I agree with you
About Parshuram not being casteist he defined wasn't, his reason for denying Kshatriyas was that they were arrogant and giving them power makes them atyachari, even then, he accepts Rama as his superior and takes bhishma as his student,

Then why should Karna lie to him, unless he faced deprivation on account of his from drona

But if the whole curse story is an interpolation then "...

No KK was not about Chinese invasion, I have to admit😆.
Am saying the first empire building may have had two aims - 1) scatter the power of the weapons makers but keep them alive to serve the kings 2) unify the land and keep it capable of repelling any would be invaders.

As far as I read KMG Karna looses memory bt he fires that astra!

So He forgets the astra after using it! how is that possible?? I dont know if I am able to explain it here😕 Dont worry Jamy would do it that too with citations more clearly if u dont get me😆

Edit:yayy I got the citations

here he looses memory:

At that time, when the hour of Karna's death had come, Kala, approaching invisibly, and alluding to the Brahmana's curse, and desirous of informing Karna that his death was near, told him, "The Earth is devouring thy wheel!" Indeed, O foremost of men, when the hour of Karna's death came, the high brahmastra that the illustrious Bhargava had imparted unto him, escaped from his memory. And the earth also began to devour the left wheel of his car. Then in consequence of the curse of that foremost of Brahmanas, Karna's car began to reel, having sunk deep into the earth and having been transfixed at that spot like a sacred tree with its load of flowers standing upon an elevated platform. When his car began to reel from the curse of the Brahmana, and when the high weapon he had obtained from Rama no longer shone in him through inward light, and when his terrible snake-mouthed shaft also had been cut off by Partha, Karna became filled with melancholy.

...

Here its alright😉

Beholding it, Karna, invoking the brahmastra, showered his shafts upon Dhananjaya, and once more made an effort to extricate his car. Partha also, by the aid of the brahmastra, poured arrowy downpours upon Karna. Baffling with his own weapon the weapon of his foe, the son of Pandu continued to strike him.
Beholding that shaft aimed by the Suta's son, O sire, the Pandavas, with cheerless hearts, gave themselves up to great sorrow. That shaft of keen point and endued with the effulgence of Sakra's thunder, sped from Karna's arms, fell upon Dhananjaya's chest and penetrated it like a mighty snake penetrating an ant-hill. That grinder of foes, viz., the high-souled Vibhatsu, thus deeply pierced in that encounter, began to reel. His grasp became loosened, at which his bow Gandiva dropped from his hand. He trembled like the prince of mountains in an earthquake. Availing himself of that opportunity, the mighty car-warrior Vrisha, desirous of extricating his car-wheel that had been swallowed up by the earth, jumped down from his vehicle. Seizing the wheel with his two arms he endeavoured to drag it up, but though possessed of great strength, he failed in his efforts, as destiny would have it. Meanwhile the diadem-decked and high-souled Arjuna, recovering his senses, took up a shaft, fatal as the rod of Death, and called anjalika. Then Vasudeva, addressing Partha, said, "Cut off with thy arrow the head of this enemy of thine, viz., Vrisha, before he succeeds in getting upon his car.

Jamy Disect it logically😛

The below citation is from uluka dutagamana parva from. Udyoga parva, where bhishma is telling duryodhan who atirathi and who is maharathi and rathi he mentions about Karan's curse here
.

As regards this thy ever dear friend, this one who is always boastful of his skill in battle, this one who always urgeth thee, O king, to fight with the Pandavas, this vile braggart, Karna, the son of Surya, this one who is thy counsellor, guide, and friend, this vain wight who is destitute of sense, this Karna, is neither a Ratha nor an Atiratha. Without sense, this one hath been deprived of his natural coat of mail. Always kind, he hath also been deprived of his celestial ear-rings. In consequence of the curse of Rama (his preceptor in arms) as also of the words of a Brahmana (who cursed him on another occasion), owing also to his deprivation of the accoutrements of battle, he, in my judgment, is only half a Ratha. Having approached Falguni (in battle), he will not certainly escape with life!' Hearing this, Drona, that foremost of all wielders of weapons, said, 'It is even so as thou hast said. That is not untrue! He boasteth on the eve of every battle, but yet he is seen to retreat from every engagement. Kind (out of season) and blundering, it is for this that Karna, in my judgment, is only half a Ratha

Karna's curses are narrated in detail in Shalya-Karna conversation in Karna parva & Narada- Pandava conversation in Shanti Parva. Still, despite being cursed by Parashurama, Karna remembered Brahmastra three times correctly & used against Arjuna in battle but failed to remember once - Karna remembered it & used twice, then he forgot, then he again remembered it and used. So Parashurama's curse did not work at all. Had it worked, Karna would never have remembered it at all while fighting with Arjuna.

Anu, which weapon maker was alive after MB war? All famous Angirases died long before & the rest died in that war. Who were left to make weapons? Also no Land was unified except IP & HP reunited again, is what I know. Had they been united, which were the ones conquered in Ashwamedha?

No no. After the FIRST imperial campaign, there were still some around. IIRC, Jaydrath got his Nagaastra and Arjun and Karna both got several astras during the 13 year period
After KK, all were dead
