Bansuri shakes Baldev to wake him up. He opens his eyes slowly and feels his head hurting. He tries to sit up but Bansuri stops him from doing so and says "Na Baldev! Lete re puttar.. Tenu bara tez bukhar chada hai. Main teri pattiyan karti hoon.." She straightens up and says "Me pani aur kapra leke aati hoon"
Once she leaves, slowly all the memories from yesterday start flowing into his brain and he feels anger. Not anger at the thought that Veera left him.. she had done that before too.. many times. He had gotten used to that now. What he felt anger on was.. himself! How could he act so vulnerable? What had gotten into him? Him! Pind da sher! Crying like a little baby!?
*Bas!* He thought. *Ab me us Veera ke peche nahi ghoomunga! Kya kaha tha unse pehle..? Me uske layak nai hoon? Ab wo dekhegi.. Me uske kya wo mere layak nahi hai! Iss baar me tujhe maaf nahi karunga Veera.. Kabhi nahi..!*
"Ye le puttar.." Bansuri comes and puts the wet cloth on his forehead. Instantly Baldev is reminded of the time when he put wet cloth on Veera's forehead in Poland. He smiles with nostalgia but then his anger overpowers him. *phir uske baare me sochne lag gaya hoon me!? Ki ho gaya hai menu!?"
"Bas ho gaya na beeji.. Me theek hoon.." He says with his (cute :p) irritated look. "Menu kaam pe jana hai ab"
"Oye nai! Tu araam kar samjha. Lete re..!"
Balwant comes to the door. He sees the room is messy and Veera is no where to be seen but he doesn't know what happened last night.
"O Baldev.. Veera kitthe hai?"
Baldev and Bansuri look at each other and then back at Balwant and Baldev says "Chali gayi"
Balwant is confused. "Chali gayi?"
And then Bansuri jumps up "o haan Balwant ji haan! Chali gayi aapki laadli bahu aapnu chadke! Ise keh ke gayi hai 'tu ghusse me kisi ka bhi khoon kar sakta hai'!"
Balwant gets angry "Kesi gallan kar rai ho aap Bansuri ji!? Veera aisa nahi kar sakti!"
Baldev gets angry. "To aap hi batao PapaJi..! Ek nai naweli dulhan apne sasural nu chad ke inne sawere sawere kitthe jayegi!? Jab ke uske maike waalo ne bhi use thukra dia ho!?"
Balwant is still unconvinced. Baldev continues with clenched teeth "sawere sawere kya, wo to raat ko hi chad ke chali gayi thi.."

Veera and Amrit are having breakfast.
"Acha Veera ab to bata to yaha kyun ayi?? Lagta hai kisi shaadi se aa rai hai"
"Wo na.. Me.. Apni.. shaadi se.. Aa rai hoon" she says quietly fearing that Amrit is gonna get angry since she never invited her.
"Kya? Congrats! Kab? Kisse? Wait a second! Tune mujhe kyun nahi bulaya! Par mere jeeja ji hai kahan? But still tune mujhe kyun nahi bulaya!?" Amrit heaves a loud sigh since she says all that in one breath. She's VERY happy for Veera but then she gets all serious and says "Par Veera tu yaha kyun ayi agar teri kal shaadi hui hai..?"
Veera gets serious and tells Amrit what happened... or at least what she thinks had happened.
"...aur phir me jab use jail ne milne gayi to usne kaha 'mene Nihal chachu ka qatl nahi kia.. Mujhe unki call ayi thi is liye me gaya' par veerji ne mujhe kaha jo tha ke unho ne Baldev ko khoon karte hue dekha.. Ab veerji galat thodi na ho sakte hai.. To phir mene intezaar kia, Baldev ko zamanat milne ka.. Aur me usse milne gayi, use ye vishwaas dilane ke me us par bharosa karti hoon.. Phir humne mandir me shaadi ki aur uske ghar chali gaye.. Wo to mujhse aise baat kar raha tha jaise usne kuch galat kia hi nahi!.. Aur phir maine usse kaha ke maine usse shaadi is liye ki thi take me usse hamesha hamesha ke liye chod ke chali jaon"
Amrit who hadn't interrupted the whole time was now staring at Veera, her mouth hanging open.
