@chicksoup : Nope. Cant agree. Reason being that the jewellery given by RaniMaa to Rana Deo was the heirloom collection, so its obvious that Sulakshana also had it, which came back to RaniMaa after her demise! 😃 Can u imagine a situation where the pillow cover or bedroom decor has any item of Sulakshans's taste or liking, what will happen to Rana Deo? He can wake up in the middle of the night after an awesome sensual rendezvous with Gayatri and yell,"Sulakshana! Oh Sulakshana!" What a tragedy. 😃 Its crazy! When he does archery or dines or walks in the lawns, everything needs to remind him of his dead wife!! The Sulakshana entry into Rana Deo's mind was grossly mistimed. There is a black veiled woman chasing the couple around. Where was she when Rana Deo was away at war? What if he had come back with a beautiful memsaab? Its completely out of sync...

When Rana Deo decided to move on consciously, this could hav been avoided. They could hav just implanted Sulakshana right in front of him and then once he realises she is indeed alive, all the hallucinations can get kicked off. Would hav been very realistic...now the script has been tossed around!

Saw a lot of mixed reviews. Which is natural given that we have had a sudden change of track. Reg Navratri, RM had said Gayatri's 1st navaratri should be celebrated in a grand fashion. Suddenly, she's celebrating alone in the Mahal with these two in G's maaika!! My guess is, the Swarna track must have been planned, and due to extraneous factors (, trps!), they suddenly decided to shift to Sula.

• For me, yesterday worked well, because I was expecting it, even without the Sula factor, it would've been unnatural for Ranaji to move on without sorting out his loyaties in his head. If he had not been married, the only major MU between them would have been the sauda.

• Ranaji's feelings/attraction towards Gayatri were spontaneous. So far, they have shown us that he is attracted to her beauty. he finds her cute, innocent. But is it love? According to him, he loved only Sulakshana.

• So for RAGA to take off , Sula has to be dispensed off. Yes, if she had come in later, it would've been far more credible. Ah well! For that, they needed to have had the leads in one frame long ago, that was one big blooper I feel.

• I felt for the couple in that moment, when Ranaji realised he was close to accepting G, and thus being 'disloyal' to the memories of his wife. I felt G's anger and frustration that she was not able to get through this barrier between them. not to forget, this was the first time, they were in one room together at night.

• About the acting, I found Sid's dialogue delivery staccato from the time they enter the room together. If he was trying to gently tease her, it did'nt come through. he did better without dialogues, like BW said when he corners her. The scene at the temple, was not convincing at all. Dialogues were very thanda, no mention of loving Gayatri even at that point. In fact, Sula turned around and told him she was his soul mate.

• As for the symbolism of her appearing as an answer to his question, this is ST's style, he creates these contrary signals, all the time. He is not someone who believes in them I think, so he subtly provokes the audience by adding them and disproving them later.
• DD was excellent. She is a pro at such scenes. The lady playing Sulakshana is no match, sorry to be mean.

I really hope this gamble pays off for the team. i feel terrible for them. ST managed to turn around MB from a similar point. But he has had duds after that.

@ Bold - I remember we used to discuss how RNJ will first start to respect and like her for her values, her thoughts and for their shared ideologies then will follow the physical attraction and love😆

As long as we got more RaGa in one frame, we were not in a hurry for their love story to start this suddenly. There were so many tracks they could have dealt with before they brought in Sona... Zee would have brought in Sona without a doubt because this is one o their standard themes, that is why her body was never found.
The lady playing Sona has been chosen for a reason😃

I am watching the episode again for Gayu's saree😆 I love the colors though I am not too fond of pink. DD looks so beautiful in those colors.

This is exactly where I can't connect. Is Rana Deo only attracted to Gayatri's beauty and is seeking physical comfort, which he has denied to himself for so long?? 😲 😲 It is a very natural feeling, but doesn't match with his character where he is shown to be a very committed and loyal person. I am watching another show which is more or less on the same lines - leads are married and haven't consummated since four years. The male lead has a daughter from his previous marriage and they hav agreed to marry only for the child and will continue to remain best friends - unknown to the family! The chemistry here is also wonderful with amazing dialogues and the male lead even sports a stubble... 😉 I love that.

There is competition in every slot on TV, so you can't fail. The audience has a choice. Script/acting and direction hav to be consistent, else one can loose out. Unlike Bollywood, which nowadays can break- even during the first two weeks (pricing of tickets), irrespective of being a hit or miss, its not the same for TV soaps with huge budgets. I hav seen the Godrej fiasco earlier in a daily soap. It was a disaster.

I don't know what the Creatives hav in mind. They need to sort out the script first. If the coming scenes are going to show Rana Deo all lovey-dovey during Karva-Chauth and then again 'seeing' Sulakshana in the mind...he needs a psychiatrist. 😕 Simple and straight. The King is intelligent. So, I would like it better to change the storyline and bring in Sulakshana's step sister. Let Rana Deo meet her while he is horse-riding or she comes to the Mahal after her studies abroad. Let her be in cahoots with Kunwar chacha. 😊 Rana Deo would be able to finally get over his first wife when he spends time with her step-sister and learns some secrets about Sulakshana. So, while we hav the step-sister trying to woo Rana Deo because she is a lookalike and also his childhood friend, Rana Deo can be shown as shrewd and a smart cookie!!

It's better than showing Rana Deo as unstable and the usual...
