Gunjan ran after Ranvi, who had left the house in anger after having heard that Gunjan had borrowed money from Baldev to help Ranvi complete his studies.

Gunjan: "Ranvi ruk ja. Thand rakh! Mainu maaf karde!"

("Ranvi, please stop. Calm down! Please forgive me!")

Ranvi turned around in anger.

Ranvi: "Kyun Gunjan? Kyun liye paise tune Baldev se? Mainu pata hai ki tu shaadi ke baad mainu hamesha taana maarti thi ki mere paas kam paise hai tenu dene. Lekin tu yeh jaanti thi, isliye mujhe chot pahunchane, tune uss Baldev se paise maange?"

("Why Gunjan? Why did you take money from Baldev? I know ever since we got married you have always insulted me for not having enough money. But you knew, that's why to hurt me, you asked Baldev for money?")

Gunjan felt really upset, and had tears rolling down her eyes now. Everything Ranvi said was true. Earlier, she used to insult him for not having enough money to support her or his family, or even for himself for that matter. But, things had changed. She had changed. And yet, Ranvi was furious at Gunjan now.

Gunjan: "Ranvi, main tenu chot nahin pahunchana chahti thi. Sach."

(Ranvi, I didn't want to hurt your feelings. Really.")

Ranvi ignored Gunjan and had was now walking on the busy street. Gunjan continued to follow him.

Ranvi: "Mainu akela chod de Gunjan!"

("Leave me alone Gunjan!")

Gunjan: "Main tenu akela nahin chodungi Ranvi. Tu ne mera saath diya. Ab main tera saath dena chahti hoon."

("I will not leave you alone Ranvi. You supported me. Now, I will stand by your side and support you.")

Gunjan noticed Ranvi's expressions change. He calmed down a bit, but then again got angry, and clenched his fists. He continued walking.

Ranvi (thinking to himself): "Baldev, tu bahut khush ho raha hoga na? Pehle Veera ko paane tu ne padhai poori shuru kar di. Aur ab mainu neecha dikhane Gunjan nu paise de diya."

("Baldev, you must be very happy. First to get Veera, you began continuing your studies. And now to insult me, you gave Gunjan money to help me.")

Ranvi was so busy deep in thought that he didn't notice the truck that was coming in full speed. Gunjan noticed.

Gunjan: "Ranvi, hat ja! Gaddi a rahin hai."

("Ranvi, move! There's a truck coming.")

Ranvi didn't hear her. Gunjan ran to push Ranvi out of the way. In the process, Gunjan wasn't fast enough to move out of the way and got hit by the truck.

Ranvi who was lying fallen on the side of the road after having been pushed and saved by Gunjan saw Gunjan lying unconscious on the road, after she had been hit by the truck.

Ranvi screamed out: "Gunjan!"

He ran to Gunjan's side.

Ranvi gently lay Gunjan's head on his lap.

Gunjan: "Ranvi, mainu maaf karde. Dekh mere paapon ke liye mainu saza mil gayi."

("Forgive me Ranvi. See, I am being punished for my sins now.")

Ranvi: "Nahin Gunjan, aisa mat bol! Tenu kuch nahin hoga. Maine tenu maaf kar diya."

("No Gunjan, don't say that! Nothing will happen to you. I have forgiven you.")

Ranvi quickly called the doctor and then dialed Baldev's number.

At Baldev's house...

Baldev picked up his phone when he saw it was Ranvi calling.

Baldev: "Ranvi, ki hoya?"

("Ranvi, what happened?")

Ranvi told Baldev everything about Gunjan's accident. Baldev was shocked and upset.

Baldev: "Kya?! Main abhi hospital aata hoon. Main Veera nu bhi sab bata doonga aur gharwalon ko bhi."

("What?! I will be at the hospital right away. I will tell everyone at home as well as Veera.")

Bansuri: "Baldev, ki hoya? Tu aise pareshaan kyun dikh raha hai?"

("Baldev, what happened? Why do you look so worried?")

Balwant: "Haan puttar, baat kya hai?"

("Yes son, whats the matter?")

Baldev: "Papaji, beeji, Gunjan aspatal mein hai. Uski ek truck se accident hui. Ranvi uske saath hai."

("Father, mother, Gunjan is in the hospital. She had an accident with a truck. Ranvi is with her at the hospital.")

Bansuri: "Hayyo rabba! Meri beti! Yeh sab zaroor uss Ranvi ki vajah se hua hai. Meri Gunjan!"

