~A MIDNIGHT RENDEZVOUS..~

Veera did not know why she could not sleep as she twisted and turned on her bed for the upteempth time,unable to sleep..

She groaned out in frustration,as she covered her face with a pillow,trying to force sleep onto herself,but alas!

Just as she closed her eyes,memories flashed into her mind,and she could actually see his handsome face,his cute naughty teasing smile,his sultry dark look,his rugged unshaven look,and then his lips..

She flushed red thinking about how close she had come to those everytime they accidentally came close..And now after he had accepted her love,she could barely sleep thinking about those lips and him...!

She moaned out in frustration again as she turned round once again trying to sleep in vain..But sleep like before seemed to have aborted her system completely..

She sighed,and let the memories flow..She might as well relive them than trying to force herself to sleep..And as they flowed she blushed redder,and felt hot and uncomfortable..

Soon she had thrown away her blanket,and biting her bottom lip,as she remembered how she had proposed him,and then he reproposed her..

She was just remembering the scorching look he had given her when he-..

THUD!

Veera sat up straight at the sound of something heavy falling,and looked around the darkened room in confusion..

She checked the time in her mobile,and saw it was already midnight,and she suddenly felt scared thinking what could have made that noise..?!

Slowly she looked into the darkened corners of her room..No..Nothing..She bit her bottom lip,and reached for the lamp on her side table..

THUD!

If fell off making her jump again..Somewhere nearby an owl hooted,giving her goosebumps all over.Why was she scared for no reason?!She wasn't usually this-..

She jumped as she heard a soft scratching sound from somewhere..

With shaky hands she reached for her lamp,and finally managed to turn it on..

As soon as the room lighted up with the golden glow of the lamp light she felt a bit relaxed..

She carefully looked around her room..No nothing..

Just to be double sure she walked towards her window and carefully peeped out.She could not see a thing except the empty street..

Heaving a sigh of relief,she turned round towards her bed,when she yelped out seeing a dark shadow infront of her,but then her scream changed to a whimper,as a hard male hand closed over her mouth,while she was pushed up against the wall.

"Mainu dhund rahi thi ki?

[Where you looking for me?]"A familiar husky voice whispered into her ear,making her widen her eyes in shock..

Breathing heavily,she looked into the dark eyes that had been haunting her even some seconds ago..

She pulled his hand away,and hissed out in anger.

"TU?!Iththe ki kar raha hai,inni raat ko..?!

[YOU?!What are you doing here so late at night..?!]"

"Shshshshhh!"Instantly his forefinger was on her lips,and Veera was stunned o silence yet again,as she felt a tingling sensation start on her lips at the slight touch.He moved his head closerto her face,a slight naughty smile at the corner of his lips."Saare gharwalo ko jagane ki iraada hai ki..?

[Do you plan to wake all the household..?]"

Was it her imagination,or did his voice sound extra sensual and husky and arousing..

Veera inhaled a steadying breath,when she felt like throwing the air out of her system again.It was so full of his essence and his musky scent was making her insides twist inside out with excitement,as an odd sultry feeling engulfed her senses.

He was looking at her with that hot intense look that made her insides go liquid and hot and cold all at the same time,and like always Veera could not look away.

His hot breath falling on her face was making her feel dizzy too,but she wanted to hold on,just to drown in those beautiful dark eyes,that made her pulse throb crazily and her lungs hyperventilate..

He was suddenly moving closer too,as if he-..

An owl hooted nearby making them blink,and they both looked away at the same time..Both of them hot,uncomfortable and breathless..

Baldev put some distance between them,and Veera moved away too..

Finally she managed to find her voice.

"Tu ithte?Koi kaam tha kya..?

[You here?Did you have some work..?]"

"Haan.."He replied in a breathless voice.

Veera turned to face him then,her eyes questioning..

"Wo..Wo..Paani milega mainu?

[Ummm..Can I get water?]"He asked sheepishy.

Instantly Veera's temper rose for no reason at all.

She walked upto him,and pushed him hard on his chest.

"Pani?!Ithte pani peene aya tu?!Ya phir nahane?!Tere ghar pe paani nai hai ki?!Registaan ki beech mein hai tera ghar,jo ithte raat gaye iththe meri kaamrein wich aake paani maang raha hai!Tu-..

[Water?!You came here to drink water?!Or to bath?!You don't have water in your house?!Is your house in the middle of a desert that you came here so late at night in my room to ask for water!You-..]"

"Shhsshhhsshhh!"Her finger was on her lips again,as he stepped closer to her,amking hr take a step back..

But Baldev suddenly pulled her to his hard chest,his one hand curving round her waist to pull her close.

Again the flames started shppting through Veera's body as her every cell became aware of his closeness,and her heart rate and breathing quickened fast,as she looked into his mesmerizing eyes.

