Chapter 1
** Gayatri Das: Age 10
Indravadhan Singh: Age 11 **
"Gayatri beta comes here," Govind Das called his daughter.
As an obedient daughter she listened to her father and slowing walked towards her father. Govind Seth put his hand on Gayatri's shoulder and introduced to her to a man and his son.
"Gayatri, this is Devadhan Singh one of my closest friends and my business partner."
"Namaste uncle," Gayatri said.
"Namaste beta," Devadhan replied smiling.
"And this is Indrvadhan, he's son,"Govind Das continued.
Indravadhan... what kind of name is that...sound like some...Gayatri didn't get to finish her thought because her father had called her. She heard a faint noise coming from the boy and saw that the boy was laughing at her. How dare he laugh at Gayatri Das? Gayatri thought
"Hi," Gayatri said gritting her teeth.
The boy replied to her hi and when their parents weren't looking he stuck his tongue at her. A shocked Gayatri didn't know how to respond. But she swore that she would get revenge.
This started the story of two innocent souls that will later become one but will they survive the storms and rise above them or will their relationship be destroyed by them.
7 years later...
** Gayatri Das: Age 17
Indravadhan Singh: Age 18 **
They were laughing as my arm burned up with pain. Tears rolled down my eyes and my mouth was clenched. Suddenly I felt hands on my face wiping away my tears; I looked up to see who they belonged to. A concerned face smiled at me his eyes asking if I was okay. I nodded my head in response. After the little silent conversation he got up and stared at the boys who had pushed me and caused me to get hurt. Something in his look made their face go pale, in an instance they fled to safety. Then turned to me and helped me up. "They wouldn't hurt you again, I promise" he said smiling.
I looked up at him and smiled,
"Thank you Indra, I love you."
"I love you too Gayatri"
5 years later...
** Gayatri Das: Age 22
Indravadhan Singh: Age 23 **
Gayatri
Dear Dairy,
It's me Gayatri. Today I finally get to meet Indra after 5 year. I saw him when he returned from America but it was only for a brief minute. My hearts aching to see him, touch him, talk to him. It was so hard to not think of him; every time I close my eyes I saw his face...
Indravadhan
"Indra bhaiya, where are you going?" Lasksh said raising his eyebrows.
"Like you don't know, now wipe that stupid smirk off your face and come help me," Indravadhan said while looking down the whole time.
He was looking for the gift he had gotten for Gayatri but couldn't find it anywhere.
"Yes bhai. Bhai? How did you do it?" Laskh asked expressing his curiosity.
"Care to explain my dear brother?" Indravadhan asked.
"How did you keep your love for Gayatri di...I mean Gayatri BHABHI so strong even after being separated for 5 years?" Laskh said leaving no chance to tease his brother.
Indravadhan pulled his brother's ears and when to the drawers and started rummaging through them with a smile on his face. Bhabhi... he like the sound of it (From Laskh's mouth of course😛) "I wasn't that hard, she isn't a person you can forget. Her smile, her eyes, her..."Indravadhan was interrupted by his brother.
"Bas Bas aur info nahi chahiye. Tell me how you fell in love," Laskh cut his brother off before his brother mentioned every part of Gayatri's body.
Gayatri
...The weird thing is our story didn't have a good start; no we had a horrible start. You know what he did; he stuck his tongue out at ME, Gayatri Das! If I could I would have answered it right then and there but I was too shocked to response. After that encounter we kept meeting again and again when our parent met and then slowly we became friend and then best friend and then...Lovers. I don't know how it happened, when it happened, but it happened...we fell in love...madly in love. Come to think of it, our story was a classic I-fell-in-love-with-my-best friend.
Gayatri Das (GIS)
Indravadhan
"How we fell in love...well...I don't know...all I know is it wasn't a good start. I remember the first time I met her, I stuck my tongue out at her and her eyes were popping out." Indravdhan recalled the memory laughing.
"What you stuck your tongue at her? She must have gotten back at you big time, I mean its Gayatri di," Laskh said shocked.
Ya bhabhi sounds better... Indravadhan thought while he laughed at his little brother's responds. "Yes, yes she did get back..."
