both veera and baldev dint recognize nihaal

atleast baldev shld have recognized him as preleap he was not as small as veera that he forgot how nihaal was

IMO Veeba did not recognise Nihal because of mainly two reasons. First they had seen him last when they were very young. Veera was very small and though she was attached to him she did not remember his face exactly. This happens when you see someone when you are small and then later meet them after a long gap, it takes time for you to recognize them. Baldev had never been quite fond of him and so he had probably forgotten him.

Secondly, look at the situation under which they meet Nihal. They are far from PP, and the person in front of them calls himself Neil, is Polish farmer and except his facial features nothing matches him with the old Nihal. He is strict, sometimes a bit too strict unlike the old Nihal who loved and cared for Veera so much. Though the viewers know that it the same person and hence he carried Veera when she fainted, that soft side of his is still hidden from Veeba. Though they have had a doubt in their minds and hence they kept quite, the could not identify the connections between the two individuals. Only when they will see the PP picture in his album as per the segments will they be able to join the dots and deduce that Neil and Nihal are the same person.

i dont recognize my relatives in one look or one convo..😳whom i met in ma childhood😆..isi liye i dont wonder..if they dnt recognize him at first encounter..but i thnk baldev has noticed sumthng/trying t recognize him..shayad😆..aur veera bhi kal epi mein baldev jaisa chup hoke kuch soch raha tha..i thought ..it lyk.that🤔..n the way veera lukd at him while he went away..evn she was thinking abt him i thnk..my silly expectations🤣

agree with u princy s and may be baldev was trying to recognize him his expressions seemed to be like that only

it reminded me of young baldev vahi gussa bhi tha vishal ki chehre pe while looking at nihaal which young baldev used to have

i want now also there relationship to be like preleap only

Actually it was quite illogical that VeeBa couldn't recognise Nihal. Veera was very young, I agree on that but if she recognised her nana and nani whom she was less attached to, she should have definitely identified Nihal with whom she shared a very closer bond in her childhood, whom she was also very fond of. If I remember right, she also wanted NiRa wedding to happen coz she found a father figure in Nihal as someone said in a post before! It was unbelievable that she couldn't know who he was even when she had a closer look at him in their close by confrontation after she fainted!

And when we look at Baldev, he wasn't fond of Nihal that's true. But he couldn't be that bad in memory consisting that he wasn't as young as Veera was. Baldev must have been 11 or 12 when Nihal used to stay with them. So a kid at that age must be surely aware of past memories, especially Nihal who used to be a tutor to him, Gunjan and Ranveera too. They used to be many occasions when Bansuri scolded Baldev for mistreating Nihal since she had a nasty crush on him!
One thing is clear here, Cvs aren't gonna give any attention to logics anymore! Only things that matter to them are twist and turns to hike their trp!! 😆
