Here's a little something I thought of.. It's meant to be just one part but I can extend it if u want me to.. Bechara Baldev 😭

~VeeBa OS~ Ab Aur Bardasht Nahi Hota
Part 1
Baldev stares at Veera in disbelief as she says that the whole pind knows the intensity of his anger and that if in court she's asked about his innocence she would have no words in his defence.
Her words are like sharp daggers at his heart. The disbelief turns into anger but he doesn't have enough energy to shout.. Every move he makes hurts him because of the merciless way the goons beat him in jail.
All he can say is "Tu bhi yahi sochti hai?"
Her silence and his own words fuel his anger and from somewhere he gets enough power to raise his voice..
"kya tujhe bhi yehi lagta hai Veera ke mene Nihal Chachu ka khoon kia hai?"
"Baldev!" He is taken aback by her sudden shout and when she talks again, she talks with clenched teeth and flaring nostrils.. Just like her Veerji had done a little while back. "Khabardar jo tune Nihal Chachu ko Chachu kaha! Wo tere nahi mere Chachu hain! Tujhe koi haq nahi unhe chachu bulane ka!"
Again his heart consticts in pain at the blame she puts on him. His ribs seem to be hurting more and more as if whatever she's saying is like a hit there too. She walks over to the bed on which he had lovingly put flowers and she swats them all away to the floor with her hand.
Baldev walks over to her as fast as his limping leg can allow him and says "Veera ae tu ki kar rahi hai!?" He has to gasp for air every two words to keep his voice steady.
"Ye mujhe buhot pehle kar dena chahiye tha Baldev! Tujhse pyaar karna Meri zindagi ki sabse bari galti thi!"
She's about to storm out of the room but Baldev holds her wrist to stop her..
When he speaks, his voice is as dry as sand paper "to phir tune mujhse vyah kyun kia?"
"Take me tere saath wo kar saku jo me karne ja rai hoon"
Baldev feared to know the answer yet he asked "kya?"
"Me tujhe hamesha ke liye chad ke ja rai hoon Baldev. Isse bura tere saath aur kuch nahi ho sakta. kyun ke aj nahi to kal VeerJi mujhse milne nahi to mujhe dekhne zaroor ayenge aur jab me unhe yaha nahi nazar aaongi to wo sabse pehle tujhse sawaal karenge. Aur kyunke mene tujhse unki marzi ke begair shaadi ki hai, agar tu unhe ye sab jo abhi ho ra hai wo bataye ga to bhi wo tujhpe yaqeen nahi karenge.. Aur phir wo tera wo haal karenge jo tu soch bhi nahi sakta... Ab mera haath chod aur jaane de mujhe"
Baldev leaves Veera's hand as quick as one would take their hands off of a burning stove. He's startled by the sudden revelation. Baldev watches Veera walk out of his room as a tear drop escapes his right eye.
He feels as if he's being suffocated. Suffocated by the feeling of being betrayed by someone who he loved more than his life...
He sees the fruits his mother had brought to his room before he left and sees the knife that is beside the fruits. He walks over to the knife with dazed eyes.
Baldev picks up the knife with his right hand and puts it against the inside of his left wrist. He's about to cut himself but he stops as he hears "Oye ruk!"
Baldev looks to the source of the voice but doesn't leave the knife. She runs over to him and holds his hand to stop him from cutting himself and says "ae tu ki kar ra hai!? Chod ise! Chod!" She tries to take the knife out of his hand but he doesn't leave it.
"Karne do mujhe! Mat roko!" He's tries his best to keep the knife in his grip but at last she hits it out of his hands. He breaks down as tears roll out of his eyes and he falls to the ground on his knees.
Bansuri puts the knife on the table and kneels down beside him and says "Na puttar na.." She hugs him and he hugs her back and puts his head on her shoulder like a little boy.
He speaks in between sobs "Beeji.. Mujhe kis jurm ki saza mil rai hai? Maine esa kya kia ke jis ki waja se mujhe ae sab sehna par ra hai.. Maine to use apna sab maana.. Apni jaan se bhi zyada pyar kia.. Uski khatir me aap nu chadne ke liye tayyaar ho gaya.. Phir bhi wo mujhe chad ke chali gayi.. Kyun Beeji kyun? Maine esa kya kia?.. Rab ne menu zinda hi kyun ki jab menu jeete ji sau sau bar marna tha"
Bansuri hugged her son and let him pour out his heart. She had seen Veera leave the house and knew something had happened. She came to her son to increase any misunderstanding that would lead him to leave her later on but his is not what she ha expected. She came to light a branch in the forest but here the whole forest is severely burnt...
"Ab aur saha nai jata beeji.. Ab aur bardasht nahi hota"
He kept on repeating these lines and cursing his existence but Bansuri didn't stop him once and let him empty out all his pain. Soon he fell asleep on her shoulder.. She vowed to never let him go through this much pain again..
