QH was a train-wreck..It was a really good show for the first few months..And then the vamp started hogging the screen and the leads kept trying to get married three freaking times but failed..Then the female lead got married to the lead's brother & when they finally decided to get married for real, the male lead got replaced..Can you imagine how horrible we all felt? 😆 Gul messes with your head like no other 😆 You can atleast watch Veera, enjoy, gush, crib or rant & get over it..Its better in a way 😆 So yeah, fingers crossed, no one ever gets replaced on this show 😆

You have put everything perfectly. I have never really felt that Baldev is in love with Veera. This is one of the reasons I have not been able to connect to most of the scenes. Ofcourse slapstick comedy also takes the essence out of every scene. You genuinely laugh when you see something hilarious. The writers have made Baldev so inconsistent that tomorrow if he leaves Veera for another girl, I would be convinced. 😆
For me the essence of Baldev's character was different. He wasn't a guy who would start dancing like a 2 year old at the drop of a hat🥱 Mind you those scenes looked OTT and somehow Vishal's acting in those scenes looked OTT to me.😛 He did a pretty good job when the character needed to be intense during the confessions.
It looks like a love story of two kids 😳 Many people are enjoying Baldev being portrayed as a comical "Ranvi" and Veeba's comical 'love' story. So I guess the writers have succeeded in pleasing the majority.
Oh b/w it seems to me that Veera is also just crushing on Baldev😆 And yeah, I still rewatch some old Veeba scenes. Baldev was different and I thought I signed up for that when I followed the show regularly post leap including his costumes😆 I so want him to wear those Kurtas and coats/jackets. He has become so boring

Like you even I shipped many couples because the way the love story was presented looked attractive. (Veeba lack this according to me) But not on a character level. Same goes for Baldev as well. I don't like him as a person, just like other AYM heroes. Vishal is the only reason, Baldev looked cute. Many other heroes made their characters memorable as well. Vishal is certainly more talented than most of them.
So it always beats me why people say that they can't tolerate watching AYM heroes just because they are hot, but find Baldev adorable and cute. Most heroes have an irritating side and Baldev is no exception for me. So I do feel it all comes down to good looks and being an eye candy and ofcourse good performances.😆

Oh yeah, baldev almost beating up Ranvi for meeting his sister in the night and doing exactly the same was hypocritical. No character in this show is spared when it comes to being butchered by the CVs😆

Him sneaking into her room with the ring and basically blackmailing her into saying yes, crossed all lines for me.🥱I wouldn't have blamed Veera if she had slapped him for that. But once again I did manage to enjoy the scenes because of Vishal.😆 This thing made no sense, both heroes have sisters that they are overprotective about and still they are ok with sneaking into a girl's room at night. I didn't actually see Ranvi sneaking into Gunjan's room, but I think I saw a pic of R gazing at a sleeping G (so feel free to correct me).

I have never managed to like an abusive/bully hero as a person, (though I mananged to ship them with the heroine and enjoy the character purely because of acting and chemistry), so for me there is a huge difference between those abusive leads and an annoying Baldev.

Urgh am late 😆 You know i agree with everything you just said right? 😆 We have discussed this so much that anything i add to this post is gonna sound redundant 😆 I still feel they could have used that phase where Baldev was heart-broken to create wonders..That typical 'i hate you like i love you' kind with a twist..I love watching scenes where the hero is trying so hard to hate the girl but there are those moments where he cant help but care for her..Remember the 'sapnon ki duniya' scene where Arnav is downright brutal to Kushi but melts the moment he sees her in tears? Or all those scenes where Asad was downright annoyed with Zoya yet couldn't help but smile at her antics? 😆 I know this is not a Gul Khan show but they really could have tried to show that angst & conflict between the mind & heart..They had the perfect platform after Baldev was heartbroken..But alas, these writers were more interested in showing 'Ratan Swarozghar Yojana' & Veera evolving crappy schemes to empower women 😆 It just takes one well written scene, one monologue or one instance where he introspects his feelings..Now i guess its too late to ask for all that 😆 The only demands i have from this show at this point are

1) Vishal should stop trimming his goddamn hair and go back to the way he looked in the Sarpanch track 😆
2) Eff those shirts & please start wearing kurtas 😆
3) Stop playing that utterly ridiculous bgm in random romantic scenes 😆
4) Focus on Vishal's eyes 😆
5)Show a palatable love story without cliched or cheesy romance 😆
6) No replacements..I just cant take replacements 😆

Bas..Its reached a stage where this is all i expect from this show 😆