"Pani hi manga hai sirf..Pappiya nahi..Itni utawla kiu ho rahi hai..?Ya saach mein tainu pappi deni hai mainu..?

[I just asked for water..Not kisses..Why are you getting so excited..?Or is it that you really want to kiss me..?]"His husky words made her body light up in a strange fire instantly.

His finger still on her lips,made her yearn to..

She was not entirely sure what she yearned for at that moment..

Her every sense and awareness was only conscious of the hard male figure plastered close to her body..And her mind,body and soul only wanted to yield to him..

"Bol na Veerakhdi..?Degi mainu..?

[Tell me Veerakhdi..?Will you give it..?]"He moved his finger off her lips,and gently tucked away a few strands of loose hair off her face as he said so..

But as his eyes held hers,Veera could only open and close her mouth as no sound came out..

Finally she managed to speak up,but what she said shocked her more than him..

"Pappi?

[Kiss?]"She asked breathlessly..

His eyes twinkled,and he let out a husky soft chuckle..

"Paani maang raha tha main..Waise tu agar dena chahti hai to-..

[I was asking for water..But if you want to give me-..]"He left the sentence hanging meaningfully as he let go of her waist.

Veera closed her eyes in embarrassment,and felt she would have loved it if the floor had split open and she could slither down some tin hole into it..

She quickly moved away and went to get him that glass of water..

She had taken a few steps when she realized,she had completely forgotten where that glass of water was kept in her room!How could that be!

She worriedly looked around,and then her eyes fell on the glass by her bed..

Sighing out in relief,she reached for the glass and was about to turn with it,when she bumped right into him..

SPLASH!

The entire glass of water soaked both their t-shirts,as Veera stared dumbstruck at his hard heaving wet chest in shock..

When had he come up behind her..?!

Slowly she looked up into his eyes,and her heart stopped..

His dark eyes were burning,as he stared at the t-shirt clinging uncomfortably to her bosom due to the spilled water,and Veera felt her stomach muscles tighten in response to that look.

Suddenly he moved closer,and slowly his one hand moved to take the now empty glass of her hand,and keep it back on the side table..

Veera watched as if in a trance,as the next instant he sat on her bed,and pulled her right on top of his lap,so that he could look at her face sideways.

"Veera..?"His husky voice was hypnotizing her more..

"Tainu pata hai main iththe itni raat gaye kiu aya hu..?

[Do you know why I came hereso late at night..?]"

Numbly Veera shook her head,her tranced state only aware of him at that moment.

"Mainu neend nai aa raha tha..Tainu dekhne ke liye aakhein taras gaye the mere..Pata hai kitne wakhat se maine tainu nai vekha..?

[I could not sleep..My eyes were dying to see you..Do you know for how long I did not see you..?]"

Veera frowned at that question..

She had seen him at 9:30 too..When he had come with the excuse of giving a dupatta to Gunajn bhabhi..

And even at 10:30 he had been standing below her window,trying to talk to her until he heard Chiji's voice and had to leave..!

"Purey ek ghanta tees minute nai vekha main tainu..

[I did not see you for 1 hour and 30 minutes..]"His words,his voice melt her heart into liquid right then,making her breathless and hot all over,as a warm glow spread through her heart..

"Dev tu.."

"Degi mainu Veera..?

[Will you give me Veera..?]"He asked softly,and Veera wanted to die right then and there in sheer happiness..He looked so endearing and hot at that moment that..

"Pani..?

[Water..?]"

"Pappi..

[Kiss..]"He explained softly..

His words fell like a bomb in the silent room,the only sound being there mingled heavy breathing as they stared into each other's eyes..

Suddenly Baldev looked away and stood up,moving her away gently off is lap as he did so..

He mumbled a goodnight,and had climbed up her window..

He was just about to jump down when a hand stopped him by touching his shoulder..

Slowly he turned towards her,to ask if she wanted to say anything..

"Ki-..

[What-..]"

Baldev could not finish his words as suddenly soft lips closed over his..He closed his eyes,and then opened them again,unable to believe what was happening!

Hot need coursed through his nerves and blood stream setting up his entire body on fire,and yet he wanted more..!

She moved her lips tenderly over his,making him hot and hard all over,and just when he was about to grab her face,and kiss her back,she moved away..

"Godnight!"She whispered breathlessly,just before she turned and ran to her bathroom closing her bathroom door bang shut behind her..

Baldev stood there for a few more minutes,trying to take in what had just happened,and then shook his head as he chuckled softly..

He jumped down the window,and licked at his lips,where he could still taste her..

His Sherni had kissed him..!Tonight he won't sleep..!

But yes,days ahead or to be specific nights ahead,would be lovelier for sure as he planned to have a lot of Midnight Rendezvous with his love..

He whooped out with joy,not caring who might hear him,as he licked at his lips again..

His Veera tasted heavenly,he thought possessively !Who knew what else he might find out about her in upcoming Midnight Rendezvous..?
