Hey guys! Here another update for you guys! Its short one hey, its and update. It might be a little crappy, sorry about that. But on the other hand, I said I would try to double update and did! Chapter 3
Gayatri and Indravardhan felt like they were in heaven in each other's embrace. They had been waiting for this moment of reunion for so long. They just stood there in silence seeking comfort in each others arms. Gayatri was the first one to break the silence, "I'm sorry," she apologized.
"For what?" Indravardhan asked confused.
"For hurting you, if it weren't for my childishness, you wouldn't have gotten hurt with that tree bark," Gayatri sobbed.
"Gayatri. First stop crying, you know and I can't see you cry. Second, I wasn't your fault, so don't blame yourself for it," Indravardhan consoled Gayatri.
"No it is my fault!" Gayatri said as her sobbing turned into crying.
"Gayatri... Listen..." Indravardhan tried again.
But Gayatri wasn't listening, all she could think of was Indravardhan getting hurt. After multiple tries of consoling Gayatri , Indravardhan had had enough. He did the only thing that came to his mind. He planted a kiss right on her lips and putting all the passion he could in it. Gayatri was too shocked to respond at first, but her senses kicked in and she responded to Indravrdhan's kiss with equal passion. Indravardhan's hands tightened around Gayatri waist and Gayatri clenched Indravardhan's t-shirt. After a long passionate kiss, they slowly broke off. Indravardhan rested his forehead on Gayatri's, both panting and trying to catch their breath. After a good while, Gayatri realized what had just happened. Heat rose to her cheeks and she turned her head away from Indravadhan.
Seeing Gayatri's shyness, Indravardhan smirked a little. The proximity between them was making her knees go weak. She was totally lost in the kiss to realize how close they were. "Leave me Indra..." Gayatri managed to say.
Indravardhan responded with bringing Gayatri more close to him. He loved teasing her, the blush made Gayatri had on her face made her look even more beautiful. On the other hand, Gayatri was shocked at Indravardhan's gesture and didn't know what to do. She tried getting of Indravardhan's grip but he was way stronger than her. After a couple of minutes of struggling she gave up and just laid her head on Indravardhan chest. "What? Ms. Gayatri Das gave up already," Indravardhan teased.
Gayatri shot a glare Indravardhan, which added to Indravardhan's humor. Gayatri's glare didn't last,she couldn't resist a smile after looking at Indravrdhan's smile. Indravardhan led Gayatri to her bed and they both lay down, with Gayatri resting her head on Indrvardhan's chest. After a long pause, Indravardhan said, "I missed you."
"I missed you too," Gayatri replied back.
Suddenly, Indrvardhan remembered about the gift he had gotten for Gayatri. He told Gayatri he had something for her, Gayatri's eye lit up. They both sat up and Indrvardhan took out the small box from his pocket. He slowly opened it, revealing a beautiful sliver necklace. The necklace was simple and had a small heart-shaped diamond pendant. At the back of the pendant, the letters I and G was encarved in elegant handwriting. "It's beautiful," Gayatri said mesmerized. "Thank you."
Before Indrvardhan could say anything, the sound of the main door opening was heard. Indrvardhan and Gayatri looked at each other, with a hint of sadness in their eyes. Their meeting was over, without saying a word Indravardhan got up and started walking towards the balcony with Gayatri's hand in his. When they reached they balcony, Gayatri made eye contact and her eyes were telling Indravardhan to be carefully. Indravardhan just smiled and kissed Gayatri's forehead lightly. He began descending down the tree carefully not to alert the family members. Gayatri watched until Indravardhan stepped down on the ground. Indravardhan looked up. They had had an eye lock and their mouths turned up into a smile. Gayatri waved at Indravardhan and he waved back. He turned around and let out a sigh, thinking of when he would be able to meet her again.
Chapter 4
"Gayatri!" Dayanti Das, Gayatri's mom yelled.
"Coming!" Gayatri shouted a reply as she hurried down the stairs.
Gayatri and her family were going to Indravardhans's house. Indravardhan's father had ivited them for dinner as Indrvardhan had returned from the America. When Gayatri reached the last step, she found her whole family waiting. As soon as she arrived, they left.
In the car, everyone was talking about how long it had been since they saw Indravardhan last. A lot can change in 5 years...Gayatri thought. Gayatri was in her own world when suddenly her mother wondered out loud if Indrvardhan changed or not.
"He's the same, he's still a bewakoof," Gayatri said before she could stop herself.
When she realized, she looked around everyone was looking at her. All had only one question in their minds, How do you know? Gayatri quickly fixed her mistake, " I mean, he was a bewakoof before so I'm sure he still one."
Everyone started laughing and Gayatri's mom playfully pulled her ear for talking like that about her favorite Indravardhan. Gayatri let out a breath of relief and joined their laughter.
When they arrived at Indravardhan's house, they saw Indrvardhan and Laksh at the door step waiting for them. Gayatri couldn't help but smile. When her family got out of the car, they all went up to greet Indravardhan. When everyone was done saying hi, they all started staring at Gayatri , she knew very well why. But she just stood there with a bright smile, until her mom sternly told her to stay hi.
"Oh! Sorry! Hi bewakoof," Gayartri said.
Everyone's mouth dropped and Gayatri couldn't contain her laughter. Gayatri's mother was giving her a death stare. "I'm joking! Hi Indravardhan! How are you? How was your trip? Have to reconnected with any friends?" Gayatri started her never ending list of questions.
Gayatri's mother came to her and sternly told her to stop and she did. As they were entering the house, Gayatri flashed a smirk to the still bewildered Indrvardhan.
When everyone was inside, Laksh went up to his brothe and said "Bhai, your dead."
All Indravardhan could do was nod.