("Oh my God! My daughter! This is all Ranvi's fault. My Gunjan!")

Balwant: "Bas Bansuriji! Ismein Ranvi ki kya galti hai? Voh bhi toh bahut pareshaan hoga. Akhir Gunjan uski votti hai. Chal Baldev, apni jeep nikaal. Hum sab hospital chalte hai."

("Enough Bansuriji! How is this Ranvi's fault? He will also be very upset and worried. After all, Gunjan is his wife. Come on Baldev, get your jeep out. We will all go to the hospital.")

Baldev: "Haan papaji, bas ek minute. Main Veera nu bhi yeh sab bata deta hoon."

Baldev: "Veera...Gunjan hospital mein hai. Usse ek truck ne maar di. Ranvi hospital mein hai Gunjan de naal."

("Veera...Gunjan's in the hospital. A truck hit her. Ranvi is in the hospital with Gunjan.")

Veera was shocked and upset.

Veera: "Kya? Baldev mainu bhi tere naal hospital jaana hai. Main abhi beeji aur chaiji nu yeh baat bata deti hoon."

("What? Baldev I will go to the hospital with you as well. I will tell beeji and chaiji as well.")

Baldev: "Veera, tu mere saath chal. Lekin tere beeji aur chaiji ko Jaggi aur Billa le jayenge. Papaji aur beeji bhi hamare saath jayenge."

("Veera, you will come with me. But your mother and aunt will be taken to the hospital by Jaggi and Billa. Father and mother are already with me.")

Veera: "Theekh hai Baldev."

("Ok Baldev.")

Veera told Ratan and Chaiji everything. They were both shocked and upset to hear about Gunjan.

Baldev arrived and stopped in front of Veera's house.

Bansuri (irritated): "Tu yahan ki kar raha hai? Chal aspatal chalte hai."

("What are you doing here? Come on, lets go to the hospital.")

Baldev (in anger): "Ek minute beeji!"

("One minute mother!")

By this time Billa and Jaggi also arrived in their jeep to pick up Ratan and chaji.

Veera quickly sat in the back next to Bansuri in Baldev's jeep and they left for the hospital.

At the hospital...

Everyone arrived and went to Ranvi when they saw him.

Baldev: "Ranvi, yeh sab kaise hua?"

("Ranvi, how did this happen?")

Ranvi (guilty): "Yeh sab meri vajah se hua!"

("This all happened because of me!")

Ranvi told Baldev and the others everything. Baldev got really mad and pulled Ranvi's collar in anger.

Baldev: "Itni baat par tune meri behen nu rulaya? Aur ab teri vajah se voh aspatal mein hai."

("For such a little thing, you made my sister cry? And now she is in the hospital because of you.")

Veera tried to intervene.

Veera: "Baldev, veerji nu chad. Dekh unhe bahut bura lag raha hai."

("Baldev, leave my brother. See, he is very upset as well.")

Due to the stress Baldev was under seeing his sister in the hospital, he was going to say certain things that he would regret.

Baldev: "Waah Veera! Hamesha ki tarah tu ab bhi tere veer ka saath de rahi hai. Agar tu mujhse sach mein pyaar karti hai, toh tu mera saath degi!"

("Wow Veera! Like always, even now you are supporting your brother. If you truly loved me, you would support me!")

Veera was shocked and upset by Baldev's words.

Veera: "Baldev, yeh tu ki keh raha hai?"

("Baldev, what are you saying?")

Bansuri, having heard about Baldev's true feelings for Veera for the first time got even more angry and upset.

Bansuri: "Veera, pehle tera Veer aur meri beti Gunjan, aur ab tu mere puttar nu cheenegi!"

("Veera, first it was your brother with my daughter Gunjan, and now you want to steal my son, Baldev from me!")

Veera (upset): "Nahin chaiji, aisa nahin hai."

("No chaiji, its not like that.")

Balwant: "Bas Bansuriji, yeh sahi waqt aur jagah nahin hai. Hum thande dimaag se Veera aur Baldev ke baare baat karenge. Lekin ab humari beti nu hamari zaroorat hai."

("Enough Bansuri, this is not the time or place. Once we are all calm, we will talk about Veera and Baldev's relationship. But now Gunjan needs us.")

Veera (whispered): Baldev!"

Baldev was too angry to listen to Veera and walked away to sit in the waiting area.

It was like the two families were divided now. Baldev and his family sat on one side of the waiting area. Veera and her family sat on the other side.
