why Veera and Baldev dint recognize Nihaal

Though the viewers know that it the same person and hence he carried Veera when she fainted, that soft side of his is still hidden from Veeba. Though they have had a doubt in their minds and hence they kept quite, the could not identify the connections between the two individuals. Only when they will see the PP picture in his album as per the segments will they be able to join the dots and deduce that Neil and Nihal are the same person.
