CHAPTER-1.

Baldev huffed and puffed and cursed and groaned but still went on climbing the mountain,holding onto bushes and tree branches,and also careful to see that Veera was alright behind him..

If it had been upto him,he would have just carried her in his arms,but after her hug in that bike a few weeks back,he was scared to touch a hair of her body..Never mind carry her in his arms..

In fact the reality was he did not know what he was doing here in the first place..

Veera had come in the dead of the night in his bedroom,like a thief,climbing up into his balcony..Even the thought of it gave him goosebumps right now..!This girl could do anything..!And just when he woke up confused and drowsy from his sleep,she had ordered him to pack his bags and get ready,nearly giving him a heart attack by her sudden appearance..

Well at first he had thought that she was just a dream,he quickly amended..And he was lost in her eyes,until she had pinched him hard on his arms bringing him back to the harsh reality.Then pushing his clothes herself onto a bag, she had pointed something like a knife at him,forcing him to get into his car and come with her..

Baldev rolled his eyes remembering the scene..Little did she know,that he had complied without question not because she had scared him with a knife..she had scared him,when she was coming closer to him with that knife,her fragrance having an odd arousing effect on him once again..And so he had quickly complied to her persistence without argument..Letting her think that she had managed to force him at the end of the knife to give in..

While thinking all this Baldev had reached a level flat area of the mountain..An area from where they had to start climbing again to get to the top..

Heaving he stood and wiped off some sweat from his brows,when a scream made his blood freeze up in fear.

"BALDEVA!!!MAINU PAKAD!Meri haat fisaal rahi hai!

[BALDEVA!!!HOLD ME!My hand is slipping!]"Her scared voice,got his heart nearly bursting out in fear for her.

He whirled round and there,she was hanging onto a tree branch by a steep cliff.The stick to which she was holding earlier to stay in touch with him was now stuck to another branch of the same tree and already broken..

"VEERA!HAAT PAKAR MERI!JALDI!!!

[VEERA!HOLD MY HAND QUICKLY!!!]"He exclaimed out in a tense voice..

She got hold of his hand,but her hands were slipping..

His heart almost stopped when he felt he was losing her..If she fell down that cliff,he could not imagine what the consequence would be..Infact he was completely scared to think of its consequence at all.

Finally after lots of tugs and slips he had managed to pull her up..And as soon as he did,they slipped and she fell right on top of him..

With thudding heart Baldev lay back,his eyes wide open staring up at the sky,as he felt her soft fragranced body on top of his..Her open locks being blown by the wind onto his face,tickling him,and yet creating a never before felt pleasure in him..

Baldev felt he..He wanted to..He did not know what he was feeling or what he wanted at that moment..He just felt he was being swept away to a place he had never been to.

As she moved slightly,his body suddenly tightened surprising him as a jolt of need passed through him..What was happening to him?!!He could not help with a shocked surprise,and instantly tried to get up and move away from her ..

He finally managed to make both of them stand back on their feet,and put a good few steps between them and turned away from her..

He closed his eyes and inhaled a long steadying breath,letting the cool air calm his reeling senses and suddenly gone haywire emotions..

He sighed out as he remembered something,massaging his suddenly parched dry throat..How he wished for a good strong cup of tea right then..

With a futile effort he looked around,trying to squint through the trees..

Normally people do not have tea stalls in forests and mountains,but what if by chance someone had built one to help thirsty people like him who were forced to climb mountains and trek through forests by a heavenly looking witch,who could-..

All his thoughts left his body along with his breath,as he suddenly felt her soft body hug him tightly from behind..

He closed his eyes again,as an odd liquid heat started washing his senses and drowning him in an unknown desire..He tried to take in a steadying breath,abut then she hugged tighter,and the feel of her soft body against his hard one made his body tighten in need once again..

Helplessly he tightened his hand into fists,trying to keep himself from touching her..

"Thank you Baldeva!!!Aaj tu nai hota to mainu kaun bachata?!!Thank you so much!!!

[Thank you Baldeva!!!If you were not here today then who would have saved me?!!Thank you so much!!!]"She sobbed out against his back,and Baldev felt a warm feeling form in his heart at her words..

He gulped and tried to set himself free,while at the same time trying to find some sense in whatever was happening to him.

He moved away from her,and still avoided looking at her face,as he cleared his voice and tried to speak..

"Main nai hota to jo bhi hota wo bacha leta na!Iss mein kaunsi vaddi baat hui?!Aur main koi hero wero ho nai jo mujhe wo thaaank-..Wo saab kehni paregi tainu!Aur ye jhappiyan na tu kisi aur ko jaake dena!Mainu nai!Main to-..

[If I was not here then whoever else was here would have savedyou!What's the big deal in it?!And I'm not any hero that you have to tell thaaank-..Whatever you said to me!And give these hugs to someone else!Not me!I-..]"

Baldev could not finish his tirade as suddenly she whirled him around and brought his one bearded cheek to herself.

"MMMUUUAAAH!!!!!"

He nearly had a heart attack at the noisy big kiss she gave on his cheek..His heart almost jumed out of his rib cage at her act..

"Jhappiya nai!Tainu to pappiya dena chaiye!Aur ye thi mainu bachane ke liye!!!

[Not hugs!You deserve kisses!And this one is for saving me!!!]"She exclaimed laughingly..

And then she turned another heard bearded cheek,and this time placed another softer kiss on it..

"Aur ye hai..Ye hai mere saath bina kuch puche yaha taak aane ke liye..

[And this is..This is for coming here with me without asking any questions..]"This time she said it softly and looked into his eyes with a soft light in them,and then stepped back as she noticed the hot look on his face and the heat building up in his dark eyes..

She could not take two steps back,as she was suddenly pulled into hi arms,and locked in his tight embrace..

His dark eyes burning with an odd fire and strange light in them.

He moved his face closer to hers,and brought his lips closer to hers..

"Aur ek nai degi..?Tujhe jhelne ke liye..?Yaha pe..

[Won't you give another one..?For tolerating you..?Over here..]"He put his finger on his lips,making her inhale a steadying breath as mesmerized she stared into his eyes,looked at his firm male lips,and then back up into his dark eyes again..
