But fear of it brings you close too-

I did not know what loving you was like-

Until death almost snatched you away from me,and made me realise I just can't live without you..

A slight throbbing made him frown in pain,and then a soft scent tickled at his nostrils..

He frowned deeper..

He knew that scent!

Slowly he squinted his eyes open..

He could not see anything..!

Had he gone blind?!

Suddenly he realized his face was covered by something dark..!

Slowly he raised shaky fingers,and then tried to touch the dark stuffs..

Soft,silky DARK strands of hair fell down his fingers.Hair?!

Had he grown long hairs?!WHEN?!!He could not believe how could he have done this?!How cpuld he grow his hair so long?!And why did his hair smell like Veera's?!

VEERA?!!

That's when he nearly sat straight,but then lay back..

Was he imagining it,or was someone lying with his or her head on his chest..?!Infact it seemed just as if the person lying on his chest was the one the hair belonged to..!

Was that-..

Baldev did not even dare to imagine this-..

But he had to see..Even if for once,he had to see..

Slowly he moved his head to look downwards,and his heart nearly stopped at what he saw..!

Veera was lying with her head resting on his chest,her face turned towards him,as she lay beside him on the bed..Strands of hair half covered her face,as she slept like an innocent babe..

She was holding onto him tight too..As if she did not want to let go of him..And Baldev just could not believe it all to be true at all.

Baldev inhaled a slow steadying breath..He was sure he was dreaming..Or had he died?!

Veera was looking ethereal too..!As if she was an angel..Well to him,she was an angel at most times these days,until she fought with him,that is..!

But her face was almost glowing now..

And Baldev had to see all of it..

He moved his hand towards her face,and then clenched them in hesitation..Should he touch her..Or..

"Baldeva.."Veera's soft whisper nearly made him jump up with a start..But then he realized she was still asleep..!

Slowly he moved shaky fingers to her face,and as if she was the most delicate thing on earth,he moved the silky strands off her face,and tucked them behind her ear..

"Baldeva.."She smiled softly in her sleep,and Baldev felt someone had just overturned his heart.

He was just about to caress her soft cheek,when he noticed the dried tear marks on her cheek..

He frowned Veera had cried her to sleep!

Suddenly Bladev wanted to do something crazy..!Why had his Veera cried herself to sleep?!He just could not take it!He had promised her hadn't he that he would not let her cry,and that he would always be her side to remove her pain..!How could he let this happen?!Baldev nearly wanted to howl out in pain and frustration..!

Baldev rubbed his fingers along her cheek,trying to assure her in her sleep that he was there for her..That she should not be sad..

Even in her sleep Veera seemed to understand his touch,and rubbed her cheek tenderly along his rough hand..And Baldev hitched in another rough breath..

And suddenly Veera opened her eyes..

She stared at him with awed and shocked eyes..As if not understanding what was happening at first..And then she widened her eyes,and inhaled a long sharp breath,as she saw him staring at her..

Baldev almost felt disheartened at her waking up,knowing she would just move away from him right now..

He wanted to puout like a child who knew he would not get the candy he yearned for,but then Veera was always ready to shock him..

ABaldev tried to understand why Veera looked so shocked at seeing him,when suddenly before he knew it,Veera's eyes had welled up with tears,as she sat straight..

Baldev instantly felt horrid for making her cry again..

"Veera..Tu ro maat-..

[Veera..Don't cry-..]"His voice sounded hoarse,strained and strange even in his own ears..He extended one hand towards her,trying to touch her and afraid to do so all at the same time..

She was sobbing hard now,and Baldev wanted to howl out in pain again..Finally unable to hold himself back,he tried to sit up,to move a bit closer to her,when he felt a slight pain in his ribs..He ignored it,and placed his hand hesitantly on Veera's shaking shoulder..

She looked at him with tears pouring from her eyes,and Baldev felt a knot in his throat as his heart constricted painfully again.

"Veera..Tu ro maat..Tainu dard mein vekh ke mainu bhi vadda dard hota hai Veera..

[Veera..Don't cry..Seeing you in pain,I also feel the pain Veera..]"He whispered brokenly..

At his words Veera suddenly went still..

She stared at him with wide wet eyes,as if shocked to the core..

Baldev suddenly felt uncomfortable.At the sudden stillness and quietness..Maybe he had said something wrong..

"Veera-..Mainu-.."He could not finish his sentence,as suddenly Veera moved close to him and her lips closed over his..

Baldev forgot to breathe,and his eyes widened in shock..

But then when her lips started moving over his,Baldev felt himself being stabbed by piercing jagging ecstasy..

He was sure he had died and gone to heaven now for sure..!

Veera's slim fingers ran though his hair at the nape,teasing his senses,as she went on kissing her wildly.

Suddenly she moved away from him just like she had come near..

Breathing heavily,she looked into his eyes with a strange light in hers.

"Baldeva..Tu mainu kinna dara dia tha!!!Tainu ek vaar bhi ye khayaal nai aya ki main tere bina kya karoongi?!Tainu pata hai ki mainu tujhse kinna zyaada pyaar-..

[Baldeva..You scared me so much!!!You did not think even once what I will do without you?!Do you know how much I love-..]"She drifted off..

Baldev stared at her open mouthed..His lips were still tingling from the kiss..And his senses had still not come back to earth..

But he was in senses enough to realize her embarrassed expression..

She was about to look away,when he grabbed her chin..

"Veera..Tainu ki lagda hai..Main iththe kiu ayi tere naal..?Poland vekhne ke liye..?

[Veera..What do you think..Why do you think I came here with you..?To see Poland..?]"She inhaled a steadying breath,her eyes lost in his dark ones..

Baldev was mesmerized by her yet again..She was not embarrassed she had just kissed him,but was embarrassed she had almost spoke her heart out!

Hell,he wanted more of that..!

So the next instant,Veera gasped out as she was pulled into his arms and up against his naked chest.

Yes,he had realized when she was kissing him that he was not wearing any shirt or anything to cover his chest..

Veera tried to move away..

But Baldev had had enough of it all!

He looked into her beautiful eyes,all the love of the universe burning in them,along with a hunger that she had just evoked within him..

Veera tried to move a bit away again..Half of his chest was bandaged due to his accident,and she was scared he might be hurt again..

But Baldev as he looked at her with burning eyes,was past caring about anything it seems=es,she realized with a shattered breath.

Her heart was racing like anything..

And then the next instant,his arms curved round her waist,and his lips closed over hers..

Hot thrills of pleasure and need coursed her nerves and blood stream,as his lips moved over hers hungrily..

His warm male lips sucked on hers gently at first,and then suddenly the kiss became more passionate..His hand moved inside her kurta,by accident,but once it did,it massaged the soft skin of her waist,making her gasp and moan some more against his lips..

"Main tainu haad se zyaada pyaar kart hun Veera..

[I love you limitlessly..]"He mumbled against her lips,and went on kissing her..

Veera tried to free herself after some time..

Breathing raggedly,she stared into his dark hungry eyes,and pointed at his bandaged chest..

"Baldeva tainu dard hoga-..

[Baldeva you might get hurt-..]"Veera tried to warn him..But her words were lost in his wild erotic kiss..

"Mainu sirf taab dard hota hai jab tu mujhse dur hoti hai..Mere pass reh..Mainu koi dard nai hoga..

[I am just hurt when you are away from me..Stay close to me..I won't get hurt..]"He whispered softly..

And with those words he made her lie down on the bed beside him,as he captured her lips again in another hot kiss..

Why were they their together after all for..?!

It was true that Passion,Paradise and Poland were all rolled into one for both of them..
