Part 15-Conclusion

Ranvi knew that he had promised Veera that he wouldn't tell Baldev the truth, but he had crossed his fingers when he had promised her. Now, he had to tell Baldev. He couldn't see his sister or Baldev hurting themselves.

Ranvi: "Baldev, tu ne Veera ko galat samjha hai. Veera tujhse bahut pyaar karti hai, aur use tujhse door hoke bahut dukh hai. Lekin teri beeji ki vajah se vo majboor hai."

Baldev was shocked. What did his beeji have to do with all this.

Baldev: "Ki keh raha hai tu Ranvi? Isme meri beeji ka kya lena dena?"

Ranvi told Baldev everything about how Bansuri, along with Gunjan had gone and spoken to Veera, two days before their wedding. Bansuri had told Veera about how she almost had a heart attack on the day of their engagement, because of her opposition to Veera and Baldev getting married.

Baldev was angry at himself. He couldn't believe that he had given up on Veera so easily, and while he could never hate Veera, even if he tried, he hated himself for not questioning Veera when she called off their marriage.

Baldev: "Itna sab kuch hua, aur Veera ne mujhse kuch nahin kahan. Bas, shaadi tod di! Aur beeji? Meri aur Veera ki sagai ke din, beeji ko koi dil ka dohra nahin pada tha. Voh toh bas naraaz thi iss rishte se. Beeji ne inna vadda jhoot bola."

Ranvi: "Baldev, ab toh tu sach janta hai. Ab ki karega? Veera tujhse shaadi sirf Bansuri chaiji ki haan ke baad karegi."

Baldev was in deep thought for some time, and then he began to smile.

Baldev: "Mainu pata hai ki ab kya karna hai. Yeh shaadi zaroor hogi."

The next day...

Veera was heading to the market, and was about to step out the door, when Baldev suddenly stood in front of her, blocking her way. Deep down, Veera was happy to see Baldev, and she felt like hugging him, and apologizing to him for everything, but she remembered her promise to Bansuri.

Veera (angry): "Baldev, mera raasta chod. Mainu market jaana hai."

Baldev began to smile. Veera was confused.

Veera: "Baldev, tu muskura raha hai? Tu theek toh hai na?"

Baldev grabbed Veera's hand and pulled her close to him. With his other hand, Baldev touched Veera's cheek.

Veera: "Tu kya..."

But before Veera could complete her sentence, Baldev put his finger on Veera's lips to make her quiet. Veera was surprised. She looked at Baldev longingly, completely mesmerized.

Baldev: "Itna sab hua, aur tu ne mainu bataya bhi nahin! Itni aasaani se tu ne hamare pyaar ko kurbaan kar diya. Ranvi ne mainu sab sach bata diya. Tu abhi bhi mujhse pyaar karti hai, lekin beeji ki vajah se, tune iss shaadi ko toda. Yeh shaadi hogi. Tu chinta mat kar. Mainu pata hai ki karna hai."

Veera was shocked. Without realizing, tears began to roll down Veera's face, and she hugged Baldev.

Veera: "Sorry Baldeva. Mainu maaf karde. Main tujhe chot nahin pahunchana chahti thi. Main tujhse bahut pyaar karti hoon. Lekin, maine chaiji se vaada kiya tha ki main tujhse shaadi nahin karungi."

Baldev hugged Veera back, and kissed her on her forehead.

Baldev: "Tera Baldeva tujhse kabhi door reh sakta hai? Hum dono kabhi alag nahin ho sakte. Hum dono ek doosre ke liye bane hai."

The next day...

As soon as Balwant, Bansuri and Gunjan were up, they were shocked to see Baldev all set and ready to go, with packed suitcases in the living room.

Bansuri: "Puttar, tu kithe ja raha hai? Itna saara samaan kis liye?"

Baldev (all upset and angry): "Beeji, mainu ab bahut ho gaya! Main Veera ke bina nahin reh sakta. Jahan bhi jaata hoon, main use dekhta hoon ya toh uske sapne dekhta rehta hoon. Lekin usne jo kiya, uske baad agar main iss pind mein aur raha, toh main yeh nahin seh sakta. Isliye, maine teh kiya hai ki main pind chod kar ja rahan hoon."

Bansuri and Gunjan were shocked. Only Balwant seemed unaffected by the news. That's when Baldev looked over at Balwant, giving him a knowing look. Balwant smiled at him. He knew what was happening. Baldev had already told him everything, and he had decided to help Baldev with his plan.

Bansuri: "Puttar, tu ki keh raha hai? Tu apne beeji, papaji nu kaise chod sakta hai? Uss Veera nu bhool ja, aur aage badh!"

Gunjan: "Haan veerji, aap aisa mat kijiye!"

Baldev: "Agar aap sab meri madad nahin karna chahte, toh theek hai. Main ja raha hoon."

Baldev began to leave, but Bansuri stopped him.

Bansuri: "Nahin puttar, mat ja! Ruk!"

Bansuri looked to Balwant for support, but he didn't do anything.

Bansuri: "Sarpanchji, aap aise khade hoke bas tamasha dekh rahe hai? Apne puttar nu nahin rokna ki?"

Balwant: "Ab main ki karan Bansuriji? Baldev, theekh hi toh keh raha hai. Usse jaane dijiye. Abhi bhi voh Veera se pyaar karta hai, aise nahin bhool payega usse."

Bansuri and Gunjan looked at each other, completely helpless. Their plan had completely backfired on them. Earlier, they had been upset when they used to see Baldev destructive, and trying to hurt himself. And now that he seemed to have become okay, it turned out that he was still heartbroken over his breakup with Veera. This was not how Bansuri and Gunjan had wanted their plan to go.

Bansuri: "Baldev, tu yahin ruk! Main abhi aati hoon."

Bansuri left from there.

After a few minutes, Bansuri arrived back, this time she was holding Veera's hand, and had brought Ranvi, Ratan, and chaiji along as well.

Veera and her family were completely confused by what was happening. When Veera looked over at Baldev, with a puzzled expression, Baldev winked at her, letting her know that it was all okay, and she just had to go along with what was happening. Veera smiled back at him.

Veera: "Chaiji, aap mainu ithe kyun lekar aayi?"

Bansuri: "Baldev, dekh main tere liye Veera leke aayi. Ab khush? Ab tu issi se shaadi karega, aur ghar chod ke nahin jayega!"

Gunjan was surprised by Bansuri's sudden change, but then she realized that after everything that her veerji had been through, this was the right thing to do.

Baldev was very happy. He couldn't believe it. His beeji had finally accepted Veera for him, and his plan had worked.

Baldev: "Sach beeji? Aap tussi great ho!"

Baldev went and hugged his beeji. She happily hugged him back.

Bansuri (thinking to herself): "Ab yeh Veera meri ghar ki bahu banegi! Lekin mere puttar ki khushi ke liye mujhe iss shaadi ke liye haan kehni padi!"

Everyone was happy with this great news. Veera and Baldev looked at each other, silently communicating with each other that finally everything was okay in their life, the way it should be, and they would finally get the happiness they deserved together.

Veera and Baldev got all their elders blessings. Their wedding date was fixed, and this time everyone was there at their wedding, with full approval from everyone, including Bansuri and Gunjan.

Baldev: "Ab toh tu meri biwi ban gayi! Ab koi tujhe mujhse alag nahin kar sakta."

Veera smiled and hugged Baldev.

Veera: "Haan Baldev, finally hamari shaadi ho gayi. Ab koi hamare beech nahin aa sakta!"
