hello readers😳 as per the request of some friends few days back, I'm here with a story on the track of 'how to lose a guy in 10 days'😉 please read..
She closed the Skype window and had a sigh of relief. Phew! Finally a plan at sight which would work; at the same time she felt pity at poor Amrit, all her relationships ended same way. But now she had to begin her mission and she started to jot down her strategy. 6 days, only 6 days..or roughly 144 hours and he would be hating the sight of her. She'll annoy the crap out of him and he'd never think of a looking at a girl again. She felt pleased with her own plan and let out a tiny hoot of victory. If only she had eyes behind her back and noticed the figure that was well hidden behind the pillar and had been watching everything..
The foundation had to be laid down now. Veera picked up her phone and dialed a number which she had never used ever before. He answered in two rings.
"Veera, tune mennu phone kiya! Ki hoya?(you called me? whats wrong?)" he sounded worried.
She collected all the fake shyness she could muster and said in her most sexy voice, "woh-woh main na tennu vadda miss kar rahi thi..main tujhse milna chahti hoon..tujhe dekhe bina kinna waqat hoya.. aaj subah mila tha tu, ab raat ho gayi(i was missing you so much..i want to meet you..we haven't met since so long..it was morning when i saw you and its night now)" she pouted at the receiver for extra effects and hoped her plan would work.
It worked and he fell instantly. "tu mujhse milna chahti hai? Mujhse? Bata kahan milna hai..main abhi aata hoon(you want to meet me?? where can we meet? i will come now)" he shouted loudly in her ears.
"arre abhi nahi Baldeva..kal.. main tennu phone karke bataoongi kahan milna hai..theek hai..toh ab phone rakh(hey no, not today, we shall meet tomorrow..i'll call you..keep the phone down now)" she said.
"tu rakhna pehle(you first)" it sounded like he was blushing, God, this guy!
"achcha hum dono saath me rakhte hain..ek-do-teen..(we'll cut the call together, one..two..three)" Veera disconnected before another word and rolled her eyes at her own modus operandi.
All night, she dreamt of a guy who was running away from a raging bull. Before she could watch the end of the game to see if the bull actually gored him, it was morning.
Day one
She sighed. Day one was in the offing. She ticked off strategy number one in her mind.
Her phone rang the next moment and of course she knew it was him. What a despo! Never mind..this would be the sixth last day he would manage to tick her off.
"Veera..tu bhool gayi? Aaj hum milne wale the..toh main aajaoon tere ghar?(did you forget? we were supposed to meet up today, shall i come to pick you up?)" he said earnestly and Veera felt a tiny flicker of guilt but Amrit's withered face came to her mind and she replied with slyness, " woh aaj na hum shopping chalte hain..mennu naye kapde lene hain..tu mujhe ghar se pick up karle theek hai..aur haan apni motor cycle lete aana..tu na helmet me vadda cute lagta hai(shall we go shopping today? i have to buy new clothes..you please bring your bike because, you look very cute in a helmet)" she giggled.
"aur tu salwar pehenle..tu bhi vaddi kweet lagti hai usme(and you wear Salwar..you too look cute in that)" Baldev replied. She guffawed at his words, kweet' indeed!
It took them two hours to reach the market despite its distance being only twenty minutes away. Veera had done all that she could, to annoy him on their way. She made him stop the bike for so many flimsy reasons, that any guy would have run away by now. First it was her dupatta which flew away, and then she needed to tie up her hair. Then she had to sit side saddle and so on. But she had to give it to this guy; he didn't look teeniest bit irritated no matter what she did.
They were in the market now and time to unravel the second half of day one. "woh dekh, kapdon ki dukaan..chal(see there, a cloth shop)" she took his hand.
"tu jaa..main yahin rukta hoon.." he said.
"mennu teri pasand ke kapde lene hain, apne waaste(i have to buy clothes according to your choice)" she felt her lie could be exposed at any moment.
