his attention again but he wasn't interested so she began to walk.

Rajveer: Excuse me

She halted and waited as finally he noticed her. Then she hid her smile and turned around.

Rajveer: (came closer to her) mujhe aapse kuch kehna hai

Shaina: (pretended to not be interested this time) Jaldi kaheeye mere paas time nahi hai

Rajveer: darasal wo…me…aap…(he hesitated as he couldn't understand how to tell her) I mean…

Shaina: (gave him the sultry look) ab keh bhi dijye

Rajveer: sach me kehdu, bura to nahi manogi

Shaina: (lost in him) aap jo bhi kahenge ose bura kese maan sakti hu

Rajveer: theek hai (felt uncomfortable with her closeness) actually aapne yeh jo pehna hai na

Shaina: ha…

Rajveer: wo bohat…

Shaina: ha bohat (she kept moving closer to him)

Rajveer: bohat…

Shaina: bohat bolo na

Rajveer: darasal bohat hee ghalat hai

That brought her out of her trance as she looked down towards her attire and noticed her lengha was done the other way around. Then she was displeased with Rajveer's snigger and stared with half mouth open.

Rajveer: (pointed somewhere) you see bathroom os taraf hai to jaake theek karlena ok.

He walked off after telling her that and she cursed him so many times in her mind. He was so rude.

Varun: are jo available nahi hai oske peeche jaane ka kya fiada, bechaare ham log jo kabse intezaar kare bethe hai onpe bhi kabhi giraa karo

Shaina: (turned around with a whiplash and saw Varun standing there with that silly grin of his) I'm sorry per fuzool ki cheese pe Shaina apna waqt nahi barbaad karti

Varun: (came closer to her and held her hand) per meri aadat hai ke me her fuzool ki cheese ko bhi kaam ka bana deta hu

Shaina: (struggled to release her hand) to phir jaake kijye na mera waqt kyu barbaad karahe hai

Varun: ab kya kare ek baar Varun kisee ka haath pakar leta hai to phir ose kabhi nahi choreta

Shaina: to phir Shaina bhi acchi tarhase jaanti hai tum jeso ko line pe laana

She stuck her heel onto his toe and he yelped with pain as he released the grip on her. Then she marched off making a face at him for being a looser. He just admired her more and kissed his hand which had held her's. She sure was hell bent on hating him but he knew by the end of the night she would be bowled over him. He would make sure of that.
