Heya guys! As you all know, I joined this forum recently cause of VeeBa. Since I write, here's something on my new fav.
It's my imagination of how their romance in their newly formed relationship going to be :P Forgive me for any bloopers as I don't know how to write Punjabi. Tried my best to keep their essence with a tadka of their romance. Hope you guys like it :-)

Khatta Meetha Romance
Lost in thoughts, Veera was walking on the street with an unconscious smile on her face. She remembered her fights with Baldev and her cheeks turned red without her even realizing it. Just then, she was shocked when someone grabbed her wrist and pulled her in a corner. Before she could scream for help, he covered her mouth with his palm.
"Oye 2 din se milne nahi aai mainu, main ki tera chamcha hu jo tere aage peeche ghumta phirunga aur milne de vaaste minnatein karta rahunga. Aivayi gussa hoke chali gayi kabootari, bina koi vajah ki. Ab bol kyun nahi aayi... Bolna." Baldev made an annoyed expression when Veera did not respond to his question. He noticed how she was just staring at him, surprised.
"Pata hai mainu bohot pyaar karti hai tu issi liye kaise dekhti jaa rahi hai lekin ab kuch bol bhi." Baldev smirked as he saw Veera gazing at him.
Veera signaled towards his hand, making him realize that he was not letting her talk. He instantly moved away.
"Oye paagal, aisa koi karta hai ki, daraa ditta mainu bandar kahika. Khud ko toh sher kehta hai tu aur aisi bheegi billio jaisi harkatein. Kyun pind walo de samne haath pakadhne mein sharam aati hai? Tab toh nahi aai thi jab tune kaha tha ki tu mainu pyaar karta hai. Ab ki hoya? Ha?" Veera yelled and glared at him.
"Oye chup kar tu. Khud toh milne nahi aati bandariya kahiki aur ab bhi nakhre dikhaa rahi hai." Baldev looked at the other direction with an angry pout.
Veera's expression softened. "Oye hoye toh mere sher nu meri yaad aa rahi thi. Haaye main mar jaavan! Kabhi toh dhang se kuch kehta nahi bas aivayi bandar ki tarah uchalta phir ta hai aur baat karta hai. Issi vaaste toh gussa aata hai tere pe ki tu itna khadus hai. Jab main sochti hu ki tu pyaar dikhaaega tab toh aivayi chala jaata hai aur mere se jyada toh tere chamche tere liye jyaada pyaare hai."
Baldev stepped a little forward. He held her wrist and twisted it at her back carefully so that she would not get hurt. "Oye hoye toh meri sherni nu mera pyaar dekhna hai." he mischievously muttered and walked closer to her, eventually pinning her against the wall. "Main seedha zarur dikhta hu kabootari par iska matlabh yeh nahi hai ki main kuch kar nahi sakta, kuch samajh ni sakta." he smirked as he saw Veera all surprised and dumbstruck as she had never seen him this way from the day he reluctantly told her that she mattered to him a lot than an enemy and a friend. He did not even directly said to her that he loved her. How unlucky she was! She sadly sighed. "Issi ko dil dena tha mainu, rab ji aap bhi ki karte ho." she wondered but her thought was interrupted when Baldev approached nearer.
"Mera pyaar dekhna hai tennu?" Baldev questioned Veera naughtily while she shook her head. "Jaane de mainu. Veer ji dhund rahe honge." she slightly smiled since she was loving his closeness all of a sudden.
"Khud toh mazaa le rahi hai aur jaane ki gal karti hai." Baldev could literally read her face while she tried heart and soul to control her shy smile. "Oye jaane de ab. Aaungi kal milne!" she promised him and struggled to move apart.
"Itni jaldi bhi ki hai. Tennu toh lagda hai ki mainu pyaar jataana nahi aata, issi liye gussa hui thi na. Toh ab jab jataa raha hu toh ki problem hai tennu?" Baldev asked her, looking in her eyes intensely. "Aur waise bhi tera haath pakadhna toh haq hai mera." his voice was husky and playful rather than being casual.
Veera could feel her heartbeats rising. "Kuch kehna hai tennu?" she asked him, expecting him to finally tell her directly that he loved her madly.
Baldev nodded. "Main----main---" he stammered.
"Chal ab bakri naa ban aur seedhe seedha bol." Veera teased him while he made a face. "Bol jo sunna hai mainu itne time se." she lovingly added.
Baldev smiled wide. "Pyaar ho gaya mainu... Tere naal." he paused and thought what else he should say. "Pata ni aur ki kehna chahie, bas itna ki kab teri aadat ho gai, tere naal jhagda karne ki aur bas tennu dekhne ki, kuch samajh hi nai aaya. Tujhe rote huye dekhta tha toh pata ni ki ho jaata hai mainu. Samajh hi nahi aata kuch, par yeh jarur pata hai ki tu vaddi khaas hai, meri kuri hai tu, meri sherni."
Veera's eyes turned moist to see him so innocently pouring out his feelings about her. She was at a loss of words to see this side of him, so all she could do in the moment was hugging him tight. "Mainu fakr hai ki tennu pyaar kia maine. Bohot acha hai tu yaar. Sachhi!" Baldev's grin grew broader and he hugged her back... For the first time he could hug her back without any second thought or hesitation.
