Okay. Let us think Dury planned it. But if it was planned, what was the difficulty in writing it down in the book when it has more wicked things done by Dury?

Im wondering, Dury knew how major an influence Krishna was on the P's. Could he have arranged the DS with the P's assuming the fact that Krishna won't tag along, or Krishna would not put a stop to it?

He was witness to Shishupal's murder and he himself tells Dhrit that no one stood against Krishna. Would he be so confident about the DS had he not known Krishna would be busy elsewhere.

I read Sabha Parva. And there is nothing which says Shalwa or Dury had some problem when Shishu got killed, in chapters related to Shishu's death. Krishna also returned Dwaraka soon after Rajasuya was over, which is clearly stated. But DDS stayed back in IP. It is then, after two chapters of Shishu's death, Dury began feeling jealous of Ps' wealth. He had no such thoughts till then. Shalwa would have already attacked Dwaraka by that time. So I don't see any chances of Dury planning it.

That's the thing. How could Shalwa attack Dwarka and be sure that the Ps would not ride to the rescue. Yudhi was his overlord on top of it.

Same for Dury. How could he have known G wouldn't be there?

If Krishna returned to Dwaraka immediately, how was Shalwa able to destroy it then?

Had Dury been that intelligent, he would have chosen Yudhi for his last fight & won KK war!

Shishu section is huge. Shalwa anger is not in the same chapter. Will post it once I get home.

Shalwa attacked Dwaraka while Rajasuya was going on, not after it complete, is what Krishna said. And AFAIK, there will be 7 somayaga in a Raja suya & that alone needs 49 days to complete. So total Rajasuya must have been around some 80-100 days. Was that not enough for Shalwa to attack Dwaraka?
