Digangana Suryavanshi, who is currently seen in the show 'Ek Veer Ki Ardaas...Veera', may be mouthing Hindi dialogues efficiently on the show, but in real life, you might be left wondering if she is the same girl who features in the show. The actress talks English with a heavy American accent that you might feel she is not the real Digangana when you speak to her.
We asked her if she is a victim of the Foreign Accent Syndrome, which has affected many people in India since years now, she said, with her accent intact, "No, since childhood, I used to watch a lot of English TV shows and also loved the way Americans talk. I really don't know how I got the accent but I have been like this since a very long time. , and in fact, I had to show my birth certificate to a few friends when they refused to believe that I am from India and an actress. It is a funny thing but I can speak English, Hindi and Marathi very fluently. I can't help it if I have an American accent!"
