Part 1
This FF is set after Ranvi and Gunjan's forced marriage, and how Veera and Baldev feel about it.
Veera still couldn't believe that her veerji had got married to Gunjan, the girl who broke his heart and embarrassed their whole family. But, all their hands were tied. After what happened to Balwant tayaji, Ranvi and everyone else out of respect, agreed to the alliance.
Veera hadn't yet spoken to Baldev since their siblings had got married. For some reason, Veera felt like Baldev was awkward, not knowing how to face her, and interact with her after everything that had happened.
Veera was thinking about all of this while sitting along the lake shore. Baldev, who often times came to the lake shore when he wanted to spend some time alone, arrived there and noticed Veera.
Baldev (thinking to himself): "Yeh Veera, itthe ki kar rahi hai? Yeh meri sochne ki jagah hai."
Baldev walked towards where Veera was sitting, and sat down next to her. Veera, who had been deep in thought broke out of her thoughts, once she saw Baldev.
Veera: "Baldev, tu itthe ki kar raha hai?"
Baldev: "Main tujhse yahin poochne wala tha. Yeh jagah meri hai. Main yahan waqt bitane aur sochne aata hoon."
Veera got mad at Baldev. How dare he say that. This area was a public spot. Anyone could come here and spend time if they wanted.
Veera: "Oi, yeh jagah kab se teri hui? Yahan koi bhi aa sakta hai! Samjha! Main bhi yahan kabhi akele bethne aur sochne ke liye aati hoon."
Baldev realized that there was no point in arguing with Veera. He decided to change the topic and finally ask her what had been troubling his mind the whole time ever since that day.
Baldev: "Kya tu iss shaadi se khush hai?"
Veera was taken by surprise. Baldev hadn't said a word to her about Ranvi and Gunjan's wedding until now.
Veera (smiling a little): "Tenu ki lagta hai? Ab hum kar bhi kya sakte hai? Shaadi toh ho gayi na. Balwant tayaji yahin chahte the, toh ab main kya kar sakti hoon? Vaise bhi, kya tu khush hai? Hum dono veerji aur Gunjan didi ki shaadi ke khilaaf the."
Baldev: "Haan, voh toh hai. Ab hum kar bhi kya sakte hai? Tu aur main iss shaadi se khush ho na ho, ab toh humein Gunjan aur Ranvi ko saath milana hoga."
Veera: "Haan, tu sahi keh raha hai."
Baldev realized that ever since Gunjan and Ranvi's wedding, he and Veera had not been having their usual nok jhoks and arguments. He didn't like that.
Baldev: "Waise, ek baat kahun? Ab yeh shaadi ho gayi, lekin iska yeh matlab nahin ki main ab tujhse dosti karungi, aur nahin ladunga! Hum pehle jaise hi rahenge!"
Veera smiled. She had missed their fights and nokjhok.
Veera: "Haan, maine kab kahan ki hum dost ban gaye? Hum pehle jaise hi rahenge, hamare ladai jhagde band nahin honge."
Baldev smiled, satisfied with Veera's response.
At Ranvi's house...
Gunjan still couldn't believe that she had got married to Ranvi because of her father. Although he had saved her honor, she still hated him.
Gunjan (thinking to herself): "Meri shaadi Ranvi se ho toh gayi, lekin main usse pyaar nahin karti! Uske aur Veera ki vajah se mere videsh jaane ka sapna toot gaya!"
Ranvi got back from the khet and saw Gunjan in the kitchen preparing rotis. Despite everything that had happened, Ranvi couldn't hate Gunjan. But, he no longer loved her the way he used to, especially not after what she had done to him and his family.
Ranvi: "Mainu kuch kaam ke liye bahar jaana hai. Tu khaana kha lena aur beeji, chaiji, aur Veera nu bata dena."
Gunjan: "Theek hai. Main bata doongi."
Gunjan continued doing her work in the kitchen, but for some reason, she couldn't help but look over at Ranvi who was busy putting together some papers that he needed for work. Ever since their marriage, although Ranvi had got married to her, he kept to himself. As much as possible, he steered clear of Gunjan.
Gunjan (thinking to herself): "Waise bhi, mainu ki farkh padta hai? Main Ranvi se pyaar nahin karti. Bas bahu ka farz nibha rahin hoon aur papaji ka diya hua vaada nibha rahin hoon."