"toh chal" he agreed to accompany her to the shop.
It was three hours later when she could finally manage to stop. They had roamed fifteen shops and had not bought a thing. "bohot ho gayi shopping, ghar chalte hain" Veera said in a tired tone.
"par tune toh kuch liya hi nahi..aur mennu khamakha ghumaya apne saath(you bought nothing..just made me follow you around)" he accused her.
"tennu mere saath ghoomna achcha nahi lagta?" she asked.
"tu yeh bata, tu kya dhoond rahi thi, jo tujhe aakhir mila hi nahi(what were you searching, which you never found)?"
Uh,oh..she rattled off the first thing that came to her tongue. "main woh pink color ka dress dhoond rahi thi, jispar neele rang ke phool ho..aur dupatta resham se bana ho(i was searching for a pink dress with blue flowers on it and with a silk dupatta)"
"chal koi nahi..ab ghar chalein?" he replied.
Day one had gone well and she patted herself on the back, mentally.
Day two
Strategy two/day two of how to lose Baldev, any guy's biggest fear; doing house work or more clearly a woman's work.
"Baldeva..tu meri madat karega? Aaj na main ek special dish bana rahi hoon..mennu uske liye ek special sabzi di zaroorat hai..tu laadega?(im making a special dish today..and i need a special vegetable for that..will you please fetch it for me from the market?)" she asked sweetly when he came to meet her.
"kya chahiye tujhe? Gobhi, tamatar ya bhindi?(what do you need?)" he said.
"woh sab nahi..mujhe broccoli chaahiye..soup banana hai, yeh healthy bhi hota hai(i need broccoli for the soup..its very healthy you know)" was Veera's reply.
"apne pind me toh nahi milta hoga yeh..main sheher jaake le aanda..tu fikar na kar(i think that vegetable is not available locally..i need to go to city for that)" he touched her cheek.
He must have gone very far in search of that vegetable, thought Veera when there was no sign of him until late evening. And when he finally came, he had two packets in his hand.
"yeh le teri sabzi..aur yeh tera surprije!(here's your vegetable and here's your surprise)" he closed her eyes with one hand tearing the cover of other packet with another. He opened the package fully to reveal a blue salwar with tiny pink flowers printed all over it. It had a silk dupatta to match. Veera felt herself wavering towards his impromptu gesture for a second.
"veera, mennu pata hai jo tune maanga maine uska bikul ulta laaya par tu ek baar ise pehen kar dekhle..sohni lagegi( i know i nrought the exact opposite of what you asked but try it once..it'll look great on you)" his smile was dazzling. But she had a plan to execute..yeah right.
Next step, cut your finger so that he offers to cut the vegetables. But insist on doing everything yourself so that he doesn't get a whiff of your plan.
Just after cutting two stems of the broccoli, Veera's fingers began to bleed (tomato sauce comes in handy at times, don't you agree?) and like a good natured boy friend, Baldev began cutting the veggie.
Everything would have gone well if Baldev's thumb hadn't taken fancy to the shining knife. Crimson blood began to ooze out of his real wound and Veera's guilt grew to a giant size. This wasn't a part of her plan. Oh gosh! Mother of all disasters..there was no antiseptic or bandage in the house..
"tere haath se khoon nikal raha hai!! tu ruk, main kuch karti hoon..doctor ka number hai mere paas" she was more restless than him.
"Veera..choti si chot hai..main tere liye itna nahi jhel sakta? Haldi lagade..theek ho jaayega.. phir teri ungli ko bhi toh chot lagi hai na..tu bhi lagale haldi(this is very small..nothing to fear..apply turmeric on it, it'll heal and you are also hurt..)" he assured her.
She had to abandon the rest of her plan number two as the biggest wave of guilt had washed her away.
so this was the first part of three parted series...😊
how bad was it? very bad too bad🤢 or totally yawn worthy?🥱😆
