Just watched last week's episode aired in USA

First of all - Ruprekha's too naive or too trusting - she did not even think that if arijit was saved by faculty, the situation would have changed, and there was no way she would have got janta votes awould have been out instead of arijit.

I am not blaming her, but blaming the writers of the show, they probably forgot the lines they gave to arpita before arijit was voted out and then the faculty ila fight was funny - i was cracking up... man this is the kapur touch i was talking about. the faculty was shown arguing with ila about talent and favorism, they did not favor talent when shamit and sandip were in danger. they wanted to save sandip instead.

Again it is not Prashant and Padma's fault, it is the case of wrong dialogs given to them. Looks like I can afford to miss the oncoming episodes of the show....

Everyone wants to leave at some or the other stage in FG, Arijit wanted to leave, Rups wanted to leave, shamit wanted to leave.. but at tht times, it shown them talking either talking to counselor, or their frnds.
Can't understand, whts going in gurukul.

By the way this one is not comparing with SRGMP, but today the judges were talking about attitude and behaviour of the contestants - they were told to look upon their own performance and not be too proud of it and make sure that your body language does not show that you feel like "main hai main hu, baaki sab kuchh bhi nahin" i didn't get the exact words from daler mahendi..

even their mentors (their teachers) were telling them the same and they were much accomplished and renowned people than prashant or padma - himesh reshamiya and ismail darbaar told their students to be humble and not show attitude.

First of all, in that contest they should not bother about that as it is about singing contest only, but just imagine if they talk about that in that, then whatever happened to the complete package show - here they imbibe quite opposite training.

what kind of gurukul is this??? they claim that one student is the best of the lot and others are nothing in comparison to him etc etc. they ask the students to vote who goes out or who they do not like. they make them rag the new comers. one hand they want to encourage someone the other hand they want to yell at the students for the same.

what impression does this leave of gurukul as an institution - they are teaching students to hate each other, to become egoistic, to plot against one another.

but all this is ok as this is not a gurukul, this is just a show - so whoseoever is serious about that show, i feel sorry for you, but the drama is overshadowing the reality (if any) in this show. no wonder i see sentimental posts all over the forum, but guys try to take it easy, as after this indian idol will come (atleast in india) and you will find new favorites and new reasons to sms to sony.. the life will go on.

Hi Sakshi, It is a Scripted Drama show with real people! But must say all of them are great actors. Excellent acting by one & all.......from flower shirt, kahi pe nigahe kahe pe nishana.....Prasant Sir, to Ila devi & contestants...wah...wah ...all are superb! I think all the contestants life has spun completely out of control except Qazi.....Kyoki Janta hai usse razi…….for rest of the lot……. as if their life has entered some cosmos b/w the sublime and the absurd!!

After voting out the one Sony has asked them to vote out they can sing to Sony...............

That's what it looks like. If you put all of them together, it doesn't make any sense. Just like any other EEketa Kupoor's show.