"What happened next?" Laskh asked excited.
"Nothing really... It just happened, we fell in love,"Indravadhan replied honestly.
"Nothing...how can that be possible?" Laskh asked.
Indravadhan just smiled at his brother, he didn't have the answer to his question. His and Gayatri's story was a classic I-fell-in-love-with-my-best friend types. By now, he had found his gift and was getting ready to meet Gayatri. Here I come love...
Interesting.Waiting for the update/
Hey guys! Here is a new update for you guys! But before that I need to say something, I didn't get a good respond to the last update. So I was wondering if you guys liked it or not because not a lot of people liked it or commented. I just feel discouraged and feel like I shouldn't continue because people don't like it. I decided to give it another shot, so please please give me feedback. Its fine if you don't wanna comment, just give it a like. Another thing, this is not about gaining likes, it just I want to give people something they enjoy, if you guys don't like it, there is not point in continuing. So please give me feedback on how to improve, or what do you like about it or what you want. That is all I ask for. Okay I done with my rant 😆. Sorry if I annoyed some people. But enough of that enjoy the update guys! I tried to put some romance in it, it turned out okay in my opinion. Enjoy!
Chapter 2
It was 9 pm and Gayatri was sitting on her bed reading her books. She was home alone as everyone had gone out to some relative's house for dinner. She had made up an excuse to not go because she knew that someone would be coming to meet her tonight. She had a book open in her hands but she was staring right through the black and white. Her heart was pounding a million beats per minute; she didn't know what she would do when he was here. She had gone through hundreds of scenarios in her mind, what she would say, how he would respond. Her trail of thoughts was interpreted by a thud sound. It was coming from her balcony. He was here...
Gayatri got up and sprang to the balcony, but then stopped midway. She wasn't going to let him go that easily; he had made her wait for so long, now it was her turn. She slowly walked to the balcony door and opened the latch. Than without saying another word, she went back to her bed and started reading again.
Outside, Indravardhan was confused, trying to figuring out what was wrong. He threw another rock and waited to see if she would come back. He needed help to get to her window as it was on the second floor. This is what was that always happened when they would meet at night. He would throw a rock at her balcony window; she would come up to the window and throw a string of her dupattas so he would climb up. But something was not right; today she had left without saying a word. This wait was driving him crazy, he wanted to see her, hold her in his arms. He had enough now he was going to find a way to get up to her room no matter what.
Indravardhan looked around and started to find something he could climb. Then he saw a tree that was close to Gayatri's balcony. He tucked the gift box in his pocket and began to climb up the tree. As he was climbing up the tree, his put his hand on a pointy bark and hurt his hand. "Ouch!" He yelled.
As soon as Gayatri heard a yelp of pain, she shot up and ran to balcony door and pushed tthe glass doors open. The sudden movement caught Indravardhan by surprise and he was about to lose his grip, but Gayatri caught his arm in time. When regained his balance, he placed his arm back on the tree truck. Gayatri satisfied that Indravardhan was safe, went inside and came back with a string made out of her dupattas. She threw it to Indravardhan and helped him climb up to her room. Once on the balcony, she took Indrvardhan inside to bandage his hand.
Indravardhan was staring at Gayatri the whole time, more precisely her eyes. Her eyes held pain in them, as if she had gotten hurt instead of him. She went to one to her cupboard and got out a first aid kit. She slowly came to her bed where Indravardhan was sitting and started cleaning his wound. As soon as the antiseptic touched his open wound, he hissed loudly. Gayatri's head shot up and she looked at him. His eyes were shut tightly. She started blowing air to the wound, so it would easy up the pain. After she was done bandaging the wound, she quietly got up and went to put the first aid kit back.
The tears that were slowly trickling down her eyes did not go unnoticed. Indravardhan couldn't see Gayatri crying, his heart ached. The pain he felt was more than pain of the wound. He got up and went to where Gayatri was standing. He held her shoulders and made her face him, her head was hung low. He put a hand on her chin and made her look up and looked into her eyes. He wiped his tears and hugged her tight and so did she. What people say was right; two souls in love don't need words to communicate, their eyes are enough.
